  1. Agree. But shall we make this bigger picture... it isn't the prisons that suck, but the mental health system? In all events, it's philosophical discussion of whether prison is for punishment or rehabilitation. Here, I'd rather argue whether Rex should have hired his bro.
  2. It's all about mental health. I did a Google. On ESPN I saw LP's last letter to his former coach. Very logical and in character with what many of us would say. At one moment he has documented murder actions, then another moment he comes across soundly. I hope the big brains at mental health can fix this.
  3. Does sarcasm on sarcasm equal a negative times negative which is a positive??? I'm so confused... What another off season brings, with or without playoffs.
  4. Will that be a Hummer based limo, or a sedan based limo? Just askin.. because as Bills fans stand on the sidelines now.. pointless queries seem to be the rage, Me.. I like sedan based limo. I mean really... if you're driving into a city event, why not have a smooth suspension.
  5. Sorry. Bill Belichick. Obviously, the Evil Genious needs to be added to Invision Power Board's spell check. Along with a gif of his current GF.
  6. Or a mane like a unicorn? A fat unicorn in this case.
  7. Will this be 1 or 2? 1. The Bills hiring of Kaye Stephenson 2. The Pats hiring of Beleickek We fans can bloviate all we want, but only time will tell. ..ooops dissociative moment... WTF am I posting about Cleve in a Bills board?
  8. No, EJ is a better backup. Tebow is interesting. He's a very fine person. He's got character thru the roof. But he's not backup material. If he were, he'd be on some roster somewhere now. All that being said: I wouldn't mind him being brought into training as the third arm, to keep three fields running. I remember you. Your post had a goatse.cx link Bad girl.
  9. Then Whaley is smart. College finance courses are difficult.
  10. Your instinct is correct, IMO. LA is not a good NFL football city. Many people in LA were not raised there following a team.. they're transplants from other parts of the country (or Mexico, Guuatemala), and they remain loyal to their childhood football team.
  11. The vote may be tomorrow. I did some reading and I listened to KFI AM (via iheart radio). Here's what I picked up: WHICH TEAM most believe consensus is building for the Rams and Chargers to move Oakland would be the odd man out All three teams want to relocate for 2016 season, decision needed soon to begin selling tickets. LEAGUE POLITICS the LA move was formally proposed last week by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones Goodell/NFL covet a presence bring professional football back to the country's second-largest market NFL claims market research supports a two team LA tremendous sensitivity among owners; they don't like giving a "no" to Oakland Oakland consolation prize in the works? to soothe Oakland's feelings, they may give Oakland permission to move next year or later while "leaks" suggest consensus is near; one owner said the deals aren't anywhere near done vote will likely be by secret ballot; to avoid straining future relationships but first, the secret ballot vote has to be approved by a vote 3/4 of owners must approve a franchise relocation NEAR TERM STADIUM not clear yet the coliseum can hold one team; but what about the other? Rose Bowl appears uninterested in hosting Angel Stadium and Dodger stadium are also considered League officials are not concerned about near term stadium FUTURE STADIUM slated for 2019 season competing sites:Inglewood Carson Chargers favor Carson Carson is being pushed by Disney Corp. if Carson is select; Disney may get a minority share in a team any stadium built will be a two team facility cost exceeding 2 billion; privately financed would be the largest stadium in the league, 300 acres one owner described future stadium as wonderous "NFL Disney Land" MY TAKE the machine that makes rose colored glasses is working overtime I'm not convinced LA is a very good NFL city, history has proven this the prospective fan-base there doesn't seem very excited I do believe the Rams and Chargers will move the move will be an ugly process the temporary stadiums will suck Above all, I thank God TP and KP purchased the Bills and we aren't part of this mess.
  12. I can't tell if this a sarcastic Q. Whaley is not tied to Rex... so that isn't making him sweat. Whaley just got a new contract... so that isn't making him sweat. And it's 18 degrees out with gusts up to 33 mph... so that isn't making him sweat.
  13. Nice find Guns. Football administration is not football ops. I wonder if that last sentence will silence the RB truthers... nah.
  14. Rob needs a haircut, but at least he has the dignity not wear a pony tail or a man bun. The guy has to lose weight, he's going to have serious health consequences. He should get the same surgery Rex did. I'm neutral on the hire.
  15. That reminded of Seantrel Henderson and his battle with Crohns disease. I hope he slays it this off season.
  16. This thread is devolving to the toilet. Does a thread with a solid start devolve quickly? I'm thinking radiation half-lives .. can this thread be dead by tonight? Or, in Army terms, it's never to late beat a dead horse to death again. At this point, 17 pages of carp.
  17. I believe he is very careful in his decisions. Which is good for Bills, Sabres, and whatever music label that is... He ain't lighting his cigars with c-notes.
  18. No. It shows he's an advisor (not a decider) to TP on executive decisions, like extending a GM. And TP, the geologist and billion dollar man is smart enough to consider RB advice, and blow it off when necessary. If RB were making draft decisions, player personnel decisions, select what tape the trainers use... then he's in football operations. If TP were a mindless drone who has fallen under the svengali like influence of RD... then RB is in football operations. Though I do think whomever posted the big noggin of RB in this thread has a knack for production that exceeds Q Tarrantino.
  19. Well yeah, I'll take the heat for that. But the first 10 pages of this thread was before that. I'm not into this world running by twitter...
  20. Dudes... OP link is to a unconfirmed report. This is still rumor and people are discussing it as fact. This thread is like the "jelly of the month club" the "gift that keeps on giving" (Christmas Vacation).
  21. I'm one of those 'RB is not in football ops people' (he may be a situational advisor to TP.. but that isn't allot of quan). Since the Bills org. structure clearly has RB acting as an non-football Executive (President), I'd say the onus is on the RB conspiracists to prove (instead of rant) RB has his hand in football ops.
  22. OP's intent is right. But agree with others who say current rules nullify the turnover--and that this call was blown by the officials. This is the worst year of officiating in my memory, dating back to the 1980s. How can officiating be fixed?
  23. I like that contract idea. Though, I'd make the decision date the end of Jan for obvious reasons. They could put in automatic pay adjustments like: finishing worse than 10-6, same pay next year finishing better than 10-6, you get 3% raise each playoff win in a season, you get 3% bonus (and a first round bye = win)
  24. DC Tom is fairly close in his scoffing here. But there are Federal Agencies that sustain their operations mostly on user fees....that's not exactly profits, but it is sustainment off cash flow. If I remember correctly, The Patent Office and the FDA are examples of agencies that run largely off user fees. I remember this because when I lived in DC, those employees worked through the government shutdown, because they ran off user fees. But as DC T is probably thinking, the vast majority of Federal operations are financed by congress, using make-believe money and funds fleeced from our pocket books.
