  1. too busy playing piano for Snoopy.
  2. Should I include players with 1 game (i.e. Bradford)? Or nah?
  3. Beasley and Upshaw, however...
  4. You don't find it odd/interesting that all of these good QBs had their bad games against this particular defense?
  5. Again, until this past week only 7 of the last 19 QBs broke 200 yards against that defense. Brady didn't, Luck didn't, Newton didn't, Rivers didn't 2 out of 3 times, Winston didn't, Carr didn't, Mariota didn't break 100 yards.
  6. Russ, behind a terrible OL, has been asked to make a play 47.7 times per game so far this year. That's more than every QB except Rodgers and Palmer. Even at that high amount, here's how he stacks up, per attempt, to Tyrod: Yards per Touch: RW - 5.45; TT - 5.61 TD%: RW - 3.50%; TT - 3.57% TO%: RW - 0.70%; TT - 0.89% Total Attempts per Game: RW - 47.7; TT - 37.3
  7. Passer rating is computed from 4 stats. Completion %, YPA, TD%, and INT%. Tyrod currently has a better Completion % than all 3 of the guys you listed; a better YPA than all but Rodgers, whom he is .11 behind; a higher TD% than all of them; and is only ahead of Rodgers for INT% I personally use a different blend of stats for my ratings (and factor in attempts per game), which would place Tyrod last among the 3 you listed plus him. (Rodgers is 6, Wilson is 9, Ben is 15, Tyrod is 21 currently)
  8. Does he have a Crest sponsorship yet? Because '3D White' is literally a product line for them.
  9. This is simply incorrect. It might be what you want, but it isn't based in reality. Last year, in a career year for Matt Ryan, he threw for 300+ yards 6 times. The Falcons lost 2 of those 6 games. Derek Carr threw for 300+ yards 4 times. Alex Smith threw for 300+ once, in an overtime game. Big Ben threw for 300+ 4 times (two of them were exactly 300). Brady did it 5 times, and the only time they lost with him at QB last year was a 300 yard game from him. Brees did actually have 10 300+ yards games. The Saints were 4-6 in those games...
  10. I still don't understand why you chose this week, against the Denver D, to gripe about this. 12 of their past 19 opponents didn't even pass for 200 yards.
  11. This year the QB's under 30 (so far) are: McCown, Bortles, Smith, Newton, Goff, Watson, Taylor, and Flacco. Last year it would've been: Tannehill, Goff, Taylor, Fitzpatrick, Prescott, Kaep 2015 would've been: Dalton, Smith, Bridgewater, Taylor, Kaep, Manziel, Cassel How about we define 'running QBs' by their rush attempts instead of their pass attempts?
  12. No QB attempts under 25 passes per game on average... Also, passer rating doesn't factor in rushes whatsoever, so I'm not sure how it's great stats for a running QB.
  13. I gave you 2 full seasons of data, along with the 3 game sample this year. None of them were close to '25-30% weekly'. The 2017 team 3rd down #'s are worse than last year's, though not significantly. Not sure how that's improvement?
  14. We're 39.1% this year, good for 15th. Last year we were 41%, good for 13th. in 2015 we were 37.9%, good for 21st. I have no idea where you're getting this sub 30% nonsense from.
  15. So you're saying if we throw out 4 years out of 9, and ignore 3 more, his stats look pretty good? He's had a passer rating of 99+ in 22% of his complete NFL seasons, and 3 games into this year he is on pace for his 3rd.
  16. Man, like 2 minutes of anthem BS to start a sub 5 minute video about our team's practice? And they want me to pay for other content? Yikes! I honestly couldn't bring myself to finish the video.
  17. You'd have to distinguish which are which, and then there's RPO's which could really go either way. BTW, both teams ahead of us in attempts are at 99, so only one more run each.
  18. This year we have attempted 79 passes (T-29th in the NFL) (88 including sacks). We have attempted 98 runs (T-3rd in the NFL).
  19. Ah. I'll have to check out that ASS... page.
  20. Well he's one of the best players to come out of there, and they don't have a pro team. Lots of them became Titans fans when he got drafted. Similar stuff happened in SW Virginia when Vick got drafted by the Falcons.
  21. Marcus Mariota went to Oregon.
  22. Also, for what it is worth, there are exactly 4 QBs who are averaging 300 passing yards per game in the league this year, and one of them (Bradford) only played 1 game. The other 3 are Brady, Rodgers, and Palmer.
