  1. I think our aim should be to injure a Bengals player on every down to force injury timeouts
  2. Why can't we seem to stop them? It's garbage time for us not them.
  3. Yeah because you can go on and on about EJs 2 TDs and how much the defense sucks, but in reality He is still kinda trash. It's not his stats that suck but his inability to show up when we need him like on 3rd down
  4. I hear gym shorts is still available. Maybe he declined the phins position cause he knew we would have a slot open for him soon
  5. No Tyrod had better stats last week. He got the W which is the only important stat.
  6. Believe it or not I'm actually fine with a Corey/Rambo combo. As long as remembers to only hit guys on the other team, he is more serviceable than McKelvin at safety at least for the time being. Are there any packages in nickle or dime coverage where we can just put McKelvin on Eiffert instead of the Safety? That seems like the best opportunity to keep out best players on the field while not forcing McKelvin to play a position he hasnt practiced at. The downside of course would be the physical mismatch of putting a corner on a TE.
  7. What does this have to do with Whaley? He did good. We needed a vet backup until EJ proved he could hang on his own. If Whaley was arrogant, he wouldn't have cut Cassel in the first place. Basically we traded a 5th and 7th for a 6th and a 5th later on. By my math that's basically a 7th for a 5th. In no way was the trade a poor move. It just looks bad now that we have an unexpected injury. Honestly though I'm fine with EJ. The dude will ball out Sunday I think.
  8. He has been superbly underwhelming thus far. Like a turnstile, and offers no catching ability, so why not just put another OL there?
  9. I'd say EJ resembles a Big Ben/Aaron Rodgers type, if not a tad bit faster. He ran a 4.65 forty. For comparison Ben ran a 4.75 forty, and Rodgers ran a 4.71. They don't have blazing speed, but they can pick up third and longs on their feet if need be.
  10. Same. I saw that and thought, "they realise that EJ isnt slow, right?" I mean, he's not Tyrod, but his rookie season, he was pretty good at extending plays.
