I was a huge McDermott supporter until the 13 second meltdown. My biggest problem is that there was no accountability publicly. There very well could have been internally, but I think that in this day it would have leaked out of the locker room. Now in 2024, I am very skeptical of his ability to : 1). Provide a defensive scheme that will result in 3 straight playoff wins. 2). Provide adequate game management through the same 3 games. I am confident that Josh will have the offense under control and score enough points despite the lack of a WR 1. I expect the Bills to win today at home, I do not expect that the Defense will be able to stop Baltimore in the Divisional round. I hope that McD and Babich have a better defensive strategy, but I don't think it will be enough stop Jackson and Henry. To his credit, McDermott and Babich had a great scheme against Detroit. Yes I am a Bills fan. No I don't care if you disagree with my opinion. Yes I am hoping the Bills win. Yes I am open for debating. No I will not respond to thoughtless responses or name calling.

Just curious why this game scares the hell out of you yet you are more confident they can beat the Ravens who thrashed the Bills in regular season play?

I feel the same with the exception of Baltimore. Our D will get shredded.... again. Our only chance is that they get upset before playing Buffalo.

I’m curious where your confidence in this Defense comes from? Most teams have been exploiting our soft zone for years. I acknowledge that once the opponent get inside the red zone the Bills D does a great job defending the short field. IMO, our pass rush sucks, our ability to stop the run is even worse yet. So therefore I have little confidence in our current defense heading into the playoffs. Can we be the Chiefs…. Absolutely. Can beat the Steelers? Highly unlikely. They will gash us run game. Can we beat the Ravens ? Extremely unlikely…. Henry will have another field day and when he needs a breather, Lamar will get plenty of running and passing yards. Other than our ability to score on most possessions due our amazing QB, I have very little confidence that our Defense can stop any playoff team this year. i have a feeling that Detroit is going to embarrass us next week even if Josh has another “historic “ day. it’s very depressing, I wish I knew how Josh truly feels today. He has to be frustrated.

McDummy Strikes Again

How about 2 out of 3 this year. Houston and LA Rams. Personally, I was done with McDummy after 13 second game, I get it.... he has done great work improving the culture here. Seriously he is something like 83 w vs 43 L as a head coach. Great! How many of those Wins were due to Josh Allen? It is my opinion at some point, Josh will tire from loosing close games to incompetent game management.

Do you think JA17 shares your opinion? I highly doubt that. As a leader, he will not openly throw anyone under the bus, however, he and many other veterans know that if a game comes down to the wire; McDummy will blow it 9/10 times. That is just proven fact.

Truth be told, the Texans game was the only game I did not see due to work . I did try following on my phone and was certain that they were going to tie up the game with seconds remaining but when I refreshed my phone the game was over. It was my assumption that McClappy had a hand in that loss. I never did go back and watch the game.

So why did they beat the Bills this year? I agree the Chargers and Steelers statement but wouldn't it be better if KC lost 3 of their remaining games?

It's been said a million times and it will be said a million more, but we a truly blessed to have such a great face of our franchise. He is the epitome of a genuinely thoughtful man. IMHO... He is the greatest Bill ever drafted. My words could never begin to express how much respect and admiration I have for this man.

The answer to this is simple. McDermott. While I am not on a crusade to see his head a platter, he can not manage a game period. He has done some good things here but I have wanted him gone since 13 seconds. Unfortunately, it has gotten worse and I fully expect it to trend in that direction.
