"tons" which is used frequently in phrases which makes no sense. It is a lazy writer's idiom. (When I was an editor on newspaper I rejected such use except in a quote) i.e. "He has a ton of talent" Bob Dylan song: Well, he catch you when you're hoping for a glimpse of the sun, Catch you when your troubles feel like they weigh a ton. From a cartoon site:

Elizabeth Hurley ridiculed for showing her jugs
Saxum replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall
Money (and heredity) however is a big factor - a women working a job 8x5 or more without a private chef and still need taking care of family has far less time available for workouts, etc. than Elizabeth Hurley. Not discounting the effort she and other women have made to keep the degradation due to time away. I have an Instagram account since some information is only available from there to members although I never post. She actual wore one of the swimsuits my wife worked on a long time ago. She posted a video of her nude (SFW) in the pool. Only did snapshot which would fit on this board. The video is available on this website for those who do not want to go to Instagram. https://www.marca.com/en/lifestyle/celebrities/2023/08/22/64e505d522601d5f608b4582.html -
You forgot Ernie Parker spirit coming to Jason Peters and telling him that before Superbowl to hold out for a lifetime contract or not play.
-
Likely teams are waiting for cuts (not all due to performance but cost) before breaking glass.
-
I agree with Simon. Bates was resigned by Bills matching Bears contract to be 6th lineman so there was one less lineman needed to be active. Morse’s play has degraded due to trying to trying to compensate for guard play.

At least those with psychiatrists had chance of getting better and access to medication.
-
it used to be Isaiah McKenzie.
-
Considering the "old message board" was closed out and patients let out of asylum without having psychiatrists visit them regularly to update their medication. Players are demoted for lack of effort often and do not pay back money already guaranteed so it should be same for players who perform more than which is expected. Maybe he should have complained to agent that he did not have incentive clause written in contract. Social Security signed him as a spokesman.

Since Matt Barkley will be out then the other Allen will need to play rest of game unless they sign an emergency QB. Any QBs names Barkley available just to confuse things? And no not Charles Barkley: “I played one football one day in my life, then I realized they were a bunch of damn idiots. Okay, they’ve just found out 30 years later you’re gonna have head issues and body issues. I knew after one day, I don’t want to do this every day.” -

Has anyone checked on Louis Riddick? (Trey Lance news...)
Saxum replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would rather he be on practice squad with Bills option to keep after season. Practice squad players can be protected and if another team is willing to offer before 53 man rosters are established so be it. Too much risk with him being on 53 man roster and certainly not experience to be QB2. -
With last name I assumed he was a musician.

Will Bruce Smith’s sack record ever be broken?
Saxum replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rusty was "promoted" to front office so Head Coach could have his buddy being head trainer. Rusty was vocal in that he did not want or need a promotion. After Ruben Brown had "a fit" regarding poor coaching being done he went to the Bears and told them that Rusty was unhappy in Buffalo and was reason why injures were so low so they signed him away. Injury rate went down for Bears and up for Bills. https://www.colts.com/team/coaches-roster/rusty-jones https://www.chicagobears.com/news/bears-director-of-physical-development-to-retire-9390398 -

Laywers will collect most of the money including paperwork, shipping and fax costs and plaintiffs 'residential and commercial business subscribers" will get coupons which expire quickly.

I am a big Taron Johnson fan and was going to get jersey before number changed. Had an order which I was able to cancel. Defense is going to change with Edmunds gone and would make sense to wait until they see how well he performs in it.
-
Even though I liked Darryl Johnson they traded him at right time. He played for three teams - Panthers, Seahawks and 49ers and on each team he got injured and put on IR.

Van Demark, a "Model" Fit for the Bills OL?
Saxum replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This tells us that he is good at following instructions from Kromer who is probably best OL coach he has ever had. The question is can he continue doing this at NFL speed and not fall back into old habits. -

Your power of observations are well known - you see what you expect to see and discard what does not fit. There used to be a Bills reporter who did that. -
Will Bruce Smith’s sack record ever be broken?
Saxum replied to ChronicAndKnuckles's topic in The Stadium Wall
Remember Bruce had Rusty Jones at time when NFL trainers were just telling to just eat lots of food but nutrition and training were not developed into a science. The NFL has improved the quality (Rusty did a lot of teaching) but you need someone who can teach AND motivate. Rusty Jones turned tubby Bruce Smith into powerhouse Smith. As Bruce said "Rusty Jones was worth his weight in gold." Oh and old timers remember when you curse Hank Bullough that he was the one who convinced Rusty Jones to leave Pittsburgh and work for the Bills.
