  1. I don't think so. The Seahawks just tried to be a bit too clever. They've made unlikely plays when they needed all through the playoffs, from onside kicks, crazy 2pt conversions, that catch just before halftime etc. They just got cocky and thought it was destiny.
  2. Unless Manning has a Bills helmet on when he wins another Super Bowl I could not give a rats a$$ what he retires with. On a side note he only has one ring, there's no way he wins two more. Perfect scenario #2 should read: The refs start calling intentional grounding calls on Brady and let him take a hit now and again like other QBs have to take.
  3. I can't even bring myself to watch sports on tv until this whole thing is over, What a cluster of a way to loose. It was right there, they just had to take it. I wonder will it haunt Wilson and effect how he plays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcBc-zJ3QxY
  4. A solid heck no from me on this one.
  5. Warner is the same guy that told the coach not to rebench Eli and put Warner back in the game. He said you would damage the kid that way. There is not a more class act out there. When his former teammates talk about him they talk about how selfless he was and the great teacher/leader he was. We are talking great players like Faulk and Fitzgerald here. Just saying...
  6. That is an important piece, how often have they done this and what else are they doing.
  7. The entire staff got shafted by Marrone. If he ever gets another shot as HC that will come back to bite him.
  8. Could not agree with you more. It's time for him to just go away
  9. No. It is the pattern of behavior and rule breaking/bending. This is not an isolated incident. This is why so many HOF players and coaches have chimed in before and since this latest incident.
  10. Agreed. There is not another coach in league history who has so many allegations of cheating against him.
  11. The Patriots seem to have a charmed existence.
  12. I was hoping never to think of that game again.
  13. I believe that they liked him up until he quit on them. The way he left, not looking people in the eye really rubbed them the wrong way, especially with all the team and we are in this together mantra. Packing up your $4m and group texting the players is about as lame as anyone can be. It will be hard for him to gain the trust of players from now on wherever he ends up.
  14. Yeah, the way he dominated Joe Thomas will get will get him at least 12/year. Currently it's not a position of need for us because we have guys like him. I think we need to pay going rate for guys who perform.
  15. Honestly just think about how he left. All the people and players that he let down and the way he let people know that he was leaving. Sure he has $4M (less taxes and agent fees) to tie him over, but getting another HC gig and getting good people to trust him and join his staff will be tough. I'm sure Schwartz isnt that happy with him.
  16. Can you tell me who wins the Superbowl this year as I could use the extra cash? Seriously though, he's our coach now, lets get behind him and give the guy a chance. I'd take 2 AFC Championship years right now, it would make for a nice change. The new ownership is demonstrating one thing, the Bills are finally willing to spend money. If they can go get us a QB and help on the line Rex will have a real opportunity. This group has been together for less than 4 months. Give them a chance, they are making real moves.
  17. I agree that its the consistency of how rules are applied. The magnitude of the outcome of whether that was a catch or not should not be a factor. I generally don't take the refs side but that is such a touch call to make. The ball hit the ground and moved. That's the rule whether its BS or not BS. Hopefully it gets reviewed along with others this off season. Personally I don't know why rules like taunting aren't reviewed as well. How subjective is that rule and how those penalties kill and save drives. We seemed to hit with a lot this year. Another item that is relevant is Bryant both this time and against the Lions came way on the field without his helmet to talk to the refs. Other teams and players get flagged for that. One way or the other, I just think that there has to be a way to improve the consistency of how rules are evaluated by the refs. Just change the rules that they struggle, like the old force out rule on whether the player would have landed in bounds.
  18. I hope they stay in the 4-3 as I think we are better suited to that with the personnel we have. We don't have a big Ted Washington type guy that's needed to plug the middle. We were pretty good against the run last year, I'd hate to go back to the way we were before that.
  19. Jerry is that you? That sounds like a Jerry Jones move. If you are paying a guy $5.5M/year you have to trust that he will choose the right coordinators.
  20. 1. I hope he just goes away and is forgotten. No class the way he left, hard to trust anyone like that. 2. I'm with you there 3 I saw this online yesterday. I am looking forward to him yelling at refs when they pick up flags without explanation
  21. Having owners that's willing to pay Having a coach that players love Hopefully we get either Trestman or Roman as OC Awesome that the teams moving forward in such a positive manner.
  22. The new HC should pick his staff. Is it his decision or has he been asked to leave?
  23. Like everyone else I just want a coach who wins games but I do have to say that I really wanted Marrone to be more vocal and express displeasure to the refs about some of the calls against us. There is some great clips of Marv yelling at the refs that always make me smile. "you over officious jerk"
  24. Our WRs are young but we have top level talent in Watkins/Woods/Hogan. Chandler has too many drops for my liking so I with you there. If we had an answer at QB then I think the O-Line play starts to improve. Fitz clearly was not the answer but we were better off with him behind center than Orton. My fear is that we are really going to need some quality OC and O Line coaching for EJ to develop, the game is too fast and he plays too timid.
