  1. Wow that’s some real safety help 1.7 million dollars? Haha
  2. I believe Campbell was released and so that wouldn’t affect comp picks
  3. I know JMS is listed as the top Center basically everywhere, but I think he is at best a third rounder and would rather have Tippman and Avila over him assuming a gap run scheme. Schmitz is older and probably close to maxed out, his balance is not great and he winds up on the ground way too much because of it. He is athletic for his position but I don’t think he is as athletic as Tippman or anywhere near as strong as Avila. Tippman is Mitch Morse and I would be ok with the Bills drafting him in Rd2 to keep that kind of presence in the middle of our line once Morse has to hang them up.
  4. I would still be skeptical it had been reported earlier that day that the Bills had Edwards in for a visit and a few hours later he tweeted he was going to sign. He may have sources but it is still could have just been a good guess
  5. Ooof, gotta go OT with the first pick. Can’t screw around
  6. As long as he is OT4 or 5 and for little money it’s an ok signing. Can’t go into the season with him as OT3 again
  7. Yasir Abdullah is more of an Edge rusher/OLB but man is he talented and would love him on the Bills. Play him like they did Zo Alexander.
  8. I mean the Bills brought him in for a visit so they must still be looking. I am a little incredulous that Sherfield or Harry will be long term answers in our WR room. This is a great year to get a slot superstar between JSN, Flowers, Downs, Dell and Jarrett. Certainly missed that in our offense last year.
  9. Bergeron in a trade down into the second and Tank Dell in round three would be an excellent beginning of the draft
  10. KC also swapped their first rounder for the Raven second rounder and Orlando Brown which by the value chart was worth about a second round pick. They paid Joe Thuney $80 million over 5 years at LG and just paid Juwan Taylor $80 million over four years. And they hit on their Center pick at #63 as well as their RG pick in round 6 or who knows what they would do there in the future. Andy Reid has always invested in the OLine going back to his Eagles days. We need playmakers but getting 4 out of 5 of our starting lineman to be high performing players helps the offense too.
  11. It’s the only RT we have on the roster so it makes sense that he is giving him a vote of confidence. But I think the Bernard pick last year shows they are ok letting a 3rd round pick be a backup. Hopefully that means they bring in someone good to let Brown compete with and either win it or sit on the bench. I think they will draft an OT early this year because we don’t have a ton of money to spend on a FA tackle to give that competition but that is maybe the optimist in me
  12. I like Campbell and he did do very well at the Combine but I think he is a little overvalued on this board. I think a good comparison is Leo Chenal - another big 10 LB who blew up the combine - who the Chiefs took in the third round. Campbell is better because he does better in coverage than Chenal did but I think round 3 is about right for him. It’s a very weak class so maybe he gets pushed to round 2. Round 1 should be out of the question imo
  13. I’m not sure about the first pick, but via FA or by round 2 we really need to draft a tackle. We only have Dawkins and Brown on the roster right now (I don’t count Doyle coming off injury or practice squad guys as real depth). Darnell Wright, Matt Bergeron, Blake Freeland, Wanya Morris all would be worth Rd 2 capital tho some will be gone before then
  14. Im not sure anyone will ever be Kelce. But he definitely plays like Zach Ertz and wears the same number. If the injury to his back is not serious long term then he would be worth our first pick depending on how the rest of the board fell
  15. 1.2 is perfect. Basically no investment. When he started for a team with any semblance of talent with the 18-19 Panthers he was 6-7 as a starter. That’s normally all you can ask for out of a backup QB
  16. Always like McKenzie the guy. Did well in Dabolls offense as a gadget guy but couldn’t successfully expand his role as a returner or slot receiver. Thankful for what he did provide but it was time for a change.
  17. Evan Brown would be a very nice fit here I think. I thought I heard Lewan was leaning toward retirement.
  18. As long as it is dirt cheap I like it
  19. People may remember when we signed Beasley, his advanced stats with Dallas were great though a much bigger sample size. Seems they are searching for a similar hit with Harty where he can be successful with increased volume. Let’s hope it works out as well again
  20. I guess we will see if he does both punt and kick returns again this year. Still scarred from the McKenzie punt returner year lol
  21. Westbrook is a bigger receiver and has had some moments in an awful Titans passing attack. May not be a bad player to target for WR 6/7 if he is inexpensive.
  22. Can’t say I’m too excited for this one. It’s a good amount of money to pay for someone who is likely WR5 (Diggs, Davis, Shakir, hopefully early round rookie, Harty) and punt returner. Maybe he will prove more valuable than that but his value so far in his career has been that.
