Also I think, even though he's not as fast as Tyrod, he needs to work a bit on switching directions. He commits so much to rolling in one direction, that when he gets to the sideline, he has to throw it away. Turning back around and going deeper in the pocket would help him extend a few plays.

I agree. Theyre rebuilding the position much like we did before we found Tyrod. You never know who will play well at the NFL level, so drafting and bringing in vets via FA is the best bet.

If it aint broke, dont fix it. I'd love to see Sammy get more touches, but he's good enough that Tyrod is able to get him the targets he wants on the outside and I wouldnt want to risk that with an experiment. But maybe it is worth a shot. As long as we dont keep trying it if it doesnt work out.
