…and if not for a couple goofy plays 12-1. Three losses by a total of 8 points is it? Yeah, it’s baffling that we can be this horrible and still be sitting in the #1 seed for the AFC. Do people realize that other fanbases have their own concerns and complaints? Nobody is perfect, and nobody is deep at every position. That’s life. Let’s peak at the right time and take home the trophy. It may not happen, and we are not perfect, but I have very little to complain about. Concerns? Sure. But I like the big picture.

Not to mention that one team cooks on the sideline while the other has 100% shade. Sorry, you can never convince me that is fair, and the league needs to address it. Speaking of Miami, I just heard on Maggie and Perloff (she’s a Bills fan) that the Dolphins took heaters for the game in LA last night. Good luck Saturday night in OP! I want more than a W this week! I want some revenge! (But I’’ll settle for a win if that’s how if falls.)

If the offense keeps struggling does Dorsey get fired ?
Augie replied to BuffaloBills1998's topic in The Stadium Wall
I used to avoid this place for a while after a loss. Now we are so spoiled you have to be careful after a win. We are #4 in points scored. Sure, there are things we could be doing better. That’s always the case…..but the sky is not falling. -
He plays in the NFL. They do this. I never said it was wise. NFL players play if they can play. They are aware there are risks.

He played because he could. It was a pain issue, not a concussion issue. I have zero issue with this, and mad props to the man who gutted it out.

Yes, that’s exactly what I was thinking. 🤔

I’m glad it wasn’t an autopsy. That guy got JACKED on multiple occasions. After that first (clean) hit by Milano, he came back and stood in there like a MAN. Respect that all day long.

I’m sorry, but I am STILL laughing about this! 😂

50 years ago today, the final game at The Rockpile
Augie replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Haven Moses was easy to like, and Butch Byrd is an all-time favorite! We had seasons back then and my dad had to go from 2 seats to 4 to avoid the fighting over who got to go with him! I just got some stuff to hang in the man cave. Among the collection are matted program covers ready to be framed. Some might remember those old programs with the cartoons on the cover. My favorite in the collection is the Dec 29, 1963 playoff game between the Bills and the Boston Patriots. Classic Bills artwork! Downtown or in the sticks? Would there be a dome? -
…..and built the team that is a favorite in Vegas to win the SB. Yet I have seen nobody claim we are perfect, as he would leave you to believe. We ALL know there are many faults and thin spots. Loudly claiming we are imperfect is merely agreeing with the rest of us. We get it.

Who, exactly, said they were perfect. Nobody I’ve seen. This was non-responsive when it comes to my comment. It was just another opportunity for you to take a dig and put a negative twist on things. Does that exhaust you? It does for many of us. Throwing in “I’m not saying they’re a bad duo” does not take away from the obvious slant you carry with you, Eyore. Wyatt Teller is gone, and 13 seconds is in the past. We learn from our mistakes, so we can move on and be better.

Mac Jones fined for flicking ball at Epenesa
Augie replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, Josh is a pretty good ball flicker himself. Did he get fined vs Chiefs? Either way, he can afford it, and it made me chuckle! He can afford $10k to give me a laugh! -
He thinks everything sucks, except for the things that are about to suck. The Bills like “specimens” like Josh, Edmunds, Brown, etc. Elam is a guy like that with size, speed and length. They can teach him different techniques to better suit what we do. He’s got all the tools, they just have to refine how he uses them. They knew what they were getting into IMO. .

You’re never broke if you have some checks left. 🤷♂️

2 Tickets for Jets Game if Anyone is Interested
Augie replied to EersN'Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
They would have to be free for you, I’m sure. -
You don’t want the “Rookie Wall” coming on game one of the playoffs. It’s the opposite of a vets day off. I’m good here.

Josh Allen helping folks get out of debt.

Let us hope he at least starts getting calls like Brady, without all the whining. -
It's WAAAYYY Overdue - Holding Calls Should be 5 Yards
Augie replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think we should reconsider the forward pass. The game hasn’t been the same since they started allowing the forward pass. . -
What will it take to earn his way back into your good graces, Mr Redemption? 😋 I don’t know everything that happened on the sidelines and field during the “13 seconds”, but I’m not going to let it eat at me. It happened, it was unfortunate and it’s over. The details will never be known, and that’s fine. We have a very talented and successful defense. I don’t know how much to attribute to the DC, the HC or the investment in talents. ALL of those things are factors. His age and the fact that the league leans heavily towards offense probably hold him back. One price you pay for success is that other teams want to poach your players and coaches. It’s a good sign that this is a topic, IMO. It reflects well on what we have built. .

Are you seeing dots? I can see Jets fans using this as though it’s a sink…..I mean urinal. I’d buy a replica of that at a reasonable price for the man cave. Seriously! I found a nice wall art piece about 7’ wide of the Ralph. I’m looking for something I like of the Rock Pile, but I don’t see much I like. I want all three stadiums represented. I got some of those 1960’s program covers matted and ready to frame. Those were iconic works of art only a Bills fan would fully appreciate. We got that instead of the dome. Seems like a fair trade.

49-year-old Terrell Owens wants to play for the 49ers

Can you settle for video of him doing sit-ups in his driveway? -
I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question. But first, I’m not SURE of anything. It seems it was exploratory surgery that found a partial tear. They were looking for his recent damage, and found more. Beane said something like “it wouldn’t have held up”. That implies to me it wasn’t fully torn, but was compromised and at serious risk. If that’s the case, it was never replaced, but even replaced ACL’s can tear again. The surgeons told us the graft was actually stronger than your own ACL, but stuff happens. . SSSSSSHHHHHH! You’ve said enough.
-
As I understand it, it was a partial tear. Beane said something about it wouldn’t last. Unfortunately, sewing it back up isn’t an option. You don’t fix it, you replace it. We’ve had a bit of experience with this, but I’d love to hear from someone (knowledgeable 😋) if that’s incorrect.
