  1. I'm assuming Bradford (who absolutely killed it in week 1 last year, btw). But if it's Rosen that's fine too.

  3. I think our range is 4-7 wins. I've bounced between 5-11 and 6-10 throughout the offseason. As of right now I'm looking at 5-11.
  4. I was confused because you said 'and now both find themselves in competition with a top 10 pick'. My bad, was just weird wording I guess.
  5. What top 10 pick is Cousins competing with? Cousins got an $84M Guaranteed contract. He's the man in Minny through 2020.
  6. I give myself credit. I turned the game off for the 4th quarter and all of the sudden the tides turned, apparently.
  7. Last year the Jets were supposed to be the worst team in football and were not projected to win a single game. They ended up 5-11 and were tied for the 4th worst team with 2 others. I doubt we will be the worst team in football, but I don't think we'll be very good either.
  8. His schemes fit our OL the best for sure. We averaged more points and more yards per play when Lynn was in charge of playcalling & prep.
  9. Roman legitimately had the offense preparing 80+ plays per week in 2016. In weeks 1 & 2 we ran ~50 plays in the entire games. Lack of repetitions was leading to poor execution.
  10. Because his approach to game prep was awful. Too many plays.
  11. We scored more points in 2016 than 2015 though. 20 more points, 109 fewer yards. Then we got Dennison and scoring dropped by 97 points and yards dropped by 824...
  12. No, it was their starter all year McCown. Who had a career year. Fitz is on the Bucs...
  13. Because Geno Smith was a Giant all last season.
  14. The McCarron injury perhaps upped the odds.
  15. But the OL getting better isn't inevitable like the seasons. This is more like leaving the car in the garage until the county ponies up and repaves your street.
  16. I take it you disagree with that recap then and can't answer the question. That's fine.
  17. So who was the 1 that did best with the ones? You want to deflect because of your previously awful takes, but this same page denial is pretty hilarious. Just to recap:
  18. I'm not saying McDermott should, publicly. I'm simply pointing out why you have folks mentioning that he hasn't actually faced a #1 D yet, which may or may not have impacted how he looked in game 1. You want to say Nate's the only one who looked good with our 1's? Fine. But you can still acknowledge that he didn't face a D at full strength and that the starting left tackle didn't play with Allen.
  19. That's the rub with last year's offensive staff. We had a QB Coach that hasn't coached QBs since 1982, an assistant QB coach that has never coached QBs, a college WR coach, an OL coach with a bad track record but good connections, and an OC that played LB in the NFL. That said, Culley is a very well respected coach overall. He just hasn't worked with QBs in a long time. I was hoping that with Phil going to LA they might move Culley back to WR coach and hire a more proven QB coach.
