  1. Yep, 4 games is way too early to judge this team. I predict the band will jump back on the wagon by the half way mark...
  2. They will definitely win 3, and have a chance to sweep 4 with the Bengals at home. When I looked at the schedule prior to the season, I thought they would be lucky to be 2-2 at this point. They lost to the best team in football and a team most likely to win the NFCE. After this letdown, they will be pumped up to beat Tenn, and they will be motivated as a home underdog against the Bengals. They will beat the Jags in London, but then I would worry about another letdown against Miami at home, especially if they are 5-2 heading into it.
  3. While there is much focus on the Bills' failings, the Giants are a good team with a top tier QB. Yes, the Bills should've won this game, but this is no where near losing a game like they lost in Oakland last year.
  4. I'm pretty sure he said the same thing in either the post-game presser or his Monday presser.
  5. Giants will give the Bills a good battle. Home field advantage and the crowd should give the Bills the edge. 31-24 Bills. Hoping Goodwin is ready to come back to put some speed opposite of Harvin if Watkins can't go.
  6. im not sure it humbled him, and it's still bothering him by his reaction in today's Presser.
  7. How about putting these in the negative post thread? And to be fair, "can we go 8-1" goes in the positive thread...:-)
  8. I'm surprised Clay's ***cough*** bad knee(s) didn't buckle on that juke and cut....
  9. It didn't help that Rambo (I'm pretty sure it was him) bit on someone crossing the middle, who was already covered by 2 players.
  10. We'll get an idea after Bocephuz posts his OL review.
  11. Thanks, I enjoyed re-reading the over-reaction to the pick. It is risky to second guess Whaley and his team (Monos/Fisher). They've had two excellent drafts. No one hits on all picks, but they have done what good teams do, find contributors and starters in the later rounds. While some have labelled Cockrell a bust, Pitt picked him up and he's getting some playing time.
  12. While TT is no Fitz, I hope Whaley allows the season to play out before any extension talks occur. They have him locked in for at least 2 seasons, so there's no reason to pull a Nix here...
  13. Been my sig line for quite some time now...
  14. An interesting game. Both teams will be desperate for the W in the AFCE, and it's the first home game for the Fins and first road game for TT and the Bills. I think the Bill's O is getting close to breaking things open, but the first road game for TT has me worried. Fins have relied on the passing game, so this game comes down to the Bills' pass rush. If Albert is out, Jerry Hughes could be the difference maker... Bills 24 Fins 20
  15. Maybe one of you experts can look at this in more detail, but when I was looking at the All-22 from WGR yesterday, I was thinking it really took too long for the WRs to get to space, especially when compared to what the Pats and Brady do.
  16. Some did, some didn't http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/176946-the-afc-beast/
  17. Before the season started I thought the Bills would be lucky to be 2-2 after the first 4 games. I think they will most certainly hit that mark, and possibly be 3-1. They were resilient against the best team in football. all is not lost...
  18. Other options. There's the Lafayette Hotel too which is certainly walking distance to all or a block from the free main street metro rail. It has an upscale restaurant and a pub operated by Pearl Street Brewery. http://buffalobrewerydistrict.com/lafayette/about If you want to stay near the Elmwood strip, there's a new Inn in my neighborhood: http://www.innbuffalo.com/
  19. I sure hope I'm wrong, and the D holds them to 20 or less. However, that still means the O has to come through with >20...
  20. There is so much focus on Rex and his D against Brady, but this game will be won by G-Ro and what he does on O to counter Belichick's ability to confuse QBs. The Pats will score at least 24; the Bills will score more, and that will be the story of the game.
  21. I think you are dead on here. There is so much focus on the Bills D matched up against Brady, the key to this game will be the offense scoring more than 27 points to win the game...
  22. Looks as if Taylor was able to step into the throw to Clay it would've been a TD.
  23. No doubt he needed to stick that dude, and I hope Taylor lets him know it.
  24. Just watched that Harvin TD a couple more times. That was a great play by all. There is a perfect pocket, Taylor has looked off the safeties, so there is no deep help, and Harvin is steps ahead of his man. The throw looked smooth and effortless.
