  1. I still remember the day they said he wasn’t at OTAs and I said “who?”
  2. yea in this thread there is a weird combination of people trying to take a victory lap on their pre-draft takes already and fans trying to cope with how thin our WR room is by saying “see if we drafted him he wouldn’t be any help anyway.” I thought Franklin was a good player on tape and think he will figure things out eventually. If he doesn’t, congrats to everyone else I guess?
  3. Yea I think a kicker added to the PS post cut down is guaranteed. Narverson had a good preseason, maybe a veteran kicker comes available too I think it will need to happen in game unfortunately
  4. Thought Shavers did well making a few catches, getting wide open in the end zone for an overthrown pass, fighting a ton as the gunner on special teams. Deon Cain looked like a useful player on quick screens but I doubt he makes even the PS, Darynton Evans played well until he got hurt (like every preseason), Hardy had good coverage on a few plays and handled the kickoff and some punt returns (likely he makes the roster imo), TeCory Couch had a few nice special teams plays and decent coverage think he may make the PS. Hamler and Davidson made some plays and both probably are PS guys. For the bad, our depth isn’t the same as years past except 2nd team OL and corner. But most important Bass missed a 51 yarder and had a penalty by not kicking the ball to the right area on the new kickoff. Special teams in general wasn’t great.
  5. Eventually it happens. But think of all the times those teams stumbled trying to get out of their own way. It’s hard to break the cycle and I’m not sure the combination of Rogers, Saleh, and Johnson are up for it. But that roster is talented if everything goes right they could win the division.
  6. Depends on Rodgers and the Jets because they are talented. It’s hard for a dysfunctional franchise to stop being dysfunctional. I can’t see the Dolphins beating us for the division. Their DL is pretty rough with Wilkins gone and their DE injuries.
  7. Yea it’s not great. Though from his rookie year and last preseason you would not have guessed Bernard was going to play as well as he did. Even Dotson looks bad in preseason and played pretty well in season. Milano has been such a great player when he is healthy for us and I hope he gets back this year, but the rebuild is continuing on the fly this year. Time for young players to fill in and hopefully excel like the stalwarts we have lost this offseason.
  8. This will make Brandon Perna happy
  9. He has picked off Mahomes 5 times, the next closest player has 2.
  10. Bates is now the starting kicker in Detroit after the incumbent got injured a few days ago.
  11. raiders WR Michael Gallup https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40627611/raiders-wr-michael-gallup-retires-nfl-six-seasons too bad for Gallup. Same draft class as Josh. I remember hoping the Bills would draft him as he and Josh had a nice connection during the senior bowl game. went to the cowgirls and played well enough to get a second contract. Tore his ACL which zapped his athleticism and he never really bounced back, truly the not for long league.
  12. Im sure we care more about it than McD or Beane does, but that was my first thought too. Don’t give Dunne any fodder. Though the Bills did go on a nice winning streak after the hit piece was published so maybe it’s just Beane trying to improve the team by any means necessary lol
  13. The Ravens have Justin Tucker and are hosting a visit with Jake Bates who had a very good season kicking in the UFL. I know Bass got his new contract but would be nice to see someone else compete with him this summer
  14. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-te-receiving-yards-by-a-player-buffalo-bills-in-a-season second most all time…it is a rough list. Scott Chandler may be the most prolific receiving tight end in Bills history at this point. Kincaid is going to rock this year
  15. Fay Abbott from the 1920s https://www.pro-football-reference.com/schools/high_schools.cgi?id=93b81ef1
  16. So ten game suspension for Reshee Rice then?
  17. Netflix live broadcasts have had issues on much less popular events than NFL games. Let’s see if they will be ready this time…
  18. He is what he is. Will catch half his targets for a 16-17 yards average and 400-600 yards. It’s not great but it’s better than last years WR4. A fine 1 year rental at this stage of the offseason.
  19. Think he announces his retirement at his softball game like others have suggested. Kinda think we are done adding players at safety. Edwards, Rapp and Bishop will be the main guys back there this year. I think the cap space we come into on 6/1 will be used in-season (injury replacements, trade deadline acquisition) rather than to add another safety
  20. It would be great if KJ did well enough to make the roster. Based on investment, he is below Shakir, Coleman, Samuel, Hollins and Shorter. He is in that group with Shavers, Isabella, Cephus basically fighting for one open spot or to knock Shorter out. And that’s without us signing a more established FA at some point, or only keeping 5 WRs on the roster if we go heavier packages and wanted to keep a promising OLineman. Basically, low odds he makes the 53 at all, and even lower odds he is the speed threat teams worry about for the Bills. Prove me wrong KJ.
  21. Totally get why the Bills liked Keon now. Impressive interview. Hoping it works out on the field for him too
  22. Tackled Legette one on one for a loss in the middle of those highlights
  23. What if we have Josh who makes players better and surrounded him with better players 🤯
  24. yea Chark is the best guy left out there. Add him and one more vet that has actually produced in the league (OBJ, Boyd, Renfrow, etc) and I’ll feel better about WR for this year. I do not want Justin Shorter or Mack Hollins as next man up
