  1. Plus we are still working through the COVID bonus year stuff.
  2. I read that post with you bursting through a door all out of breath. It gave me a giggle.
  3. I have no idea where the money comes from for something like this. That tweet honestly feels like copium to keep Bills fans from losing their minds. I agree they have all day to work out a trade, but it's not for Higgins or Aiyuk or Samuel. I hope it's not anyway. Higgins is good, but he's not Batman. He's Robin. You don't pay Robin. Chase is Batman. Aiyuk is a nice player, but stud #1? I don't think so. Samuel? He's a fun player, but does he give them what they need on the outside? Plus all of these guys will be insanely expensive to keep onboard which is why they are available in the first place. They'll take a WR or two still, have them on cheap deals for 4 years and move forward.
  4. Yes, but we gave them one of our 4s in the deal, it was a swap, not an additional pick.
  5. He's already 23, was a 5th year Senior, and is raw. That should concern people. He will be 28 after his rookie deal and that makes signing a second contract difficult because the decline for WRs is pretty much a certainty past 30-31.
  6. It's not a deep draft at all. That's why they are prioritizing moving their later round picks forward. We aren't selecting additional players this year, we are just getting to pick them sooner. If it were a deep draft they'd be adding selections. Rounds 6 and 7 are basically throw aways this year. There just aren't that many guys with draftable grades this year. I wouldnt be shocked if they move down again tomorrow. I'm disappointed that they haven't been able to add an additional 3rd and have only been able to do swaps so far. Maybe tomorrow is different but I'd guess it would be another pick swap. Maybe one of the 5s to a 4 now.
  7. If Carolina wants him that badly I'll take another 3rd to drop down a spot.
  8. If he can learn that easily, why has he not learned it. Dude was a 5th year senior.
  9. The individual goal songs are a perfect symbol for this team. Individual stats, no team unity.
  10. The rink is a morgue because there is no faith. Nor should there be. The team was terrible at home for a long time this year and if they gave up the first goal they only came back to win 6 times. In January it was only once. They were something like 1-11 if they got scored on first at home at that point. They ended up 6-15. They were better at home later in the year but by that point they'd already burned any good will or hope the fans had. They need to show people they are for real before people buy back in. It's just been too long at this point. I used to get nice tickets for Sabres/Flyers games in Philly from a business associate. I've stopped asking for them. They are a waste of time. History says this nostalgia hire is a tremendous mistake. The odds of a Terry team bucking history are low.
  11. Has there ever been a situation where the second go round with a coach has been better than the first? I can't think of any off hand.
  12. I'm confused. Am I supposed to support this statement or not?
  13. Because you get invited into a really exclusive group and it puts you at the front of a very short line to get the chance to be a majority owner in the future. Jimmy Haslam was a minority owner of the Steelers before he was allowed to buy the Browns.
  14. This has happened so many more times than this with prop betting. They just haven't caught people. The only way they caught this guy is because he's such a fringe player that the betting activity was easy to spot. If it were a more popular player, for example Calvin Ridley, who already has more money placed in his props, it would be much harder to catch. Betting is out of the bag, but these prop bets need to go away. It's way too easy for an individual person to control the outcome to a prop bet on something that specific person does in a game. It's hard to fix a whole game without a conspiracy. It's easy to drop a pass to keep yourself from scoring, or from going over a specific number of catches, etc. Super easy. I realize that some will say why do it? They have so much to lose. People have problems and also get themselves into situations where they are vulnerable to outside control. That's why they do it.
  15. So, not just red helmet. Red helmet with blue facemask. It's a bold statement. That the designer couldn't understand how to have the tops and the pants have the same pattern of stripe on the side still boggles my mind. Those were absolute clown suits.
  16. Yeahhhhh, but Josh with a guy who can and will just go get the football has to be intriguing.
  17. For the record, I haven't liked Miller since the first day they signed him.
  18. All time? Not that he's a good dude by any stretch, but he's not making the bad person HoF.
