Yeah I agree. You don't have to be a part of that twitter group or be in anyway related to them to be called "Bills Mafia." At this point Bills Mafia is just synonymous with "Raider Nation" or "Bird Gang" and so on.
Exactly, the comparison is awful and frankly worthless. Who cares what his record was? It's not his record that counts, it's how well he played in those games that matters. Moreover, often the reason he had to throw 30 times was because we were behind due to our defense giving up 500 yards to a certain somebody who is 119-38 in games where he attemps over 30 passes.
He's a pretty solid back up. Well within the top 10. Hoyer, McCarron, Stanton, Mettenberger and Kaep are, off the top of my head, the only guys I'd put definitively ahead of EJ.
Going through reads seems to be a weakness already I guess. But I think his main weakness is staying in high scoring games. His efficiency is lowest when he's the only thing keeping us from being blown the f*** out.
Yup. If anything, he's got a chip on his shoulder now. He's not a PMSing girl, he's a football player, and at very least a businessman. He knows he has to play well to get paid well.
I'd love if the Bills signed him. According to bears fans, they disapprove of his being cut citing him as one of their best OL last season. It would be nice to get him as veteran backup or even starting material opposite of Richie. I know we want Miller on the field as much as possible, but we also can't afford to have him be a liability especially if we want Tyrod to succeed. The Rex Ryan/Kromer connections and cheap price tag make this plausible.
