I realize that most people like Davis better. But I was talking to someone in my network who LOVES Mike Williams. Said he would take him every time over Davis and that Williams will be great in the NFL. He just is such a physical player that you don't need to move around.
If you get Mike Williams you play him as the #1 WR (on the other team's best corner) and move Sammy around in the offense.
Analytics guys like Davis better, people I know that are more old school tape guys prefer Mike Williams.
Yes, Bill B can switch his defense up every week.
It comes down to how you build your team. Patriots favor intelligence and versatility in draft picks allowing Bill to change things up and attack opponent weak spots. Seattle drafts size/speed/power guys and lets them loose in a simple scheme where instincts take over and less game planning.
Bills need to follow Seattle model as our players are not drafted for football IQ. That's why Rex's schemes were a failure here. I think Rex needed Belichick style players like he had in NY(Mangini) in order to run his complex schemes.
His teams did better in yards per game.
6 of his 8 years his defenses finished worst than the Rob Ryan/Rex Ryan defense of the Bills last year in points given up.

I'm not a huge Whaley fan but I would prefer he have final call over a 1st year head coach. Coaches usually care about the next game. They are tactical, not strategic.
Only a few coaches have shown the ability to think long term such as Bill B and Pete Carroll.
We shall see what happens during the draft but I suspect the Pegulas haven't put much thought into the inherent weaknesses in their organization structure.
Last year he was sitting with the Pegulas. And Sean the Wrestler mentioned that Terry has a voice in the draft room!
That could be the 2017 Marketing Rollout.
1. A Real General Manager hired.
2. A QB drafted in the 1st. Mahomes or Trubisky
3.Bills bring in a top QB guru to develop them
4. Coach reports and works under General Manager
5. Football Executive hired to protect scouting and coaching from interference from ownership, marketing, and business.
Eric Galko of Sporting News had some interesting thoughts:
Mitch Trubisky and Buffalo. He thinks Buffalo wants him badly.
He thinks SF 49ers have Trubisky as the top QB on the board but will pass because of Cousins possibility
Bears have Mahomes as top QB on their board. 2nd round options for Bears would be Watson or Kizer.
Do Bills move up for Trubisky?

Yes, I was talking to another Bills fan over coffee today. I was trying to cheer him up on the Bills! We both are on the get a QB bandwagon and have agreed to add a 2nd team to our football Sundays. If the Bills don't draft a QB we will follow whatever team gets Mahomes also.
It's not that I will stop watching the Bills. It's just time to enjoy the game again. Watching this team getting its lights punched out week after week, year after year has grown old.
