  1. Don’t forget that Josh McDaniels ran Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler out of town in Denver. Waller may be shot but maybe getting away from McDaniel will make him feel better
  2. Nice video as usual by Cover 1. McGovern had some nice reps against some very good DTs in that video
  3. I still think it would be unwise to give up an asset for him (in addition to being incredulous he would willingly take a massive pay cut to be traded). He is most likely going to be cut by the Vikings as they will save about $8 million off the cap if they cut him if I understand it right.
  4. Nooooo. Beane resist your urge to invest money and draft picks in RB! If he is cut then a cheap signing would make sense but don’t give up assets and big salary for Dalvin. Just keep the pick and get a young player in a great running back draft class to backup James.
  5. Goodbye Tremaine, you were good just not great Poles is obv a Bills fan trying to take Bates last year and getting Tremaine this year. Hope they keeping adding OL for Fields beyond Nate Davis
  6. Plays all three interior lineman positions. It’s a good start.
  7. I’d be pretty surprised if David Edwards from the Rams is not a Bill with his familiarity with Kromer. Nate Davis is another player who may be had for less due to injuries but has been improving when he has played. Kromer and Davis’ ex OL Coach (Keith Carter) both have that McVay background. Another guy Sportrac is projecting at 10 mil a year but I would be surprised if he got that much is Evan Brown of the Lions who held down the Center position in 2021, and the RG position in 2022 (both times due to injuries to the starter). He did well in the gap scheme Detroit runs which Kromer does well with. Also was ranked top 10 in pass blacking by PFF last year. Good year to sign a FA guard and draft interior OL.
  8. If we need to replace Poyer, I think Nick Scott of the Rams and Juan Thornhill of the Chiefs would be good, lower cost veterans.
  9. Just draft a young cheap running back later in the draft in a stacked class please. Williams is not that good, Dan Campbell just committed a lot of plays to him last year, especially around the goal line.
  10. Good for Frank. Not getting saddled with retread QBs like he did in Indy after Luck. Get the guy you want most, hope you picked right. Id guess it will be Young.
  11. Please don’t. Virgil runs a TSW draft each year where the board picks who the Bills select. Last year we selected 1. Trent McDuffie 2. Kenneth Walker 3. John Metchie All three players who were gone prior to our picks in real life.
  12. Dee Winters TCU LB also said he met with Bills at the senior bowl https://buffalowdown.com/2023/02/17/nfl-draft-dee-winters-buffalo-bills-senior-bowl/amp/ Steve Avila G TCU, Justin Ford CB Montana, Keidron Smith CB Kentucky, and Mikel Jones LB Cuse all also were reported to have meetings: https://nfltraderumors.co/2023-nfl-draft-visit-tracker/
  13. Aaron is still good but the Jets are not going to get him for free. Probably a few young players and picks would be GBs asking price.
  14. You don’t draft a blocking TE at 27. Or even day 2. In fact stay away from TE in round 1 all together. When was the last first round TE that was really good for the team that drafted him?….Heath Miller?
  15. Michael Mayer plays like a stud but is slower and stubbier (31 and 5/8 arms, 9 and 1/2 inch hands) than the Bills seem to like. He is probably a first round pick in this draft which historically are not good investments for the drafting team. Disappointed that Dalton Kincaid has a “tiny” fracture in his back that kept him out. He is likely going to fall behind some of these others where he was probably the TE2 before. Musgrave looked great and very explosive but never really produced in college and had a season ending injury this year. He may be the first TE drafted but definitely a risk. Zach Kuntz looked phenomenal. Enormous, athletic, good receiver. He had a great year of production in 2021 but is another player who had a season ending injury this year. He may be a second round pick now and is someone to consider at that point. Tucker Kraft is another good talent coming off an injury riddled season. Dude is built thick and is awesome after the catch and was used effectively on sweeps. The testing showed someone more explosive than fast which is probably right. I think he would be an awesome compliment to Knox probably in the third round. Darnell Washington is an enormous human. Intimidating. Pretty agile for his size but not explosive and isn’t gonna give a ton of playmaking. But heck of a blocker and will catch what comes to him. I’m not sure where he will go but it is probably going to be too soon imo. Sam LaPorta is another TE I think the Bills will target in Rd3. Was pretty effective at operating out wide which you won’t see a ton out of this class. Good after the catch too. May have more in the tank too as Iowas offense was terrible this year. To your point this is a great TE class from a talent perspective. Injuries are the main concern. I think Musgrave in the second or Laporta, Kuntz or Kraft in the third would be amazing for the Bills. Especially LaPorta! Mayer, Kincaid or even Washington would be good additions if you can get them at the right draft capital too. Yea I don’t mind the speed because he has shown he can get open. But his small arms and hands attached to that drop rate have me off of him for the Bills now.
  16. Addison would still be ok and a fine late first rounder, he isn’t slow on tape and is a good route runner already I can’t compare anyone to Tyreek but he is explosive. He had a 25 yard play in all but one of his games this season. Jayden Reed is another smaller WR who would be excellent here (and he played well in snow games and returns punts so Beane should like that).
  17. Addison would be the pick but he will be gone by then The best option after that would be to trade down. If not, Darnell Wright from Tennessee
  18. Washington nah, but I think you are right that Beane is hinting towards a TE early in the draft.
  19. I think it will be hard to bring in two high priced OL FA. Best we probably can hope for is one and it will probably be a guard since their contracts are lower than comparable talent OT. I don’t think Beane wants to be done with Spencer Brown either. As far as the draft goes, I think it is probably gonna get weird as the high end talent is minimal and some of the best players are at lesser valued positions. I think we see Will Levis, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson and CJ stroud (in that order) all wind up as first rounder QBs as teams don’t feel like they are passing on high end talent elsewhere to take them. WRs I think we will get the top ones off the board relatively early and then a gap before the next tier starts to go. If I had to guess Quentin Johnson, Addison, Zay Flowers and Jalen Hyatt will go in the first. Tyler Scott will be the 4th or 5th WR off the board. WR to me is a much weaker class than years prior tho I do like several projected later round guys more than those who went that time last year. Tight end is another low position value but higher talent level in this draft than we have seen in recent years. Kincaid, Mayer, Musgrave, Washington, Kuntz. OC and OG I think the Bills certainly can get a 3-4 round guy who could be a good starter eventually. Broeker, Braeden Daniels, Levengood, Forsyth. Actually like this class very much. OT is weaker but again their will be players that could start over Spencer Brown if they go that way early enough in the draft. Running back may be the deepest position in the draft but again, such low value. Pass on Bijan Robinson even if he is there at 27. I think it’s a pretty solid class all around for the defensive positions. If you need a good player in round 2 or 3 there will be one there regardless of if they are a CB, S, DL, LB. But overall the high end guys are pretty limited imo to a few DL players. It certainly is going to be an interesting offseason. Once FA comes and goes we may have a better idea of what the Bills will do but my recommendation to them is to trade back since the strength of many positions the Bills need are in the day 2 and 3.
  20. Frazier was an excellent regular season DC. Was baffling how he couldn’t adapt to playoffs letting teams and especially corners play more physically. Let’s hope we get an improvement. Good luck to Leslie whatever he does next.
  21. I wouldn’t give Gabe away but he is a WR3 not a WR2. If you can get a third or better for him on the last year of his deal I probably take it. Parlay that into a rookie on a four year contract that you think can be a WR3 or better. I like Shakir too, but we need more than Diggs and Shakir. Kumerows spot should be given to a cheap rookie. He is 31, was injured most the year, and his value is in being a special teams gunner. We are a good team, there is no doubt about it and I’m thankful for that but doesn’t mean we should settle for mediocrity anywhere on the roster should always be looking to improve.
  22. Diggs, Gabe and Shakir are the only ones you hold onto. And if you can get something decent for Gabe you do it IMO
  23. Normally I would agree with you my friend. But it’s a weak class overall, and especially at tackle. Paris Johnson will go ahead of him. Skoronski will too tho he may wind up at Guard eventually in his career. Then Anton Harrison, Broderick Jones or Jaelyn Duncan could be first rounders too. In the last 5 years, there has been an average of more than 4 OTs taken in the first round. I think this is the year someone as polished as him can make it towards the backend of round one ahead of Duncan and Harrison even tho he will only be a RT. Combine should shed some more light on who has the chance at going in the first as well.
