  1. Gragg is fast, but it's more straight line speed. He hasn't shown much in his 3 years. By bringing O'Leary on the 53 man last year they must like his development and potential. Gronk Jr is the wild card. Clay needs to stay healthy.
  2. It will be interesting to see who gets plugged in if a team decides to go run heavy. TJ Barnes is the only space-eating NT the have on the roster at the moment.
  3. Might be a good idea to throw Taylor a bone this year, say $2 mil and more for every win > 8? A little good faith money so he feels wanted and wants to return if he plays really well.
  4. Watching Rex's response from his presser today, his reaction did not seem all in...
  5. rex was able to accomplish a 7 point swing last year on D, so maybe he'll do it again....
  6. maybe that refers to the guaranteed money which would not correspond exactly to the cap hit?
  7. I agree. Just saying I think they finally acknowledge it in this week's episode. After resurrecting Jon, it's time to make it official.
  8. i always hoped that arya's wolf would come back to the story somehow. From the preview, it looks like bran will see the fight at the tower of joy and I assume find out Jon's lineage. How he then informs, who knows?
  9. it might even cause some to bring back the debate between doug's flutie and rob's Johnson...
  10. yep, one coach's trash will be another's treasure...
  11. Watched a bit of Washington, and he did not impress at all.
  12. It's a bit like an art auction, value is in the eyes of the buyer. They were willing to trade for the first pick in R2, but got him at 41. It was a steal in the eyes of the Bills but not the naysaying Bills fans. We'll find out this season.
  13. yes, glad they didn't let this linger through the season because winter is coming...
  14. i'm pretty sure I heard Whaley say in one of the pressers that billings wasn't on their board--medical maybe?
  15. i was thinking on the same line, to offset the lack of a nose, you have a couple of stout LBs with decent enough athleticism to drop into coverage.
  16. just listened to that. Very good inside story from the war room. Thank god they didn't trade with Cleveland, that would've been a lot of ammo for the nattering nabobs.
  17. I've never seen them draft this well ever, but I wasn't in Buffalo in the 1980s, and they had two HOFs from the 1985 class. I really thought Whaley's first draft as GM in 2014 fit this description, but Kouandjio hasn't panned out...yet.
  18. while true, it had to be done. They paid Mario a boatload to get him here and hopefully change the culture about ufas going to buffalo (in a way, they did the same with shady). Keeping him meant no way to keep all of Glenn, incognito, and Gilmore. Going forward, I think they are closer to the point where they will be continuously re-stocking rather than filling a hole of their own doing. Get your sun glasses ready, the future is bright...
  19. Goodwin is put on notice....
  20. Nice call by those calling the Cook trade rumor a smoke screen for Jones.
  21. Right now I think Bryant is the starter in Washington's place, as he showed to be more than capable in replacing KW.
  22. i guess everyone has given up on Goodwin? Third year's a charm...
  23. good stuff. They were looking for partners beginning with Cleveland! One can look at the trade as Ragland was worth 800 (21st pick value), and they paid about 500 to get him. The last time I was this excited about. R2 pick was Sam Cowart!
