  1. I was hoping yeldon falls to us based on looking at teams who need an RB more than anything else, but someone is bound to want him just because. Given Bevell's use of lynch, i dont know if CJ will fit in, but i hope he will. Plus it concerns me if the WR situation in Seattle is his fault or just a lack of talent....
  2. I like shwartz and pepper johnson, but i think they are best in their current roles. They make our defense play well, and promoting them could jeopradize that. A new, more important position for them isnt always the answer. A pay raise for them is in line though...
  3. Although he is under contract and all, if i were him i would be a little hurt if i were considered and then someone else who has less experience being the head coach (ie:reich) was hired instead. Knowing shwartz, he might be upset, or it could lead to tension. With that said, i dont want him to be HC, his track record is poor, and if he remains DC, the top 5 defense we had last year would be more intact as a unit. I just hope he takes one for the team here and understands if we bring in some new guy.
  4. Update: he aint going anywhere. He likes his job. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000453203/article/cowher-youre-not-going-to-see-me-on-the-sidelines?campaign=Facebook_atn_hanzus
  5. The question is: "Is there anything out there in the draft that we need and can't get in the second round worth our proven #1 WR?" The answer is probably no. Even if we miracluously snagged a #1 overall pick for last years #4 pick, who would we draft? Mariota is basically EJ Manuel 2.0, and Winston would be booed by fans if he got into more trouble in Buffalo (see: Marshawn Lynch). None of those guys is the second coming of peyton or luck...You can't just plug in a rookie QB into an offense with no WR1 and expect a winning season. This thread is ridiculous. I'd rather get cutler or RG3 or Foles. Unless we can trade Sammy for Andrew Luck, I'm not gonna be happy with a trade involving Watkins.
  6. Does any one have opinions on what players look promising or what position the Bills should use (usually more like waste) their first pick (#50 ovr) on? I have a few opinions: We should draft OG or Center. Possibly a RB because CJ is as good as gone. Potentially we could trade up for a first by trading for a high second by using players and then get a late first by packaging the 2 seconds and a few more players... Anyway, the best prospects close to #50 on the Big Board are: Landon Turner, OG (#47 on the big board) - 6'4, 314 lbs (By the way, he is the nephew of former Bill, Jim Braxton) Reese Dismukes, OC(#54 on the board, ranked the # 1 center in College Football) - 6'3, 295 (probably could make the move to guard or Wood could make the shift) AJ Cann, OG(a stretch at #34, but might fall if the teams before us dont need a lot of guards) - 6'4, 311 TJ Yeldon, RB (#39) - 6'2, 221

  8. Why not package CJ in there too, maybe even Gilmore. The raiders might take them for their # 33 overall because they need an RB and a Defense and those too guys are probably something the raiders would go for. A #33 is lose to first round, and we could package our 9now) 2 second round picks for a mid to late first if we include EJ. I'd hate to see EJ and CJ go, but it could be worth it. By the way, does anybody else agree that Mariota doesn't deserve to be drafted in the top 3? As a side note, he's too inaccurate and unpolished, basically EJ Manuel 2.0...
  9. Agreed. Every Wideout is crucial for the Bills because they are all experts in one thing or another.
  10. Cyril Richardson got BURNED on the Watt pick six. He looked really confused, looking inside before realising that Watt was streaking down on EJ. And I agree, it look like a combo of poor protection calls and maybe inexperienced players on our O line. They looked really good the first couple of games, not giving up a sack, but since EJ has declined, they look a lot worse...
