  1. Right now, it is McDermott. Career it’s obviously Belichick. Belichick is a hall of famer but he will be 73 next year which would tie with Romeo Crennel for oldest head coach in NFL history. He also hasn’t been a successful coach since what 2020? The Bills could do better than McDermott and Belichick next year
  2. September football. Two new coordinators that got taken to school early and then the game was in the Ravens wheelhouse of running and blitzing. The Bills are still a really good team, bad night imo
  3. Ravens are 20-3 in home primetime games under Harbaugh. This was a tough position to be in on a short week for the Bills. We were never gonna go 17-0, just chalk it up to a bad game and move on. It doesn’t happen often for us so it is more jarring, but every team has a bad game here and there.
  4. Yes, the spread the ball philosophy is great in the regular season. In the playoffs against good defenses it’s going to narrow down to Cook, Shakir, Kincaid and hopefully Coleman. Adding Hopkins, a player you hope Coleman can play like, would be good insurance and he looked good last week still coming back from his MCL injury. We can still win without him but feel like it would give us some more margin for error.
  5. It depends on the other coordinators. Ben Johnson and Bobby Slowick will probably be first in line since they resurrected a has been and developed a rookie QB, respectively. Wes Phillips and Brian Flores will likely get looks of the Vikings keep up this tear. Id guess we probably will have another year with Brady even if the team keeps this up. His time as OC in Carolina was considered a failure and Daboll struggling in NYC without Josh will probably make teams pause about whether Brady can do it without the best QB in the league.
  6. Mayfield was with the Panthers and Rams during Brady’s last season. Leftwhich also wasn’t with the Bucs when Mayfield joined. Certainly believable but also not exactly a primary source there
  7. Wow Grable got a jersey ahead of Van Demark. Glad we finally have some OL depth
  8. A bit risky as Spencer has been hurt a lot. Will wait for the contract to see the price and how tied to him this makes us in the future. Protecting Josh and giving him weapons is all I care about, so without all the context right now I like it.
  9. Worthy is the most likely answer bc he has an elite QB and elite Offensive head coach. If he went somewhere else he would have a bigger uphill battle. Second place is AD Mitchell. I think Steichen is a good offensive head coach and Mitchell was always very talented, his drop was about character.
  10. Jalen Virgil a WR that was cut by the Broncos
  11. 10 have to be first or second year players so: Hardy - not sure he will be seen as more than a nickel CB across league which may limit his suitors Tecory Couch/Keni-h Lovely Shavers - he was probably player 54 or 55 Davidson - I think he only technically had one year on a roster Edwards and Gouriage Brandon Deen - already reported they want him back -probably 2-3 players not on the team (RB, DE, WR, K) Up to 6 vets: Mike White (confirmed) Kareem Jackson Hamler as a WR/ST backup Desean Williams/Eli Ankou probably 1-2 outside of the org or Toohill if he gets bumped by an addition today
  12. He’d be a good WR6 here. Would expect him to go back to the Cowboys but you never know.
  13. I don’t think he would be subject to waivers as a vet, he should be free to sign with any team he wants if cut
  14. Wouldn’t trade anything for him but would be interested in him for the PS after he is cut
  15. Leonard Taylor has always had a lot of natural talent but couldn’t put it together at Miami but looked good in the preseason for the Jests (2.5 sacks and 4 TFL in the three games)
  16. He had a rough preseason but he has done well in past years at multiple stops. There will be a few veterans kickers getting cut soon. Hoping we bring in as many as possible for, at least, a try out and get one on the PS.
  17. I thought if they made the final 53 you could IR them and designate them to return. If not then maybe they do that for Frank Gore Jr if they think he will be picked up off waivers and want to keep him
  18. yea the obvious thing if they want to IR a third player is to cut Reid Furgeson (2500 dollar cap hit) have the player make the roster, then IR and resign Ferguson. So Milano and Morris out of the gate probably, then if they wanted to they could IR MVS or Spector.
  19. I believe it’s 8 return spots available for the season but I could have that wrong. If they want to keep Andreessen and think he will get claimed that is probably the best way. Let chronically injured Spector get fully healthy.
  20. Yea EU is making the team, think Spector may go to IR. Think Andreessen makes it initially in his spot
  21. I still remember the day they said he wasn’t at OTAs and I said “who?”
  22. yea in this thread there is a weird combination of people trying to take a victory lap on their pre-draft takes already and fans trying to cope with how thin our WR room is by saying “see if we drafted him he wouldn’t be any help anyway.” I thought Franklin was a good player on tape and think he will figure things out eventually. If he doesn’t, congrats to everyone else I guess?
  23. Yea I think a kicker added to the PS post cut down is guaranteed. Narverson had a good preseason, maybe a veteran kicker comes available too I think it will need to happen in game unfortunately
  24. Thought Shavers did well making a few catches, getting wide open in the end zone for an overthrown pass, fighting a ton as the gunner on special teams. Deon Cain looked like a useful player on quick screens but I doubt he makes even the PS, Darynton Evans played well until he got hurt (like every preseason), Hardy had good coverage on a few plays and handled the kickoff and some punt returns (likely he makes the roster imo), TeCory Couch had a few nice special teams plays and decent coverage think he may make the PS. Hamler and Davidson made some plays and both probably are PS guys. For the bad, our depth isn’t the same as years past except 2nd team OL and corner. But most important Bass missed a 51 yarder and had a penalty by not kicking the ball to the right area on the new kickoff. Special teams in general wasn’t great.
  25. Eventually it happens. But think of all the times those teams stumbled trying to get out of their own way. It’s hard to break the cycle and I’m not sure the combination of Rogers, Saleh, and Johnson are up for it. But that roster is talented if everything goes right they could win the division.
