To be honest I appreciate the people with information that share here. As far as problems for the Bills, I guarantee every NFL team has a mock draft and can pinpoint who we are really looking at. I don't think NFL teams learn anything but we fans get some insight not seen on ESPN or Buffalo News.

There is no theory. The NFL does want bigger markets to do well and doesn't care as much about markets like Buffalo as long as they keep their fans engaged. My point was that everyone outside of Buffalo is happy to have Buffalo remain out of sight and out of mind. The Pegulas need to show loyalty to Buffalo fans first and actually start running their teams like smart people that want to win.

I suspect that players from earlier decades had no preparation. I find it hard to believe today's QBs seem to have higher average scores. I think most of the top players get special test prep to do better on the test.

Green Bay has always had a loaded WR core. Yes, the QB helps but they also have found players later in the draft and the Bills have not found a WR past the 2nd round since Stevie J. RB? Yes, we have a better one that we traded for. Philly drafted Shady. Sammy we spent 2 #1 Picks on. That's not great drafting or scouting. Everyone knew Sammy was a good WR. Clay was drafted late by Miami and signed to a big contract by the Bills. Not a Bills draft success.

My assessment? I expect this team to draft to fill needs in the first few rounds and then draft Chad Kelly later to have a new QB story line to sell the fans.

Yes, Micah Hyde was a 5th round pick for them that the Bills just paid 32,500,000 to. Please name a recent Bill drafted in the 4th round or later that received a similar contract. By the way, the Bills current GM set up the 2013 draft board. In the same round as the Packers got Micah Hyde the Bills drafted Jonathan Meeks and the round before Duke Williams. Neither of the safeties the Bills drafted were even decent BACKUPS! Green Bay > Buffalo

This draft will be a great litmus test for Sean McDermott. If he just looks to fill roster holes for 2017 I think it's safe to assume that the Bills are once again in over their head. Hard to win when your drafting is based on short term needs and has no greater vision.

Gather intelligence. Nothing wrong with that as it helps you know what is going to happen and trade opportunities available.

Do you understand where the NFL's money comes from? The people at the top of the food chain have no interest in Buffalo having a good team. They want the teams in Dallas and New York to do well. That's not a theory. That's business. That's why the Pegulas need to stop just talking to their other buddy billionaire friends and get some real outside the box thinking in here. I would not let the other NFL teams "advise" me who to hire as they are in competition with me.

The Buffalo Bills are doing exactly what the top brass in the NFL wants. Lose to New England twice a year and keep their fans somewhat engaged despite no chance at playoffs. They don't want us to have a top pick because we might take a top QB and they don't want us to make the playoffs. They want the Bills to win 6 or 7 games a year. They even praised us for hiring Sean McDermott which was a huge red flag to me as nobody wants the Bills to improve except WNY fans.

I find it hard to believe no QB in this draft can throw for 200 yards a game.

Fitz had everything you could ask for in a QB except the arm talent.

I'm with you but most fans will accept it. If the QB was already in place you could make an argument for it. But with no franchise QB spending 3 #1 picks on WR is Matt Millen era Lions.

Chris Godwin. Get him in in rounds 2 or 3 and #2 WR is more then covered.

I only want to spend 1 pick on QB. That's all I have requested. That leaves 6 (pending decision on MG)other picks to grab zone cover corners, linebackers, WR's , etc

Why would I bet on whether Tyrod is here or not next year? I can't get inside the heads of the people that run the Bills. Logic goes out the window. So our owner is a 3 year old?
