I think Rex most likely runs the overall operation fine, and he has an excellent staff. I think the discipline or lack of comes from trying to be a players' coach, wanting to be their buddy, and his bloviating. He also is not a good game-day HC.

Another solid TE to complement Clay might be more valuable in Roman's offense. Vernon Davis could be relatively cheap short term option.
