Depends on Rodgers and the Jets because they are talented. It’s hard for a dysfunctional franchise to stop being dysfunctional. I can’t see the Dolphins beating us for the division. Their DL is pretty rough with Wilkins gone and their DE injuries.

Matt Milano had surgery for "significant bicep injury", out indefinitely
LEBills replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea it’s not great. Though from his rookie year and last preseason you would not have guessed Bernard was going to play as well as he did. Even Dotson looks bad in preseason and played pretty well in season. Milano has been such a great player when he is healthy for us and I hope he gets back this year, but the rebuild is continuing on the fly this year. Time for young players to fill in and hopefully excel like the stalwarts we have lost this offseason. -
This will make Brandon Perna happy

He has picked off Mahomes 5 times, the next closest player has 2. -

Bates is now the starting kicker in Detroit after the incumbent got injured a few days ago. -
raiders WR Michael Gallup https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40627611/raiders-wr-michael-gallup-retires-nfl-six-seasons too bad for Gallup. Same draft class as Josh. I remember hoping the Bills would draft him as he and Josh had a nice connection during the senior bowl game. went to the cowgirls and played well enough to get a second contract. Tore his ACL which zapped his athleticism and he never really bounced back, truly the not for long league.

The Ravens have Justin Tucker and are hosting a visit with Jake Bates who had a very good season kicking in the UFL. I know Bass got his new contract but would be nice to see someone else compete with him this summer

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-te-receiving-yards-by-a-player-buffalo-bills-in-a-season second most all time…it is a rough list. Scott Chandler may be the most prolific receiving tight end in Bills history at this point. Kincaid is going to rock this year

Marquez Valdes-Scantling meeting with the Bills (UPDATE: Signed)
LEBills replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is what he is. Will catch half his targets for a 16-17 yards average and 400-600 yards. It’s not great but it’s better than last years WR4. A fine 1 year rental at this stage of the offseason. -
Think he announces his retirement at his softball game like others have suggested. Kinda think we are done adding players at safety. Edwards, Rapp and Bishop will be the main guys back there this year. I think the cap space we come into on 6/1 will be used in-season (injury replacements, trade deadline acquisition) rather than to add another safety

It would be great if KJ did well enough to make the roster. Based on investment, he is below Shakir, Coleman, Samuel, Hollins and Shorter. He is in that group with Shavers, Isabella, Cephus basically fighting for one open spot or to knock Shorter out. And that’s without us signing a more established FA at some point, or only keeping 5 WRs on the roster if we go heavier packages and wanted to keep a promising OLineman. Basically, low odds he makes the 53 at all, and even lower odds he is the speed threat teams worry about for the Bills. Prove me wrong KJ.

Totally get why the Bills liked Keon now. Impressive interview. Hoping it works out on the field for him too

technically that’s still slower than Coleman -
The good with Harmon’s analysis is that he does a pretty good job isolating the WR and their route. So if one WR has a good QB getting them the ball or a bad QB not getting them the ball, it can account for bad stats. Where I think RP is a bit flawed is that he basically solely looks at how a player gets open. So for example he - and a lot of people - loved Ricky Pearsall because he does run good routes. But it doesn’t really take into account that the boy is light, struggles with physicality through the catch and as a runner. It also doesn’t weigh for age where Pearsall has had 3 extra years of life to develop his route running than say Keon Coleman So it’s a good way to tell you how good of a route runner a player is right now. But not exactly what they will become and how they are in other aspects of being a WR. In general, Harmon’s RP is very good though.

without a trade, this is the list of FA WRs available https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/_/year/2024/status/available/position/wr/sort/contract_value Slot guys Hunter Renfroe and Tyler Boyd. Washed up Michael Thomas, Allen Robinson and OBJ. Field stretchers only MVS and DJ Chark. Just don’t see much improvement that route…
