Skydance Sports Inks Overall Deal With NFL MVP Josh Allen
BillsShredder83 replied to quincy's topic in The Stadium Wall
Saw it compared to Peyton's Omaha productions, and hoping thats true. No rush, but hope Josh sticks around the sport when hes all done. Super funny and likeable, would make a great cameo in movies too. Kinda like Roger Clemens in Dumb & Dumber, or Bill Romanowski in Benchwarmers. Dude likes his slapstick goofy comedies, and his fiance is in the industry, literally wouldnt surprise me at all -
9 years $82million earned. Good for him and #GoPack ! Nice move for the Bears, the Lions (and us) have got their turn as of late. Hoping Ben Johnson can help turn them around, this is a good start. I hate Chicago, but those fans deserve it

Players the Bills have met with at Combine
BillsShredder83 replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
Id much rather he adjust his approach then trade out of the type of picks we need. Were an extremely solid team top to bottom, we dont need more day 2 and 3 guys to "exceed expectations", we need bonafide stand out stars. Take TRUE BPA minus QB. His trading up hasnt worked out the best overall, but I like the aggressiveness, as its the only way to check both boxes of BPA & NEED at same time. Just use more caution to not over reach. I trust Beane to make adjustments, hes a top GM in this league whos finally getting some seasoning through experience. Play with fine tune knobs a bit -

Dude also had nearly a perfect score on the RAS (relative athletic scalwe). I follow that guy on Twitter.... he makes no claims to high rated players being the best or anything, its one component needed to excel in the league... but Spencer Brown was had in the 3rd and had a perfect 10.0, not something many players get. Interesting stuff, and Beane does have a tendancy to take genetic freaks -
I can't tell if this is good or bad LOL it looks like a lot, but I know those sites are very comprehensive in listing injuries. Is this good bad or meh?

Tag n trade seems likely. Lame, we just went from 1% chance to .25% -
Jets planning to either trade or release Devante Adams
BillsShredder83 replied to UKBillFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Devils advocate a bit here: Youre on the Raiders. Unserious franchise, bad coach, bad owner, bad QB. You're money driven, and your team is TRAAAASH with nothing to play for quickly. I want the ball, cause Im a WR, but also cause last payday. I could see a poor attitude like "5-12 or 4-13; who cares, gimme the ball at least" -

Boos on the road are cheers at home. Maybe we'll shower him with Gabriels Gate wings ? -

I tended to agree off the top of my head, and still do mostly..... but I fell victim to the old & (moistly expensive) WR's hype- and lumped him in with Hopkins, Beckham, Cupp, even Amari . He did a lot more with Jets in 11 games than I realized. Id still proceed with major caution but: -

Would they trade him for next to nothing just to keep him away from us or AFCE? It might not be that easy for Jets Although, he does NOT HAVE a no trade clause, he flexed his muscle into being traded to Jets, so I'm assuming he'll have leverage on where he goes. -

I get theyre buddies, but after last season why the heccc would he follow Aaron? I doubt hes ever been accused of being a MENSA member, but Rodgers missed him a ton. Jets: 11games // 67 rec on 114 targets // 58% Compl% // 854 yds // 7 td's (OK this last one jumped out after seeing it) Cant remember and too dumb to read Spotrac: Did the Jets give him a new deal or did the Jets inherit this only??? -
Hard Knocks Goes to College (UNC/Belichick)
BillsShredder83 replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dang it, this sucks. This is the version of Hard Knocks ive been pining for the most, and it delivered. Schoen is a walking duck, but absolutely loved seeing inside a front office. With that said Belichek and an inside look at a hopeful UNC college team, is one helluva consolation prize! Cant freakin wait 100% this. Theres no way he went to them. Dude proli hung up on them..... then AD got wind of it and told him its happening no matter what. Would be awesome to see a local college team of mine shoot up through the ranks -
Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
BillsShredder83 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
What part of 2023 Diggs (or even 2022) is supposed to make us believe he was any different than his 2024 version? Dude was disgruntled, phoning it in, and old. Half season of that version of Diggs is enough to convince any of us that Brady has no use for a true #1 WR? That we're voluntarily choosing to be run first versus stacked boxes, we prefer to spread the ball around in middle of field where it is heavily guarded and cramped because the defense is only having to commit the most bare minimum resources into protecting outside the hashes. Brady wants to run a balanced offense, with a bottom of the barrel outside attack. I don't see it. -
Give it to Brian Cushing and Bill Romanowski. Everyone gets free peptides and designer oils!!!

"Soon to be 30" - Garrett will be 29 until the very end of the season. Crosby turns 28 during preseason. Also, DE's have shown to age gracefully and have longevity. 30 isnt some magic witchcraft number. -"1st round pick". that first rd pick is #30, and likely will not have any 1st rd grades left. Its not a bad pick to have, but were talking about a HOF with several prime years left, who doesnt miss time really. At a position of need/premium position. Elite DE's are almost like QB's now. Good luck getting one thats elite in FA. Good luck finding a HOF DE at #30. I slightly prefer Crosby, but would defecate from my urinary tract if we landed either

That aint gunna change much if we give Cook 12-15m. Let dude walk, next man up. This is 50% of the reason we invested so heavily in OL... let the boys work, get you a speed back to pair with Davis and let the boys eat. Davis is an elite pass blocker already, and he catches a lot of balls. Dont remember any drops either
-
We can find someone better in the pass game. Barkley has not been asked to catch the ball as much as of late, but dude had 90 catches as a rookie. You pay a guy that is a true dual threat and can pass block. Cook is not an elite route runner or pass catcher, his pass blocking hurt us in AFCCG. Drops too many balls. Im never paying an elite 'running only' RB. Barkley and McCaffrey are exceptions to the RB rule because they are weapons in pass game. Henry is the rare exception, and the only one in the last 15years that deserves to be paid based on running only... but he also is a pass blocker. Go upgrade him as a weapon, get cheaper, lose a little carrying skill set dep't, gain some in pass catching dep't, and have him be a 3rd down back. With this OL, it wont be hard to do.
-
Too bad he had to publicly be a d-bag. He couldve kept this internal and made a trade easier. He didnt kill his trade value, but he hurt it. We sure AF arent paying it,we woulda had more options that are realistic from the teams side of things. Cant get paid if we dont have a fair trade partner. Shoot him to the moon draft weekend. His trade value wouldve been at his highest without this news.
-
We have a nasty OL, and Cook has stone hands. DO NOT GET ME WRONG, i love what dude brings to the table. but we have an absolutely filthy OL that will only get better with another year of continuity!! I like what Davis brings as a compliment, and we can get a young back that is similar. Package him with some picks for Crosby, Garret, or a WR maybe. Or trade him for picks. If he was the pass catcher he was advertised coming out as, id be on board.... but he is as high as he always looks if he thinks hes getting $$ better than Saquan.

Kurt Warner's analysis of the Super Bowl
BillsShredder83 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is it possible we WANTED to go to this, but personnel kept us from being able to do it? Drafting Elam was a marker towards a desire to change philosophy, but he didnt work out, this was right arounf the time Poyer / Hyde were at the end of the line, so Elam was step 1, and we woold have a chance to start getting the correct players as the old guys left? Maybe Bishop fits that mold but we werent able to change scheme yet this year, so we decided to ride it out with the players scheme they were brought in for? Our man 2 man rates were much higher as well the last 2 years Just a thought. I have no clue if true and am only questioning lol so dont flame me -
I keep seeing Tetairoa McMillan Ariz WR going in the 17th-18th range. Anybody have thoughts on this guy lasting until then, and if hed be a good fit?
