  1. Douglas, Oliver & Martin. I'm also giving a game ball to Taron Johnson - he consistently makes several big plays each game.
  2. Spencer Brown's best play was recovering Josh's fumble. I give game balls to Elam (INT and key PBU) and Singletary (GW First Down).
  3. I will go with Hines. Bills will use screen plays to Hines (or Cook) to negate Judon's pass rush.
  4. Jordan Phillips and the other D-lineman will have Wilson seeing ghosts. I single out Jordan Phillips for his 2+ sacks
  5. Moss. There are some good reasons not to trade Moss as other have mentioned. One reason to trade Moss is that he is likely inactive game days many weeks (assuming Cook pans out as expected). If Beane can get good value for Moss (5th round or higher draft choice), he might make that trade
  6. If the Bills' front office likes Blackshear enough, they might try to trade Moss for some improved depth at OL or for future draft choice. I like Moss, but I don't think he will get much playing time behind Singletary and Cook.
  7. AJ Epeneza - 2 sacks, one late in the 4th quarter - sack, fumble - Bills recover - game over!
  8. Excellent read - thanks for writing this. I'm hoping the Bills defense comes up big again against a much stronger offensive team.
  9. Mix in some defensive sets using our depth at D-line and play 5 at a time bringing extra pressure up the middle. Also mix in corner/safety blitzes. Agree with others on not allowing Kelce a free release - need to impact the timing of his routes.
  10. The D-Line and LBs played with discipline to contain Lamar - well done!
  11. That was a sweep, not with a broom, but a bulldozer!
  12. Great write up as usual Shaw. Like others have said, I look forward to your posts after each game. One additional thought - the Bill's offense was not at full strength yesterday, missing Knox, Moss, and John Brown (for much of the game)! That really speaks to team depth and the maturation of Josh to utilize the players on the field without missing a beat. It was great to see Gabriel Davis fill a bigger role yesterday - he's looking great for a 4th round rookie.
  13. That is very good news! These two guys are really important for this defense.
  14. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the PS has increased from 12 to 16 players, and 4 players are protected. This would allow for low round draft (or younger) players that have potential but aren't ready to be stashed. I could see Hodgkins, Fromm, D. Jackson, and maybe even Bass as protected PS players.
  15. I think we beat the Patriots, but lose to the Refs at Gillette.
  16. Like many others, I do not view this as a lost season. For me this year was all about development of Josh Allen (and to some extent for Tremaine Edmunds as well). I'm exited about the future of the Bills with Josh Allen as the franchise QB. I've also enjoyed watching him play this year even when the end result was a loss. I also like the way our defense has played. I think we are a good draft and a few key FA players away from contending for the playoffs in 2019.
  17. I have been really impressed with the play of Matt Milano this year. I'm actually surprised his stats (as good as they are) aren't even better.
