  1. Nolen did not run. I’m kind of projecting that his RAS would have been high enough by watching him play. I don’t mean to say he will be this player, but his early career production was very close to Dexter Lawrence. Lawrence was an A+ athlete too and we don’t have that for Williams though his 10 and 20 yard splits before he fell down were VERY good and he was on track to a good RAS as well. For this class, I would have him just below Nolen and Harmon and think he could be a better pro than college player.
  2. Sorry if the title is a bit misleading. This is more of a focus on which players have the most favorable pre-draft backgrounds to becoming great players than us drafting a ton of DTs. As it relates to the Bills roster construction, in 2024 and 2023 they had 6 DTs play at least 7 games each year. In 2022, that was only 4. Imo, the only DTs guaranteed a spot are Ed and Carter. Ogunjobi and especially Jones have money tied up in them but are cutable if needed. So Id say they can draft and retain 2 DTs pretty easily especially if they keep 5 on the roster.
  3. Grant and Phillips do not meet either and I personally would stay away early Collins could not test so is incomplete. From watching him I would like him as a pick like I do the above 7 No matter what
  4. I went through all DTs selected to the All-pro team and/or Pro Bowl from 2013-2025 to see if I could find any similarities in their background pre-draft. In that timeframe 37 different players were selected. Of that group 25 (67%) of the individuals selected met one of the two following criteria. However, since many of the players were nominated multiple times, those who hit this criteria made up over 82% of the total selections. Production: At least 5 sacks recorded in a single college season by their true Junior year AND a RAS greater than 7 Speed: A Sub 5.0 40 and/or a sub 1.7 10 yard split while weighing more than 295 pounds So who meets these criteria in this draft class? Production: Josh Farmer, Florida State CJ West, Indiana Walter Nolen, Ole Miss* Tyleik Williams, Ohio State* Speed: Derrick Harmon, Oregon Darius Alexander, Toldeo TJ Sanders, South Carolina CJ West, Indiana Commentary: The most important factor in success is obviously draft capital. So in this class and past draft classes, I focused on those drafted by the end of day 2. First, what a DT class this is! The previous record for DTs who met one of these criteria was 5 players each in 2019 and 2018 (8 of those 10 are making over 10 million per year on their current contracts). Now there are obviously players who succeed that didn’t meet those criteria so scouting is still needed. But for your best shot at finding a star, this is the group to focus on in my opinion. * = no RAS ^ = small school prospect
  5. Amos has 31.25 inch arms, Hairston has 31 (tho his weight may be too light for the Bills)
  6. Bills had him in for a 30 visit so he at least has that prerequisite
  7. Id be shocked if AZ Thomas isn’t one of the 7 unreported ones, they’ve basically had cb 3-10 aside from him
  8. Darian Porter visited per 55:50 in on this interview he did
  9. yea still don’t like it
  10. So we took two 1-techs and moved our late second for an early third and to make our early 4th a late third and our late fifth a fourth?…. Hopefully next version goes better
  11. I adore Ricky White. If he was just a little bigger he would have skyrocketed up my rankings (I initially had him top 10 prior to his weigh ins). McMillan def is but I think Ayomanor, Harris, Horton, and Golden can all be #1 types. I think Burden and Higgins can in the right settings. I like the middle of this class a lot, but the top is definitely lower than say last years class
  12. I think Hairston shoulder injury held back his tackling this year. He was much more involved in 2023. Though a 180 pound corner who is tentative due to injuries is it’s own can of worms.
  13. very small sample size for Porter tho, that’s the most concerning part
  14. The rumor was this was going to be a small invitee pool…guess not
  15. My personal 2025 WR rankings: 1. Tet McMillan, Arizona 2. Elic Ayomanor, Stanford 3. Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State 4. Tre Harris, Ole Miss 5. Luther Burden, Mizzou 6. Tory Horton, CSU 7. Matthew Golden, Texas 8. Jayden Higgins, ISU 9. Jaylin Royals, USU 10. Jack Bech, TCU 11. Kyle Williams, WSU 12. Jaylin Noel, ISU/Elijah Badger, Florida 13. Donte Thornton, Tennessee 14. Isaiah Bond, Texas 15. Tai Felton, Maryland 16. Nick Nash, SJSU 17. Pat Bryant, Illinois 18. Keandre Lambert Smith, Auburn 19. Xavier Restrepo, Miami 20. Savion Williams, TCU 21. Tez Johnson, Oregon 22. Ricky White, UNLV 23. Jaylin Lane, VT 24. Andrew Armstrong, Arkansas My Personal 2025 best Bills fits: *Assuming McMillan, Golden, and Egbuka are gone 1. Tory Horton: Draft Capital, speed and punt return ability 2. Tre Harris: Prototype X that allows Keon to share time at X and slot. Deep threat. 3. Kyle Williams: Game breaking speed from all alignments 4. Jack Bech: Mack Hollins replacement as a WR/TE hybrid 5. Elic Ayomanor - Prototype X and excellent blocker but more raw than the Bills may have patience to develop 6. Luther Burden: a bit redundant to Shakir, but the talent is so overwhelming you make it fit 7. Dont’e Thornton: 4.3 speed Deep ball threat 8. Jaylin Noel: vertical slot player with both kick and punt return experience 9. Jaylin Royals: YAC threat who can be a menace as the singled up receiver in the Bills 4x1 sets 10. Ricky White: blocked 4 punts, plays punt coverage, and can play all roles at WR in a pinch Bonus: Monaray Baldwin (Baylor): 4.32 speed, will be a UDFA, will come with a recommendation from Dave Aranda to Sean McDermott Thank you to all that have enjoyed. Ready to welcome one of these players to the team in 2 weeks. Go Bills!
  16. I’ll take v1.0 over 2.0
  17. Beane was at the South Carolina Pro Day and now we are having TJ Sanders in for a 30 visit. That is quite a bit of interest.
  18. Yea I’ve come to appreciate that weight is important for receivers. That he hasn’t played at that higher weight is an unknown so I listed it as a weakness. But from all accounts he took his rehab extremely seriously, added the weight to his frame, and kept his speed. Very exciting. Yea tomorrow I will put out my list of best Bills fits of the WRs and Tory will be VERY high on it. I love him. Unfortunately the buzz is getting loud as we get closer to the draft so hopefully he remains in range for the Bills
  19. Yea I’m much higher on Harris than most including a lot of the draft guys I respect 😬 Much better than Coleman in my humble opinion. But I do worry about his injuries.
  20. The real draft won’t fall this way. With all Bills fans running teams, we tend to overvalue Bills associated prospects and gut the board. But I do love me some Tre Harris…
  21. My personal 2025 WR rankings: #1 Terairoa McMillan WR Arizona (Round 1) - 5 star HS recruit - Over 2700 yards in past two seasons What does he do on film? Special player - 1:24 filthy whip route for a 6’4’’ Receiver. Looks like Julio Jones with the way he sunk his hips - 4:43 he did it again! - 3:37 great job repositioning himself on the underthrown ball against two defenders. Played to his size - 13:40 - 14:40 just 1 minute straight of McMillan schooling Travis Hunter - 14:53 splitting the deep zone for a spectacular catch - 17:05 swipes away the attempted jam, quickly hits the slant for a first - 21:41 slows down to stay in the perfect hole in the zone. When he has a run way those long strides eat up a lot of ground! - 24:43 very impressed by his feel in zone coverage. It’s going to be so crucial to him at the next level to dominate the center of the field like this - 26:01 looks like a grown up playing 500 in the backyard with his kids Weaknesses: - He is not explosive, his top speed isn’t bad but it take him time to get there - Inconsistent in how physical he plays - No special YAC ability limits short route effectiveness Conclusion: There is no other choice, McMillan is a star. If he isn’t the first WR off the board this year, the team that passes on him will regret it. Excellent feel vs zone, difficult to shadow in intermediate routes and then too big downfield or in the red zone to stop. McMillan does need to be a bit more consistent in both his tenacity and hand placement downfield. But I think we will see notable improvement in his yards after catch in the NFL when he is paired with a better QB. I’m looking forward to seeing his professional career
  22. A’zareye’h Thomas, third from the bottom
  23. WR has been pretty light and should be heavily listed in the poll imo Tre Harris has been mentioned, Bills had a 30 visit with Jalen Royals, Jaylin Noel has many fans on the board (idt he has been taken), I like Elic Ayomanor. Probably comes down to DLine or WR with the board this way. Beane was at the South Carolina pro day so they may be interested in DE Kyle Kennard as well as TJ Sanders (or he just missed sweet Carolina and went for the day)
