McDaniels should have turned to his OG savior Tim Tebow

I think big guys on the front line add an extra dimension to the front line. As the weather takes a turn for the worse beef is needed.

Josh Allen - DNP Wednesday Practice Designation
Dr.Sack replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Allen should be taking off every Wednesday IMHO. Let the QB who doesn’t throw on game day to take throws Wednesday. -
I’m optimistic based on a few stats: The Bunguls have run for only 553 yards and 2 TDs all year, while giving up 970 and 6 TDs. The Bengals are 0-3 when giving up 24 or more points. Buffalo is 4-1 when scoring 24 or more points. The Bills are 0-3 when running under 100 yards. The Bengals are 3-3 when running under 100 yards. The Bengals have only posted 1 100+ yard running game. The Bengals replaced TE Hayden Hurst with an absolute dud, Irv Smith Jr. Hurst concussed Taron Johnson in the cancelled game and hurdled our defense in the playoff game. The Bengals don’t have RB Perrine. Allen has +10 days rest, Burrow is rounding into form but has yet to be really challenged and chased around the pocket. I expect McDermott will play tighter coverages and challenge Burrow early and often.

Raiders fired HC Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler.

McDaniel is a horrible OC. Totally propped up by Brady. -
Cult leaders like Biden & Trump depend on an ignorant voter population. Remember what you are voting for when you choose b/n the Blue or Red pill is bathrooms and other social wedge issues. The arms industry is very excited about the impact of the topic of this thread which the WSJ has reported. So remember the real cult are the people that think voting in general means a very different outcome on this thread. The truth is it doesn’t mean jack. War is profit.

To me it comes down to McDermott vs Taylor, and Dorsey vs Anarumo. I think McD will get the best of Taylor, and Dorsey will have new wrinkles to attack Anarumo’s bend but don’t break defense.

The attrition rate of 1st round picks looks like the following. I think Elam eventually gets PT either on Bills or elsewhere. 2010 only 4/32 playing in 2023 2011 7/32 2012 7/32 2013 4/32 2014 12/32 2015 19/32 2016 20/31 2017 25/32 2018 29/32 2019 30/32 *1 death 2020 28/33 *1 prison 2021 32/32 2022 32/32 * Elam doesn’t play

Reports coming out that IDF killed many of their own on October 7th, shelling homes and bases that Hamas had overrun. https://thegrayzone.com/2023/10/27/israels-military-shelled-burning-tanks-helicopters/

I like Lenny’s pass block ability and ability to catch checkdowns. I think Brady hit him for a ton of checkdowns that resulted in 1-3 yard gains.

Sports Talk Radio is so underrated.

If the Bills bring their A game he won’t be able to talk trash.

There’s so much more season left, and this could be a year where someone who was written off early makes a late run from nowhere and takes it. Allen is in the race based solely on his statistical outlier of a season so far compared to other QBs, and you are correct that his team is 5-3 making it virtually impossible to win without a leading #1 QB record. When you finish in the middle of the pack record wise everything you failed at doing is amplified. As we all know it’s not how you start but how you finish. If Josh is the have any shot at MVP, he will have to fare well down the stretch run against the likes of @ Burrow, @ Hurts, @ Mahomes, H Prescott, @ Herbert & @ Tua. It’s likely Allen will be a road dog in all but the Chargers game. 3/5 of those QBs are the early MVP favorites, and Burrow & Herbert could easily be added to the convo. Luckily for us those games are critical to the Bills season.

Luckily for us Irv Smith is not as good of a replacement for Hurst as Bengals had hoped. Getting consistent pressure on Burrow with 4 is essential. Hopefully Von’s knee is ready to go. Looking ahead at the weather it looks like a nice fall night with zero precipitation in the forecast. Our mini-bye should also help.

Week 8 - Around the NFL (i.e. NOT a Bills thread please)
Dr.Sack replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Burrow seems to be back to 100 as evidenced by his 21/23 first half. -
This defeatist attitude reminds me of white people in the south waxing poetic about the “Lost Cause”. My suggestion? Stop living in the past, start living in the present, and man up.

If NFL goes international It must change its name to IFL, and lose its tax exempt status and Roger Goodell gets his $1B nest egg distributed to retired players healthcare fund.
