  1. I haven't looked into 2015 yet, but since the start of the 2016 season Denver's defense has allowed exactly 1 QB to throw for 300+ yards, and it was Brees in a losing effort. In fact, of the last 19 QB's they've faced, only 7 broke 200 yards passing. 2017: Week 1 - Rivers: 22/33 192; 5.8 YPA; 99.6 Rating Week 2 - Dak: 30/50 238; 4.8 YPA; 68.6 Rating Week 3 - Tyrod: 20/26 213; 8.2 YPA; 126.0 Rating 2016: Week 1 - Newton: 18/33 194; 5.9 YPA; 69.5 Week 2 - Luck: 21/40 97; 4.9 YPA; 64.3 Week 3 - Dalton: 21/31 206; 6.6 YPA; 72.8 Week 4 - Winston: 17/35 179; 5.1 YPA; 40.1 Week 5 - Ryan: 15/28 267; 9.5 YPA; 98.4 Week 6 - Rivers: 18/29 178; 6.1 YPA; 90.9 Week 7 - Osweiler: 22/41 131; 3.2 YPA; 60.1 Week 8 - Rivers: 20/47 267; 5.7 YPA; 48.8 Week 9 - Carr: 20/31 184; 5.9 YPA; 80.6 Week 10 - Brees: 21/29 303; 10.4 YPA; 111.7 Week 12 - Smith: 26/44 220; 5.0 YPA; 79.7 Week 13 - Bortles: 19/42 181; 4.3 YPA; 37.9 Week 14 - Mariota: 6/20 88; 4.4 YPA; 45.4 Week 15 - Brady: 16/32 188; 5.9 YPA; 68.2 Week 16 - Smith: 25/36 244; 6.8 YPA; 78.4 Week 17 - Cook: 14/21 150; 7.1 YPA; 83.4
  2. Yeah, I thought it factored in down and distance, as well as quarter.
  3. Doesn't ESPN's QBR factor in the context of a play? Everybody hates that stat.
  4. Jimbo hasn't contributed to a Bills win in 20 years. That's Hughes' point, or at least partly anyway. This offseason has been about building a sense of team, a sense of camaraderie, and about the power of being accountable to the guy next to you. There is no reason for someone who hasn't taken the field in 2 decades to make public comments that could effect that foundation, especially if they want to remain plugged into the organization. Jim's a big boy, with all the access he could want to the team. Next time he should just talk to Shady directly.
  5. FWIW, they have been actively looking for a successor at QB.
  6. I don't think I've ever used more than a tablespoon in anything.
  7. Passer Rating? Who cares about that stat. It's irrelevant and not at all indicative of good (or poor) QB play.
  8. Yeah, Lions and Packers both have abysmal run games. Not sure it's an accurate reflection of Atlanta's run D.
  9. 2013 Yards? Holy crap!
  10. Yep. Based on the actual attempt counts, his snap to release time in this game was 2.47s
  11. And that was right after you could clearly see McDermott say 'Thank You Jesus' on the other sideline
  12. Expect a closed roof and AC running then
  13. They should trade us their 1st and 3rd round picks for Peterman.
  14. I think this stands to the larger point. I like McCoy, like a lot, but his style is different than what they need as their feature back at this point. You want someone like a Lynch as the primary ball carrier if you're going to run the Seattle offense circa 2012-2015. McCoy has been exceptional as our safety valve though from a receiving perspective.
  15. He leads the team in targets and receptions.
  16. There was no rush attack in the Tennessee game, other than Tyrod, but he passed better in this win than that one.
  17. This really isn't the game to go after when trying to put down the passing offense.
  18. I like and respect Jimbo, but he needs to realize that just like any current player, he shouldn't go to the media with crap like this. He had an issue with Shady and the access to go talk to him about it. Instead he gave someone a headline. If he's asked about it directly, which I'm assuming happened, just say it's not what he'd have done but he plans on talking to the guys to get a better understanding.
  19. Yes, that's his stats since becoming the starter in 2015, and ranks compared to 30 other QBs in the league that started at least 18 games in the same timeframe. May have missed a couple QBs if they didn't meet minimum requirements for one or more of the years (Jay Cutler in 2016, for example).
  20. Here's a bit from Barnwell: Seasons that changed over 23 minutes of Week 3 madness
  21. You didn't think EJ looked good in PS going 7/8 for 170 & 2 TDs, finishing with a perfect passer rating of 158.3?
  22. Okay, ran the gambit. Completion%: 63.0% - T-17 w/ Carr YPA: 7.40 - 12th YPG: 232.2 - 26th TD/G: 1.594 - 20th TD/TO: 3.40 - 2nd (Brady has a ridiculous 6.25) YPT: 6.17 - 19th TD%: 4.23% - 20th TO%: 1.24 - 2nd (Top 5 here are Brady, Tyrod, A Smith, Dak, & Rodgers w/ Wilson coming in at 6th. Nice company imo.) Passer Rating: 94.6 - T-12 w/ Bradford
  23. I'm working on compiling where exactly the numbers would rank, but since becoming a starter he has a YPT of 6.17, a TD% of 4.23%, a TO% of 1.24%, and a passer rating of 94.6.
  24. Did I miss something? 13 INT's, 2 lost Fumbles.
