  1. I knew this would be unpopular, but I saw the “Bills” helmet this morning getting decorated for this week’s game on FaceBook or something. I feel much better about my position - it’s ugly as hell and not a Buffalo Bills helmet. We have some of the greatest uniforms in sports, and they will be wearing this mess instead. I hope this meets their revenue projections, because there is no other reason to do a thing like this.
  2. I like it! I’ll mention that to my close Browns fans. I’m a lousy friend, but you might have guessed that already.
  3. Great! Now I’ll never be able to see a bidet again without the mental image of a five foot bunny getting a good schprutz! I bet those soulful eyes might light up, at least a little bit. That’s interesting. You’re looking for hot Asian women in @DrDawkinstein’s area? I won’t ask….. …
  4. I’d say that sums it up quite well! Trying to create a lose/lose proposition, so they can be right. We are far from perfect, but we are the only 4-0 team in the AFC, and one of two in the league. Our suckitude is being overrated. Let’s work on things, let the new guys learn and the unavailable return. I hope we are fully healthy for the playoffs so it’s more fair to judge. .
  5. He’s been a grab artist since he entered the league. He’s finally getting called for it, and it was too slow in coming. Get over it.
  6. …and I’d bet that some of our “fans” will do just that, because they are upset and want things their way and they are sure their way is the right way.
  7. We have a LOT of younger guys playing, and we are missing some of our best players on defense. Like judging a draft too soon, I’d like to see how this defense finishes the year before getting too excited.
  8. I think it’s very likely that he restructures, again, to stay around.
  9. More good football players is a good problem to have.
  10. I’m spending less and less time on the NFL’s lawn these days. (I bet that is Roger’s wife.) If it’s ugly, I’m not afraid to say so.
  11. It’s not even all whites. I’m OK with all whites, as long as the white is white and they don’t mess with the helmet. This is more the color of the abominable snowman in cartoons. They just want to sell more white gear. I’m not buying. . I’m getting over the NFL just fine, and it’s more than those ugly uniforms.
  12. And it’s not really even a true white. They even messed that up!
  13. Between that and those God awful uniforms in some college or USFL team’s colors, I’m glad I’ll be home for this one. Quit screwing with a great thing. EDIT: Because they are not as atrocious as the Steelers Bumblebee uniforms does NOT mean they are a good thing. .
  14. Somehow, I don’t think Chiefs are feeling sorry for us every year in the playoffs. 🤷‍♂️
  15. Yeah, but what would you pay to see the carnage in Philly if they sent him to the Bills, where he beat them as the SB MVP. PRICELESS!!!
  16. I suppose if you want to miss the big point, you can. We have been stuck behind the perfect storm. A first ballot HOF HC/OC, a first ballot HOF QB, and a DC at the top of his game with HOF Chris Jones as a chess piece. My point was the timing for this Bills team was unfortunate. Some opportunities were certainly wasted. But I still feel good about what we have and hope things bounce our way this year.
  17. So if you are up against Tiger Woods in his prime, do you just skip the tournament? Look, it’s been bad timing for the Bills while the KC dynasty was peaking, but we have a promising season ahead of us. Phil didn’t suck at golf, but he (and everyone else) had a hard time coming in ahead of Tiger. That’s the deal, so how do we best move forward? .
  18. Just reading the tread title must be like hearing your named called over the PA at school asking you to visit the Principal’s office. Or 60 Minutes showing up at your office. Nothin’ good is ahead for you.
  19. My wife. Other than that she’s pretty awesome, but it’s hard to get past the whole SB half time show thing. But I think the marriage can be saved with counseling.
  20. He’s about 5 feet tall, with eyes that see right into your soul. He can be found at a portal near you.
  21. Hey! That hair tells me you just might be pulling our leg. We're paying attention, you can’t slip that by on a bunch of sharp tacks like us! I hope he’s more like the Tin Man, and a couple well aimed squirts of oil can get him well lubricated on game days……like the rest of us.
  22. If I’m a fringe guy, I don’t leave the complex until I’ve figured out how I can help on Special Teams. I like to think that Solomon has that quick twitch, bendy skillset we slack elsewhere. I’d like to see him develop to know what we’ve got. It would be awesome if he reached his perceived potential.
  23. So, where is the outrageousness you claimed? What words did I put in your mouth? A) I never said “no better options were available”. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We don’t know who the better option was, and we won’t for several years. Could some guys help more next week? Probably. Who is best for us in the long term has yet to be determined. The Bills thought in the big picture Jackson was the right choice on draft day. They have long term planning to do as well as preparing for this season. They went with a premium position, which I don’t hate. B) Since we don’t yet know who the best long term option is, throwing out names with the hindsight of a quarter season really doesn’t mean much, at least not yet. Obviously, some players drafted behind him will go on to have much better careers. That is the probably case with 99% of draft picks. Only an idiot could lose at the game of “Could You Pick a Better Player” in the draft over the long run. Every team has hits and misses, not just the Bills. Some guys hit right away, some need time and some never make it. I’m willing to see how this turns out, and I’m not looking back with hindsight pretending I’m smarter than the Bills FO. .
  24. This need for immediate gratification is not the best long term plan, but some people can’t help themselves. Some things take time. They may or may not pan out, but I can guarantee you that Beane knew who else was available when they drafted each and every pick.
