Every time I see a good WR that the Bills desperately need (like a Hill), the kid is an underclassman. So frustrating.
I still think Anthony Johnson will end up being one of the best WR to come out of this class. He is extremely good at tracking the ball.
Good, he is too old. McCoy can sit there and talk a good game, but the guy looks old out there. Ivory and zero issue gaining positive yards.
McCoy's game is too speed based for him to still be playing.
It's ridiculous our GM couldn't see this and is adamant about McCoy being here next year.
Just wait until you see the desperation Beane will be under in the offseason. Wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Beane throw tons of money at Bell and spinning it that it fills multiple holes.
I would take Russ Brandon over Beane. At least Brandon relied on people in the organization (scouts) to do most of the work. Brandon actually brought in some nice players.
Keep trying to bring fantasy, made up excuses in your mind.
The facts and results are out there.
Whaley was ten times the better talent evaluator than Beane. It's not even a debate.
Zay has been opened all year on the All-22. It's the QB that is always the issue.
I expected Zay Jones to have a nice career outside of Buffalo like Robert Woods.
Finally people are realizing what a cluster Beane is.
He will end up going down as the worst GM this team has ever seen, and that is saying a lot.
The guy is clueless, yet has one of the biggest egos I have ever seen.
McDermott and Whaley were great together. Provided a nice check and balance. Whaley was able to scout, and McDermott was allowed to make the decisions based on Whaley's scouting.
Beane now runs everything player wise and it is a stark contrast to the talent that was brought in before he got here.
If he was going to develop and progress, he would have got better as his college career went on. The guy should have never been drafted. He lacks what it takes to be good in today's NFL.
Why two years?
Thinking you have a QB to then pass on a better prospect, is way worse than admitting the mistake and taking another QB.
How many years can we go with saying we have a QB, when we really don't?
Allen right now is projecting to be one of the worst passing QBs to play the game, in the pass happy era.
Ya, like inaccuracy, zero ability to read a defense, can't go through progressions quick, below average pocket awareness, etc.
The same reasons that he is having trouble in the NFL.
Allen is who pretty much everyone (besides the Bills FO) thought he was.
Not sure why people think he is just going to be good just because he is big, good arm, and was drafted high.
