  1. Just want to say, regardless of Diggs being here or not, the Bills still need to draft a top WR. It’s been said the past two drafts. We all knew Diggs was going to blow up or decline. Davis was on a white hot seat after 2022, and we knew the WR1B was supposed to get drafted and replace Diggs. Honestly don’t think Diggs trade changes anything regarding drafting a top WR now.
  2. Pretty much sums up why the Bills can’t beat the Chiefs. They always have someone better than our best.
  3. BTJ at pick #20 or Nabers at pick #10? Let’s just say all other trade pieces being equal, Nabers costs a 1st in 2025, and Thomas costs #60. If you had to choose, which way are you going?
  4. It’s a draft thread, but one I haven’t seen.. a minor topic considering. And we only have five more days to make all this crap. I’d like to hear some opinions on the current OBD occupying regime’s off the board” players. Are there any players of significance this draft? Say top 120 or so players that the Bills won’t touch? Or that any team definitely won’t touch? I really haven’t heard of any.. I would have expected the Bills to pass on Jalen Carter last year if they had a top ten pick. I think OBD has a conservative “off the board” board. It is somewhat illogical to me that a player would definitely be off your board, unless it’s some very serious murderous type charges. Just saying. How conservative do you think the Bills are with that board, or do you think they are mid pack, or even in the more opportunistic tier of NFL teams? Hypothetical,, Bills are wheeling and dealing to trade up to draft BTJ and simultaneously TMZ is reporting Nabers is doing some shady stuff.. not suspension worthy, or DB, but I don’t know.. guns..?? Where does OBD draw that line..? Nabers falls because of TMZ stuff, is he off the Bills board..? Even at #20?? I’m only using Nabers because he’s the guy I want. Not because I think he does shady stuff. I don’t have a clue.
  5. MHJ is silky smooth. He can flow anywhere on the field, catches everything that hits his hands. I have this weird feeling that he’s going to get knocked around and leg injuries will slow him down. He’s long. Big target, for defenses. Those hybrid LBs like Bernard steamrolling the kid when he’s stretched out. Also, the expectation cannot be any higher. I read it here.. he’s a Hall of Famer and/or a perennial All-Pro (HoF’er). I know I’m just digging here, but IF the fairy tale doesn’t happen, what would be the reasons..? Not talent, not pedigree, not mental, not diva. I’m staking Nabers, in a way that he just won’t g.a.s. He’ll play so hard and so fast that he’s going to scare defenses. To me, he looks like he has an extra hot fire burning and wants to be the best. He just looks mean out there.
  6. Yes, I bet they are. Nabers. That’s my guy, two days before the draft. I think he’ll be the best WR. Monsterish good. I’d like one of those types.
  7. He’s white???
  8. Easy, you draft a raw project and make him startable for an entire season, eventually. The Bills are proven right tackles developers. I know, draft the replacement with a pick you get in the Brown trade.
  9. Could you guys convince me that McConkey is this good? He seems to be LOVED by the board, with no negatives by my account. What makes him such a strong WR in general? If he’s good, he’s good, and of course he’d be a hit for the Bills, even if he isn’t a WR1, which we’d still be looking for if drafted.
  10. I could be dead wrong, all speculation, but doesn’t it also seem that Brown will be forever indebted to play his ass off for JA17 & the Bills. He doesn’t seem like the type of guy, given his current Bills journey, who will jump ship and go where he’ll make an extra dollar somewhere else. Jmo
  11. I don’t think the price is out of Beane’s league if he wants to trade into the teens range. It should be a second. And throw in a fourth. All depends on where BTJ falls. Beane really needs to know where his potential landing spots could be #10-28, and jump in.
  12. With the 28th pick the Vikings select the best WR in the draft.
  13. We all expect a playoff birth. The Bills have an impressive regular season and win 12+ games but are playoff fakers and even lose ANOTHER home playoff game. or The Bills figure it out late (again) and go into the playoffs playing well, win a game and compete in another (again), which would be a surprise and give some hope for the following season. Which scenario would you prefer?
  14. Don’t think so. The offense has a major hole to fill. Feeling like one step forward, two steps back right now. Hope that changes on draft day 1. The defense isn’t any better. The kicker STINKS. I’m not sure how we’re better next next than last, when we had a shot to beat KC.
  15. How is this not a given. Every word posted here is an opinion 🤣
  16. Beane traded away 150 targets under contract, and he has a plan. The Bills will draft a WR with their first pick. The Bills will pick a WR at 1.28, or move up to pick a WR. They are not trading back to draft a WR. So they aren’t trading back. What Beane does with picks in 4th and 5th rounds is how this draft will be remembered. Whatever Beane decides to do with these picks, they will have a MAJOR impact on this team for years to come. Pick #60 can be BPA for DLine and defensive backfield. Two more WRs picks in R4 and R5.
  17. If you didn’t have “LeG” in your handle, I woulda blown this off as another looooong shot
  18. Who’s ignoring? He’s flashed. He’s talented. He’s always hurt. He can’t be counted on. This is the time of year when there’s not much fan faith in the weak and wobbly veteran on his third team for three years $24M. I think the fans are treating him just right right now. Excited and very nervous.
  19. Literally wants Shakir to show WR1 potential and talent. JA17 has told Beane as much, so Beane tells us. Those two believe they can pull this off. Make the fans think… Okay, there’s our guy, right there! That’s as the roster stands right now. He knows damn well that Samuel better be a good signing. Everyone else is absolutely nobody. He knows the fans know. Beane is riding with Josh on this one for the Shakir bump to kept the fans from drooling 24/7 over a new WR1 talent. But, Beane knows better too. He says this thing to calm us, but is hard at work to get a top WR in this draft. Could you imagine if Beane goes into next season with this WR group + a 2nd round pick. Unless that rookie is an instant game piece, with impact, We better have an improvement ACROSS THE BOARD everywhere else. Better have. RD1 is Edge, RD2 would have to be WR AND S. I think if the Bills pick a second round WR they would have to acquire another R2 pick spent on a R1 talent guy at DLine or S. I don’t know how they get another R2 pick. We have zero players we’d trade for a pick that high. I’m not even sure we have any players worth a R2 pick in a total hypothetical. Maybe Dawkins or Kincaid to a team that’s desperate. I’m not saying the Bills should do that… I don’t think they could even if they wanted to. Beane’s getting us a WR. I’ll guarantee it.
  20. Thought it was a-don-yay
  21. Answer to the OP. Hugely relieved on the inside, and excited for the new challenge on the outside. He’s thrilled. He knows Diggs wa’n’t all that and he can lead this team to greatness with his guys now. No you didn’t. And now I have to
  22. If Beane doesn’t draft “Storm Duck” at the end of the draft, I’m done.
  23. Ahh now you’re talking. The essence of every football team is the Big Nasties. They are the only true brotherhood room in the building. My limited football experience is from the view of quarterback, wr, cb, and fs. I would be thrilled if the Bills hired Joe Thomas to scout, and integrate his evaluations into the OBD final OLine rankings and final big board. It’s all a mystery to me, but it shouldn’t be to a 1st ballot Hall of Famer that played on bad teams, with bad players, and bad coaches. When I watch film, I can’t tell how good the fat guys are because they slow down to attack lesser talented defenders. And then there’s the whole unpredictable bust factor. But I’d think centers in general are more likely to take the game seriously than the other positions. So there’s that. I’m all for acquiring a center that becomes Josh’s dude for the next ten years. That role should be important to JA17. Jackson Johnson Jack Powers certainly looks the part and if the evaluators like him I’m all for it. Plus he wins the 2024 Draft name contest. Can’t take Kool Aid that seriously. What about Payton Wilson? We ALWAYS GET HURT AT LINEBACKER, and I’ll just leave it at that. Your thoughts?
  24. Were you around during the trial? I swear, I remember thinking the glove moment was such a joke. I felt like nobody could possibly believe for a second that OJ didn’t manipulate his hand and the glove. 1. Who wouldn’t if they were in his Bruno Magli’s?! What idiot is going to gleeful slip on the evidence.. hahahaha. Preposterous!! 2. He didn’t give a ***** about trying on the glove that the killer wore to squeeze the knife that killed his ex. Man, if anyone needs anymore evidence that he is deranged.. there you go. So I question that juror’s claim, or the attempt of that 30for30 to cover the juror’s asses. Makes way more sense that that juror took it out on the LAPD. It was a wild WILD time in LA for law enforcement back then. The mini series about the Biggie investigation, with the guy from The Wire, is a nice look into LA LE in the 90s.
