That was the most insane final drive play calling I've seen in years. 42 seconds on the clock with 4th&5. You have 3 time outs and an old but still solid QB in Russel Wilson. With that he chose to attempt a 64 yard field goal? After killing 25 seconds in clock more or less. If anything line up a formation at 40 seconds, and if you plan to waste time at least try a hard count. Then after taking the ball out of their highly paid QB's hands they miss an absurd FG to which Hackett gets "revenge?" by calling 2 timeouts randomly in the last 15 seconds. WTF

Can anyone explain to me why the Bills "should of" contacted the plaintiff? What information would they actually glean from it? Obviously her lawyer is going to claim Araiza is the scumbag who did so regardless of the truth of the matter. Additionally depending on how Araiza's side framed the allegations; the Bills may have deemed it more or less a frivolous lawsuit based on hearsay. (Not in so much regard that she wasn't raped as much as Araiza not being involved) After all the Bills aren't the police and since the police hadn't begun any investigation why would the Bills feel the need to investigate something the cops weren't?

People need to understand cutting Araiza isn't that simple in regards to the NFLPA. My guess is they wait until Kern or another punter comes available and then they just swap him out.

Exactly what it sounds like.... what do you want him to do; go all Rex Ryan and start spouting nonsense? He's obviously distressed over the situation, and he is not in any position to take sides due to the potential fallout regardless.

I'm guessing Araiza's agent and he gave a far more mild interpretation of what happened and the Bills PI saw the cops were sitting on it and signed off on it being a likely non-factor. Then all this info comes out and McD, who seemed to really like Araiza, suddenly has a bombshell drop on him that those allegations that seemed unlikely may have actually been true and that the kid he's been working with and getting close with might very well be a despicable person who raped an underaged girl. It's that betrayal that is a huge gut punch.

Here's a thought, to avoid the NFLPA problem, just wait until Tennessee cuts Kern and sign him. Then you can just give a good BS answer to keep the NFLPA off our back too.

The NFL can't suspend him but the NFLPA can go after the Bills because he is currently a player in the NFL on an NFL contract and as such a member of the PA. The Cutting would be now, not back then.

I wonder if the NFLPA is also involved with the whole issue. If they cut him; the NFLPA would file a grievance since its a Civil Lawsuit not a Criminal Case

So the Bills are trusting the lawyer and their player over an accuser which isn't a huge surprise. Haack wasn't good so him being cut wasn't really a huge indication. To be honest it feels as if guilty or not; the supposed victim definitely has an ax to grind with Matt but whether its for legitimate reasons remains to be seen.

Well this certainly isn't good; although is she angling for money due to the fear of not winning a criminal case? Seeing as a civil case is easier to achieve restitution with than a criminal case. Why was his college sitting on it for 10 months? Well, I guess we should start working out some more punters.

What I'd say is Allen has the potential and can be scarier than any other QB in the league due to the fact that at his best he can personally wreck a defense between throwing and running like no other. Allen has the Fullback-esc size over Mahomes.

I believe players either receive a hat from every team they visit or the camera crew brings 1 from every team.

Based on his interviews he probably couldn't of made him more attractive to McBeane if started yelling "Process" when he walked in the door. He sounds like a guy who has a bit of tweaking needed but a ton of raw attributes and a good head on his shoulders. While the trade up might of been a tad drastic; I'll take getting the guy I want over getting conservative and missing out. The likelihood of pick 25 + our 4th being more valuable to this team than Elam is rather slim. For all we know someone tried to trade up with Baltimore with a 26 or 27 and their 5th and the Bills merely upped it enough to win.

I think you have to look at it this way, yes Frasier made 2 bad calls but it ends up both on the players and the coach. If Farwell was told to kick it short and somehow failed to make sure that all 11 players got the message then that’s almost entirely on him. He has arguably the smallest number of players to keep informed on every ST play and yet he somehow failed to give his kicker the play

Not really interested in any of them with their present situations. Toney scares me as why would he be on the block after 1 year aside from major red flags. Barkley’s contract is too big and he’s constantly hurt. He hasn’t even looked great since last year pre-injury. Bradberry I’d take if he’s released by the Giants. Keep his cap hit sub 9mil though seeing as he’d be CB2
