The people making fun of the Browns need some humility. This draft is LOADED with talent and the Browns have a million picks. They could pass the Bills this year if we mess up this draft and they hit on guys.

I disagree. Harder to create one of the top 3 defenses of the last decade.

It's hard to create one of the top defenses in the NFL in the last 15 years. Both of those teams were some of the best defenses to come along in the NFL recently. Neither team seems to be a model we could follow. The Seahawks absolutely killed multiple drafts where they were finding Pro-Bowlers in late rounds.

I would argue that the most money spent in McD's scheme should be front 4 and the Mike lb.

Sure, it's a need. But using a top ten pick to fill random needs is not a recipe for success.

Last year's draft was a total trainwreck. 3 picks on an inside linebacker who people wonder if he can play 3 downs. An injured DE that they move to linebacker. A DT in the third when they should have taken the QB they liked and even then, got outplayed by DTs taken later by other teams.

If McDermott runs the draft then we are back to the Jauron days. Drafting fast, smaller players to fit the bland zone cover scheme of the defensive head coach.

Corey Davis. Great prospect but doesn't make sense for a team with a high 1st round pick that spent 3 picks (including 2 1st round picks) on Sammy Watkins and still doesn't get him the ball and does not have a long term answer at QB.

I am pretty sure Godwin or Samuel would be in the top 3 WR's for Buffalo this year.
