  1. Biden appears to be alive, doing his late-stage yelling and occasionally failing to keep up with the teleprompter thing. That's all he needed to do at the debate. Not the teleprompter; just the yelling. Trump proved that it doesn't matter whether what you yell is responsive to the question. If you are loud enough and repetitive enough they'll say you were forceful and successful. The lack of a live audience worked to his detriment even though that's what his team negotiated. Just as well. You're in a better place now, Joe ...
  2. ⬆️ Hasn't sunk in with him that everyone other than about 10% of voters fully understands exactly what Trump meant. Even most of his supporters know what he meant; that's why they're his supporters. Wasn't that the same speech as "stand back and stand by?"
  3. ⬆️ Blood coming out of his eyes, or, err, his ass ...
  4. Angry Megyn! In the words of a great man: I can almost see the blood coming out of her eyes or, umm, wherever.
  5. And for the 1001st time: please point out to me the "very fine people" who thought marching alongside avowed racists and Nazis was just a wonderful thing to do
  6. That's no fun, now, is it ...
  7. Funny, you appear to be describing a guy who has no business running for reelection who suddenly came to his senses. UNRELATED: Jill's face is awfully tight for a woman of her age. And is Ashley the messed up daughter?
  8. Julie is either incredibly stupid or she thinks her followers are stupider still. (Or both). The section of Bragg's argument she highlights is about an objection by TRUMP's attorneys to the People's "public sentencing submission." And the People (Bragg) point out that the sentencing memorandum will remain under seal UNLESS the court otherwise orders. In other words, the exact opposite of what Julie is saying here. But that's o.k. BMan fell head over heels for Julie again.
  9. Don't you have another Bills forum to post this on before you double or triple post here?
  10. At least he didn't revert to the horse thing.
  11. True. One thing you will not hear this week: any Democrat (including the many who voted for him in the primaries) pining for Biden. Please go out and find me one. If you can't, I'm not gonna worry about anyone being "disenfranchised." They exercised their franchise, their candidate dropped out, his second in charge replaced him and will now all of his delegates will vote for her.
  12. But how's your golf game?
  13. Regarding Sturgis. Many very fine people ride there on their Harleys. Even some on Hondas. And many not so fine people too, and some very unfortunate ones. The official counts for 2024: - Motorcycle deaths: 12 (9 on Harleys) - 7 pervs caught this year in a sex trafficking sting - 134 DUI arrests in Sturgis alone - 135 felony/232 misdemeanor drug arrests - $71,500 in seized cash (typically related to drug offenses) Those law abiding Trumpnecks. But you won't see this on your alt-right Twittersphere.
  14. Never thought I'd see Sturgis full of Hondas. I mean, you're saying that it's full of Hondas, right?
  15. Don't look for any consistency or logic in their comments.
  16. They make Kamala look somehow a lot cooler and a lot hotter than in real life. Nicely done!
  17. What was wrong with that? I mean, other than you don't like the message.
  18. What was wrong with that? Ladies first, even if the husband is president.
  19. Historical analogues: - Media coverage of FDR, 1942: 98% positive - Media coverage of Emperor Hirohito: 100% negative - Media coverage of LBJ, 1964: 96% positive - Media coverage of Ho Chi Minh: 99% negative Point: Sometimes Media coverage is negative for a reason.
  20. I only have the money for a very special occasion Grand Cru. And those are not getting shared. Sometimes with my wife, but I'll have to think about it.
  21. I know. I get it. I only raise that issue to point out that no matter how doctrinaire people think they are about the 2nd Amendment, they nevertheless admit that some restrictions on where you go with a gun are necessary.
  22. I'd move to a tiny house in Dunkirk before doing that. But right now I'm more concerned about an additional Trump tariff on Bordeaux enacted to protect @sherpa's burgeoning production.
