Legitimate question, have we had a male character intentionally kill a named female character yet? I think there were a couple random Wolf related killings but they were killing everyone. Has there been a situation where we have seen a male knowingly and intentionally kill a living woman yet? All the ones I can remember were Carol or Beth. I guess you could count Darryl shooting Officer Lerner in the Hospital after Beth stabbed her. Anything else? I'm aware that it's probably Glenn, I'm truly hoping it isn't because it makes the entire cliffhanger pretty pointless and all the more frustrating. Glenn has been skirting death most of the season, having him finally die would put an end to that and since we were already subjected to one Glenn death cliffhanger this season two seems tacked on even if it aligns with the comics. Having to wait 6 months for it to turn out to be Glenn is going to be pretty frustrating and ultimately anti-climactic.

At the first encounter with the Saviors Rick was told to treat all the people in the RV like it was their last day on Earth. The only one who didn't come out of the RV in the first encounter was Maggie. I'm calling it was Maggie and given that the Saviors have a ton of intel I'm also going to call that Gregory dimed them out and set Maggie up. Through observations from afar you wouldn't necessarily identify Maggie as a leader however, anyone who was at Hilltop and more specifically, Gregory certainly would. I'm also going to call Maggie because it gives them an easier out than having her lose the baby on TV because, let's be honest, that's what was about to happen.

You could make an argument for any of them. If the show really wants impact Rick, Abraham, Darryl, Carl, Michonne, Maggie, or Glenn would provide that. If they want to wiggle out (again) Eugene, Sasha, and Rosita let them off the hook to some degree. I'm going to guess it's not Carl or Rick just based on the "if anyone says anything cut out the kids other eye and feed it to his father" line. Darryl fits the bill as the guy who fired the first shot but it's really debatable if Negan knows that. You could argue Maggie because it was obvious that she was the one the entire group cared about hence schlepping her through the woods. Also it was clear she was really ill so it was unlikely she'd "produce" down the line. If Negan is a pragmatic villain he goes for Maggie as being the weakest in the group. The Hilltop people told us earlier that he killed a teeneager when he went there. Same philosophy could have applied. They're already talking about the online backlash on Talking Dead. I'm guessing people are pissed. Honestly, to do a 90 minute episode to end that way with a 6 month hiatus coming was pretty crappy. I think people would have taken it better had they not done the Glenn dumpster shenanigans earlier in the season.

It's an interesting suggestion. I've thought about the logistics of that before and the biggest hurdle I run into is time. We'd have to play somewhere else for at least a year. In order to make that work in such a way that it's not an absolutely gargantuan structure I think it be easiest to peel off the existing upper decks and go from there. The new upper decks/suite levels would be part of the new structure. Failing that you'd need to have something that spans the whole complex right now which would be really really big and since the main goal is to add revenue not shelter from weather I don't think it would meet NFL goals.

The Eagles offered a pre-paid parking pass for $350. Cash parking on game day is $40. Penn State Football is $40 on game day but you can pre-pay for the whole season for $100. Ford Field is $45. FedEx Field is 57.50. All the the Heinz Field lots on the North Side are pre-sold...the caveat there is the same as it would be in Buffalo. If you're willing to walk, you can park for $5 in the Golden Triangle and walk across the bridge. If the Bills put a stadium downtown be assured the stadium lots will be pricey but because there are so many other lots and places to park in a reasonable radius you'll be able to find a cheap spot somewhere within a 20 minute walk which is basically the distance some people walk to RWS now. The other thing you see is something that happens in Philly all the time, local establishments that are slightly too far to walk will offer shuttles to and from their lot to the stadium area. I guess what I'm getting at is if you don't want to spend 40/50 bucks to park you'll find a way not to. Hell, I'm sure the Casino will figure out some sort of promo where they'll comp you the parking back in slot dollars just to get you to come in after the game.

The way the game is evolving you are basically required to pass effectively to be successful. They hardly call offensive holding, QBs can't be abused really at all, PI almost always favors the offense, the defense can't touch receivers anymore, you can't kill people on crossing patterns, chop blocks on running plays have been eliminated, WR crackbacks have been eliminated, etc. The league WANTS you to pass. Building a stadium where we can eliminate the wind as an issue only helps the team be more competitive in the NFL of the future. Force field.

So there was a 120k SF commerical space available in an actual historic building all along. Who knew. We're going to look back at the day Bass Pro decided against building at Canalside as the best thing that ever happened. If they park the new stadium down on Ohio St it's a short spur to add on. If they stick it in between the arena and the casino (like they should) it will fit right in. FWIW, in that scenario I fully advocate having an elevated playing surface so the grid can remain intact underneath. The streets can be closed to traffic on game days. Having the building itself be a part of the city grid system opens up a lot more possibilities during the rest of the non-football season rather than having an isolated barn surrounded by a moat of parking.

I realize the coach kept his starters in and this beatdown was way worse than my example but in some circumstances there's not much you can do. I had a game with my middle school girls this year which was for 3rd place in our conference. The girls had lost the previous week (in ugly meltdown fashion) which kept them out of the championship game. They were pissed at themselves and they took it out on the team we played the following week. It was 22-2 at halftime the other team's 2 came as the buzzer went off to end the 2nd quarter. They went on to win 38-7. All 9 girls played more than a quarter and my best 3 players sat basically the entire second half. We didn't press at all the entire game but they defended in the half court really really well and forced a ton of turnovers. By the middle of the 3rd quarter the whole bench is in and they're still killing them defensively. What do you say to them? "Girls I know you've practiced hard all year and you play a lot less than the other girls and even though this is your chance to play a lot of minutes in a game don't try too hard to score and let them get a couple baskets."?? The current lease runs until 2022, It will be interesting to see what football participation numbers look like by then. High School numbers are down almost 3% nationwide and Pop Warner was down more than that. Now, what would make sense would be if when the redhead radioed out for help that the satellite base had fallen the person she spoke to was a relay who then passed word back to home base. The limited range of the walkie talkies was implied with the conversation about static in the transmission and the Negan group is well coordinated enough to have thought of that. I need to go back and re-watch the scene where they were in transit to the safehouse where she was on the radio. IIRC the radio didn't answer her, she was communicating out about others not following protocols and telling the listener what channel to be on, then she switched channels to talk to her immediate backup. That would put the actual Negan in much closer proximity. Also, we never got a good explanation about the female Wolf zombie who was tied up in the woods. Spencer? Negan? Random? In retrospect it doesn't seem to be in the Wolves M.O. to do that - they were all about killing immediately. In regards to who dies, if we use the comics as a guide there are some immediate suspects, Abraham and Glenn immediately come to mind. But remember, Judith died at the prison in the comics, Carol killed herself at the prison as well (and was WAY less of a bad-ass), Morgan died when Alexandria was over-run by zombies, and Daryl doesn't exist. Eliminating any of them realigns with the books.
