  1. Where is the blitz? Absolute stupid three man rush. Prevent defense. Loser defense, anyone watching knows blitz can be effective, when varied Blitz, blitz, blitz Ryan, what is wrong with you Taylor was not at fault, although not Brady, he still can be effective Blitz, blitz, blitz Ryan
  2. Running free from the line does not contain him. Ridiculous, block him if you have too. 3 linebackers and 4 defensive backs. Hit him.
  3. I don't understand it. Gronk lines up and runs free. He weighs about 260lbs. He comes off the line of scrimmage without a touch. Of course, he'll be open. Jam him at the line with LB's who weigh 250lbs. He should be hit every down, no exceptions. Jam, Jam, Jam. It will slow his movement, and hopefully disrupt his pattern. Alternate LBs on him. Never to run free. Slowing him down will help the DB. Quit letting him run free. Jam, Jam, Jam
  4. Great game all four QB, but start EJ. His 3rd year here, he earned it. TT wait in the wings, need your running ability, maybe more. Simms can go, Cassel stay, a steady hand.
  5. After the dreadful years, this talk about minimum value for TT or EJ is nuts. Be grateful for both, we will need both. We are one collusion away from disaster. We could even rotate in the beginning if one fits the game style, as a second resort. Talking about unknown draft choices versus our "proven" quality now is crazy. Bask in the Pitts victory. Look at the history of unproven draft choices We need to keep this team intact. Go Bills
  6. I agree with the original author. EJ should start the first game. This complete lack of confidence in EJ is ridiculous. He needs game time experience and has the physical attributes to succeed. After we crushed GB's #1 QB, anybody can have a bad day. Start EJ and go Bills.
  7. Go EJ, go Bills. EJ is another player this year. Rex, do the right thing, start EJ.
  8. EJ deserves first place under the principle of "eminent domain". "The power of the state to take private property for the public use with payment of compensation to the owner" THE POWER OF EJ TO TAKE FIRST POSITION FOR THE TEAM WITH PAYMENT OF PERFORMANCE TO THE TEAM. In other word, EJ DESERVES first crack at number one quarterback, three year team player. At
  9. EJ deserves more time with the first unit He has stayed the course, was here first, has commitment to the team, has worked hard, Cassell is temporary, backup. TT is good, EJ is good. Start RJ the next couple of games. These injuries are killing us, we need 3 QBs. Rex, the wonder boy, is doing EJ a great disservice, if he doesn't have the chance to be the NO 1 QB.
  10. EJ is a year older and wiser. He should have the advantage unless he is a complete flop in pre-season. Why would Baltimore release their QB, and then he automatically becomes our starter? Cassell may be adequate, but EJ has to be our man. He needs more game experience, mistakes or not. If we grind the ball, EJ has to be the man, even I can make adequate hand-offs. I didn't like the Spiller situation, and I don't like this situation. EJ has to have more exposure, and needs fan support. Trading him or releasing him would be stupid at this point. No safety nets, no conservative play calling, let him go, scramble to your hearts content. Hopefully, the new coaches let you open up. Go Bills
  11. If high school lineman can learn to pull and trap in line assignments, why can't highly paid NFL lineman men perform the same task? Don't recall any pulling lineman in Bills games. It mostly appeared to be straight ahead blocking, holes jammed and plugged, no where for our backs to go. Let's hope our new coaching staff has a plan. Diversify line blocking, move the blocking assignments around, vary the attacks. Otherwise our off season trades will be meaningless.
  12. EJ has not had a fair chance, with our coaches trying to have a winning record versus letting EJ develop. Also, was kept under wraps, only short passes and no scrambling. We may have to live through more losses for him to gain the experience needed, versus Cassell? Give him 6 games minimum, win or lose.
  13. Sign CJ please. With a new coach and OC, improved line, CJ will be successful. WE have the right running backs now, don't waste a draft pick here. TE and receivers are needed. I expect scary surprises from Coach Ryan.
  14. Sammy is a great find, we've blown many draft choices in the past. Sammy is a winner and a great threat. Comparing him to others is useless. Be glad we've got him. He'll be the best. The past is past, we need positive attitudes for next year. Griping and complaining now is useless.
  15. Keep Spiller with one year contract with Rex. Then decide. Rex can't play, Spiller does.
  16. How can a head coach change individual plays on the fly while he is watching field play? He can't. In my opinion, the OC is responsible for all play calling. The HC can set the strategy for the game, but without a card of plays in front of him, he' unprepared for play by play play calling. Head coaches are over rated at game time. The OC rules.
  17. Forced to act, we took aa veteran coach whose been around, knows a lot about the entire game. Glad we are not starting with a rookie coach again. That would have been unsettling and start over again. Ryan will know what to do about OL. Can these guys improve? He probably knows every player and their skills in the league. .
  18. The trade was very good, that's why we keep talking. Watkins will do his part, stop griping about it and move on. Many, many first round disasters.
  19. I'm not an expert on line play, but do our guards ever pull out and lead block for our backs? Other teams have lead blockers through the hole. Our line seems to just block straight forward, with no sideways movement. Backs have no place to go, everything is jammed up in the middle. Anyone notice this lack of movement of our line? Same with trap blocking, do we ever use it? Doesn't seem like out OL uses it?
  20. No matter our standing after Sunday, our SUPER BOWL will be the game against the Patriots. They are now the gold standard this year. Go Bills
  21. This playoff site is out dated? But will bring up to date for season finals: Bills finish season at 10-6 and make playoff IF: Cinn 9-4-1 loses to Den/Pitt 9-6-1 Pitt 9-5 beats KC/Cinn 11-5 KC 8-6 loses to Pitt/ wins or loses SD 9-7 or 8-8 Balt 9-5 loses to Hous/Clev 9-7 SD 8-6 loses to SanF wins or loses to KC 9-7 or 8-8 Buff 8-6 beats Oak/NE 10-6 Buff loses tie-breaker to SD and KC. Check it out Whether we make the playoffs or not, New England is our SUPER BOWL!!!!! Whether we make the playoffs or not, New England is our SUPER BOWL!!!!!! Bill B will not give us the game.
  22. Bills make playoff if Bills win last two games finish 10-6 Cinn loses last two games to Den/Pitt 9-6-1 Pitt wins last two games KC/Cinn 11-5 KC loses to Pitt/SD 8-8 Balt loses to Hous/Clev 9-7 SD loses to SF, beats KC 9-7 KC and SD hold tie-breaker over Bills What do you think?
  23. Unlikely, but hopeful. Too many weak spots. Other teams have very good players also, we fooled ourselves into thinking we had all the talent early. Overall, without some marginal plays and officiating problems, we'd be there in the final six. Our expectations were too high. Too many glaring holes with average talent. They tried hard, under microscopic evaluations is very tough. Look at you being exposed before millions on replays. Wouldn't be a happy site. One more time Bills
