  1. I find defensive backs difficult to evaluate. Partly due to broadcast angles, partly because I'm not coverage-savvy enough to 'know' the calls. Best guess stuff. Literally took me 3 plays to fall for Lattimore. The length, the feet, the ball skills. Jaw-dropping stuff.
  2. He's aggressive coming forward but I agree that he's not the feisty type in coverage. I think he's the most complete athlete in the CB class but man, he's gotta learn to find the ball consistently. Still love him and wouldn't flinch at him with the 10th pick.
  3. OT Storm Norton, DT Treyvon Hester & FS DeJuan Rogers are the other NFL-possible players on show. I kinda like Hester as a 3-Tech as a UDFA.
  4. This is something that the Bills Wire Slack group has been talking about for a while now. I'm on the No side of OJ in the first (or any TE for that matter). Rob is much more adamant on him as an elite prospect - http://billswire.usatoday.com/2017/03/20/2017-nfl-draft-4-reasons-buffalo-bills-take-oj-howard/ In a really deep TE class and with Clay already under a hefty contract, I can't bring myself to be a fan of it. 1st round TE's over the past decade don't have a great success rate. Even the best TE prospect in that time was a 2nd rounder. With safety, it's kinda the same deal. Incredibly deep class so is it really bang for your buck to take Hooker at 10 if you can get an Evans and Thompson in later rounds? I'm not against Hooker/Adams at 10 but I love others in the class as much as them.
  5. This is the correct answer. Josh Doctson lite.
  6. Likewise. 26/34 but that's two of my final 8 kaput already. Turns out the "I've heard of Seton Hall" tactic - not that smart
  7. If Andre Holmes precludes us from drafting Corey Davis, the FO needs a good slap.
  8. You mentioned Dilfer and winning in the NFL without including this gem? For shame!! https://vine.co/v/OK5TtYVmZ7b/embed/simple
  9. Listenbee actually had a better deep ball thrower in Trevone Boykin. I still like the Listenbee pick. He was a shot to nothing in the 6th and he ran sub 4.4 while still recovering from double hernia surgery. He could be that volatile element vertically. Tyreek Hill did wonders for the WCO in KC.
  10. Only did the one bracket, currently 18/24. Three of the games I got wrong have been one-score defeats.
  11. I don't like Damond but he does work closely with small school guys. Holmes was a D2 player from Hillsdale so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt that he has some connections to him.
  12. I think you'll find that $13.5m you quoted is all guaranteed.
  13. You're starting to see why they plugged the plug on that hell hole. The art of friendly discourse is dead to many of them.
  14. You raise a compelling point, my good man.
  15. Got a 2nd round grade on him. Best pure FS in this draft not called Malik Hooker. If they want him to drop to the 5th, so be it.
  16. DeShawn Shead is a corner.......
  17. He wasn't going to be ready for Week 1 anyway, more than likely.
  18. That's where I've got Evans graded. True center fielder because he can't tackle for love nor money but I can teach that. Can't teach his instincts vs the pass. Same boat as Tedric Thompson from Colorado.
  19. I may have worked the board a little bit. Nothing crazy, moving down no more than half a dozen spots at any one time. Round 1 Pick 10: Reuben Foster, ILB, Alabama (A) Round 2 Pick 16 (MINN): DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame (A) Round 3 Pick 14 (BALT): Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State (A) Round 3 Pick 22 (MINN): Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee (A+) Round 4 Pick 16 (BALT): Justin Evans, FS, Texas A&M (A) Round 5 Pick 14 (IND): Corey Levin, OG, Chattanooga (D+) Round 5 Pick 27: Tanner Vallejo, ILB, Boise State (F) Round 6 Pick 11: KD Cannon, WR, Baylor (C+) Round 7 Pick 1 (S.F.): Andreas Knappe, OT, Connecticut (D+)
  20. Because at this time of the year, not every contract structure has been announced. Spotrac and OverTheCap can only add what is known.
  21. If they didn't just invest a fully-guaranteed one-year deal in Luke Joeckel, I'd suggest packaging Cyrus into the deal.
  22. His contract would be a 2-year, $22.431m deal after a trade. I'd consider that pretty decent value for who he is and his experience in a Cover 3 defense. The question is; does he want an extension as part of any trade?
  23. If they bring in anyone as a UDFA from UB, I hope it's Brandon Crawford. Fits McDermott's DE profile to a tee and I have an appreciation for him that I can't articulate properly. Heard Schreck was going to the Lions for a pre-draft visit so maybe a 7th rounder or priority FA.
  24. My sister bats for the other team. She asked for advice on picking up women and I gave her some as it's clearly my specialist subject. I believe she's been single since that moment.
  25. When you put it like that.......
