  1. And now it's a done deal.
  2. It's a high cost of low livin' Ain't it high time? You turn yourself around Yeah, the high cost of low livin' It's bound to put you six feet in the ground
  3. A defense of Beltran getting fired from an unexpected source - Mike Francesa. Main points were that Texeira and CC should keep their mouths shut because the Yankee teams were loaded with cheats (steroid users) and Beltran shouldn't get fired simply because he lied to the media. https://nypost.com/2020/01/16/mike-francesa-calls-out-ex-yankees-for-sign-stealing-criticisms/ I still think the Mets and Beltran should part ways.
  4. Yeah, now that the dust is settling on the Astros and Cora the NY press has their sights set on Beltran. Collins is a great call.
  5. Stay! And help me to end the day And if you don't mind We'll break a bottle of wine
  6. The silence from him and the Mets has been deafening. I have no idea what the contract implications are but stepping down sounds like the softest landing he could expect. I wonder what happens to his coaching staff. I read the report. I thought it was odd that he was the only player mentioned but his contribution to the sign stealing was vague.
  7. Two great songs. For our D, I'd go with the Milano Mosh from the same era of metal:
  8. So the Red Sox cheated, but it didn't help. At all. BTW, did the report say that the Red Sox only cheated at home? Or are we still waiting for that report to come out? Don't get me wrong, I expect that the Red Sox did their cheating at home too. What amazes me is how you as a Pats fan can hide behind the 'well we would have won anyway' excuse. Reminds me of a a relative of mine who honestly believed the guy's nickname was The Deflater because of his weight loss program. Blind loyalty IMO.
  9. This deserves more than just a Haha emoji.
  10. We were so good we didn't really need to cheat. Cheating had nothing to do with our success. Sounds vaguely familiar, where have I heard this before? Sigh..
  11. Don't leave me hanging on the telephone
  12. If I could Baby, I'd give you my world Open up Everything's waiting for you You can go your own way
  13. How so? My thought is that the Bills and Titans are fairly comparable.
  14. I get your point, but the Bills loss is a lingering black cloud over the playoffs for me. I didn't enjoy the Pats loss as much as I would have if it wasn't right after our loss. And every Titan win is a reminder of how close we were to making a run this year. But my glass is half full. Two years ago I was fine with losing the wild card game, this year I expected more. It feels good to expect more.
  15. I'm a man yes I am and I can't help but love you so
  16. When I think backOn all the crap I learned in high schoolIt's a wonderI can think at all

  18. I've had a Volvo and a Cadillac I've driven everything in between I like the feel driving down the road But now I just cannot forget what I seen This little number's gonna say goodbye To all the gravity and unleaded fuels Yeah my car's pretty good but Space Ship One just rules
  19. Only saw Rush once. One of only two shows I can think of where my focus was on the percussionist for most of the show. R.I.P.
  20. I'm gonna burn right up like a two dollar pistol rocket shot through the sun I'm alive and I'm a jiving I'm a passing you by I can't stop for anyone I gotta live my life, can't stop for you Gotta keep a runnin' gotta keep a runnin'
  21. Is that a crucifix in your pocket or are you just enjoying the show?
  22. Here's what I'd want: During a cold and snowy pregame ceremony at Gillette, a liquored up Gronk mistakes L.A. Rams QB and old friend Brady for a Lego Space Ghost bust and does the only thing he can - smashes the Tom/Space Ghost head into a million pieces. Kraft and the Gillette faithful rejoice as Joe Pendleton (RIP - Buck Henry) takes the field. In true Hollywood fashion Pendleton defeats Emperor Palpatine Hoodie once and for all. On the drive home, Kraft is arrested for DWI, but only after....
