There is an ebb and flow to every game. I generally say go for it, but it’s not a formula. You need to know the feel of the game for me to make a call.

KEF speakers are for the surround sound powered by the Marantz. Sonos are totally independent. I think you’re correct that there is a setting on the receiver that I need to find to get the rear KEF speakers working when we use the TV for music. It’s great when there is music in a movie, but not as good when just streaming music. .

Nope, just have them scattered around the house and run off our phones. I can watch TV w/ surround sound in the family room while the wife listens to music around the house. .

I have a Marantz receiver for surround sound, but I’m afraid to start playing with settings. The Sonos we just control with our phones. I may need to look for the manual and see what I can do without messing things up.

About 5-7 years ago I met a Chief’s fan in a hotel bar in Sarasota. My hotel totally lost power and they had to bump us up to his hotel. He was a great guy and insisted on us connecting and we did drunken things on our phones. He was dying for me to see his box, and I was with my wife. He wanted us for a playoff game! I’ll be damned if I had any clue how to find him, but I know he’s in there. It would be priceless to record him when I ring him up! Remember me? I didn’t like the “over-connecting” then, and I don’t like it now.

My early years were in Hamburg and I went to check it out a few years ago. Very nice little area and I want to go back when I have more time on another trip. Anyway, Colin Cowherd has mentioned multiple times how his wife used to cover Buffalo for her work. She tells him they are the nicest people you will find anywhere. I agree.

It was certainly not for his sliding ability! He looked like a baby giraffe out there. By all accounts he was a very fine young man. People wanted him to do well. He would have been a fine face for the franchise.
