  1. I hope to god Knox is benched the rest of the night.
  2. I might agree with that with the exception of one thing, the Pats don’t draft very well and with a possible decrease in the salary cap, Bellichek will have a hard time building a team with minimal to no talent. The opt outs from this year for all we know wouldn’t have made so much of an impact as to put them in a better position within the division. The general consensus on this board for years is that a team needs a franchise quarterback for sustainable success. Bellichek has nothing resembling that
  3. Maybe Kraft can coax Jauron to take over when Bellichek retires.
  4. Given how the Pats have finished for the past god knows how long, this is definitely the basement for them
  5. Ding ***** the witch is dead, the Pats are officially and finally in the AFC East basement
  6. Need to take it a step further than that. I don’t care about seeding at all. I want the division wrapped up even if that means KC wins. Winning the division trumps seeding right now, and too much would have to happen to pass KC. The cherry on top would be winning the division and sending the Dolphins home with a loss killing their playoff chances
  7. You ever notice that Smith rarely catches passes that far out?
  8. Garbage yards, the Browns had them blown out for the majority of the game
  9. Leadership and Mayfield don't belong in the same sentence, at least compared to Allen anyway. Too many times Mayfield has shown up to press conferences looking like a hobo and yet he shows leadership?
  10. Hmm, this is a weird twist. The Bills playing against a team that doesn't run the ball well. I believe the Steelers are also down both their starting CBs as well. Man, if Brown was active for this game. Biggest threat from that D is obviously Watt. Maybe we bring Kroft back for this one?
  11. Quite honestly, I think if that was Kroft instead of Smith, Josh would have made that throw. I don't think Allen would trust Smith to make that catch over Knox or Kroft
  12. That goofy Nick Wright slobbers all over Mayfield. Not taking anything away from Mayfield, he did me a solid trashing the Titans. Wright and Brandon Marshall got heated about which QB is better. Wright sunk his own argument saying Mayfield was better because of Cleveland's running game, and I'm like dude, you automatically showed which is the better QB. Allen hasn't had that same running game to fall back on, and compared to previous years, he hasn't run as much. All up to this point, the identity of this offense has all been Allen passing the ball
  13. I found it a little Brady-esque. But unlike Brady, Allen won't have to cheat
  14. One other thing that no one's mentioned, I loved the way Josh pointed out that penalty when Diggs got mugged coming around the corner. Sure enough, flag came flying A lot of people are comparing Allen to Newton or Roethlisberger in terms of style. To me, I think he looks a lot more like Elway
  15. I believe he took a shot to the head during that play, that may have attributed to his fumble. He looked shaky after getting up
  16. Guys, this isn't a Bryce Brown situation, Moss will have his share of fumbles. As posted before, give the kid a chance to atone
  17. #5 was the one I was blown away by. Off balance and running, geez. Insanely good throw
  18. I still remember last year when Watt threw a stiff punch trying to force a fumble. Hope he's on Allen's s**t list for that. As long as we have a good lead, take that boy to the woodshed just like he did Van Noy
  19. I don't see Moss losing any playing time over last night. I'm not sure Yeldon would make a difference in the run game, the run blocking isn't what it was last year. I think Moss bounces back, I did like the way he hit the hole on that run that got him dinged up. And I'm quite sure he wasn't happy with himself with the fumble. Give the kid a chance to atone
  20. The noise factor would be seriously amplified with a dome
  21. Here's the other advantage no one''s apparently thought about. With a dome, can you imagine how loud that stadium would be? Rich Stadium and the Ralph were bad enough, but to contain that kind of noise in a dome? No one would want to play us
  22. For this reason alone, there's no way the Pegulas don't build a dome. Allen hasn't fared well against the elements and we've all seen how well Allen plays with no elements involved. They're gonna provide this team with any advantage they can, especially for a franchise QB that's about to get seriously paid
  23. I have to give Allen all the props here. Most have said his best pass was to Davis on a 22 yard gainer over a defender. But for me, that pass to Beasley on the run was an insanely good pass. I don’t think there’s any team that can stop him when he’s playing at that high a level
