  1. I know that injuries happen to every team but this years Bills team seems really soft.
  2. I think the doom and gloom comes from seeing what we would do if we made it into the wildcard game. Against playoff caliber teams we have looked way over matched.
  3. Stop saying the pass caused his injury. Receivers in every game have to adjust to passes that are a little off line. Sammy is the only one on crutches after it though.
  4. Maybe the Bills should call Sammy's agent and tell him that they need at least 10 plays a game from him.
  5. I think Sammy and Goodwin are made from the same piece of glass.
  6. Get well soon Bill. Always good level headed assessment of the games.
  7. What's so surprising is that the front 7 seem confused on almost every third down. They never seem to be ready when the ball is snapped.
  8. As others have said, it's the timing. You haven't played in a few weeks and you involved your agent? That screams immature. In his one big game in the NFL he got caught from behind celebrating too early. Later in that same game he celebrated again too early although he didn't get caught. Sammy needs to learn that he is a "professional " football player and keep things in house.
  9. I think he means that he's one of those dudes who doesn't have a job because it would interfere with gym time.
  10. Drove up from the Mississippi Gulf Coast for the game. I couldn't believe how many Bills fans were there. In recent years I have been to the Bills games in New Orleans and Dallas and this was by far the most Bills fans at an away game. Nashville is an awesome city and the people were great. The Bills fans had taken over downtown Saturday night and I have never heard so many drunken versions of the shout song before. The weather was perfect and the Bills finally got a W at a game I went to. Great weekend.
  11. Bills 31 Titans 17. Anyone else going to Nashville?
  12. The only lack of discipline that concerns me is the constant penalties. They are killing us.
  13. Did anyone not believe that there would be growing pains with a QB who never started a game before? TT has the potential to be a very good QB but it will take some time. That was the thought process behind staring him, that the defense would keep us in every game while he improved. It didn't work yesterday but look at the schedule, we have a very good chance to be 5-2 going into the bye week. That said, I think that EJ should be the backup and Cassell not dressing. We have to have a mobile QB with our O-line.
  14. Play action to Shady, Bomb down the left side to Sammy 78 yards TD. 18 First downs.
  15. Tyrod's senior year he completed 60% for 2,743 yards and 24 TD's and only 5 pics. That doesn't seem "terrible".
  16. I'm glad you brought this topic up. I'm worried about it. I keep hearing about how Rex will help Darby with a safety once the season starts and he's just testing him now. Teams will overload his side so the safety will be occupied and Darby will have to be one on one in some situations. I'm hoping Graham will play corner until Leodis comes back. Brooks isn't great but he's been in the league about 3 years now and doesn't draw all the PI penalties.
  17. I remember that they had the bell before, I think in the Juron and JP Losman years. It only rang like 3-4 times a game.
  18. EJ earned the start. The long td pass against Carolina was a dime. The game winning drive and two point conversion for the win definitely earned it for him. Best numbers of all 3 qb's so far.
  19. Totally agree. I was and am a huge JK fan but the tank was empty when he retired. He was a total statue in the pocket and couldn't even hardly move. It would have been a sad sight to see him in another uniform.
  20. I want to see no major injuries, especially to key players. Next to that, I hope a QB establishes themselves as a clear cut number 1. I don't care who, just someone step up and take command of the offense.
  21. This was the point that I was going to make. The McCoy trade makes sense for a team that wants to be a run first offense plus his receiving out of the backfield is one of the best in the league. The Harvin money should have been spent shoring up the O-line. There is a reason Harvin has been on so many teams in the past few years and can't make an impact as a WR.
  22. Actually I'm from Rochester, I just live in the South now.
