  1. Honey, I saw you there last night Another man's arms holding you tight Nobody knows what I feel inside All I know, I walked away and cried I've got dreams, dreams to remember
  2. Now she's gone And I'm out with a friend With lips full of passion And coffee in bed
  3. By 1984 they were losing relevance for me. But Hot For Teacher and Drop Dead Legs kept me interested. "I don't feel tardy"
  4. And well deserved. I had the good fortune of seeing them on the Fair Warning tour. Didn't know it at the time, but they were at the crest IMO.
  5. Too true. 'One break - coming up!!!' The whole exchange is cheesy as hell but somehow David Lee made it work in a big way.
  6. For me, lesser voices can also add to the listening experience, although I do have my limits.
  7. Shout out to my middle schooler for sending me this link about the Mets cookie club: https://www.mlb.com/news/mets-2019-cookie-club As an aside, two years ago I would have been mortified at the thought of Dom Smith in a cookie club.
  8. Listen in awe and you'll hear him Bark at the moon
  9. Into this house we're born Into this world we're thrown Like a dog without a bone An actor out on loan Riders on the storm
  10. To each their own. I thought the Dio albums breathed life into a dying band.
  11. Sabbath/Dio is bad-ass:
  12. And they'll tell you black is really white The moon is just the sun at night And when you walk in golden halls You get to keep the gold that falls
  13. Here's another rap/rock cross-over that I thought was pretty good But it comes with a parental warning: Ice-T doesn't use this language on SVU (NSFW):
  14. You think you got the interest Come on and take the time 'Cause you know, I wanna be Yours in a simple rhyme
  15. My avatar pic was taken at a similar moment after a game with a better outcome. Good times.
  16. This is a song about Spike He is a bad ass guy Who just happens to be A really good friend of mine Everyone I know yeah Who knows Spike, too Would agree when I say the words That, spike is cool Yeah, the problem with my friend Spike He has fallen into A true love with a nice girl Who has gotta lot of tattoos He always talks crazy Whenever she calls He always talks like a baby Yeah it's obvious She has got him by the balls
  17. So you do what you want And pretend again that it's time to roam 'cause you can't go home Maybe you'll find your way today, But while you're at it you'll have some fun And through tears of laughter You know it's nothing until you find someone You wouldn't miss it You don't care if it's day or night
  18. I'm a back door man The men don't know But the little girls understand
  19. I used to have an angel, she took care of everything Yeah, so sometimes we cried, maybe more than most, but so what We shared everything, even some things we should not have shared Like my separate reality, now there's only room for me
  20. Then she gave us the finger It was rigid 'n stiff That's when the Devil, he farted An' she went right over the cliff
  21. Are you wasted again Coach?
  22. I could care less who was a better singer, if that was my criteria I'd listen to more Pavarotti. Dave helped make songs great, Sammy never did that for me. I don't agree that Dave couldn't sing Sammy songs, he just wouldn't sing them the same way - and I'd probably like them more with Dave.
  23. Went to a hockey game tonight and they played Steppin' Out by Joe Jackson. Great song that I hadn't heard in ages. I've never listened to a Joe Jackson album, should I? There have been a few good covers:
  24. Two entirely different bands is exactly it. Van Hagar was never Van Halen to me and it tarnished the brand that I loved. If Van Hagar came first I doubt they'd have been a blip on my radar screen.
  25. On the back of a winged horse Through the sky of pearly grey Love is leaf-like... You and me, baby Twinkle, twinkle Blah, blah, blah E! T! C!
