If he turns into Ray Lewis it is easily worth that. That's not a likely scenario.

With respect to Mahomes, there is a great article on a website we are not allowed to link to. Author is Doug Farrar. He points out that Mahomes ran a much more complex offense than what scouts think of as traditional Air Raid where he had to know and call the oline protections, running back protections, go through multiple reads, and read defenses pre-snap and audible into other plays.

Don't forget the Run up the middle, Run up the middle, Incomplete on 3rd and Long Hackett offense.

Chris Godwin, Joe Mixon, Tre'Davious White (if he falls into 2nd), and Curtis Samuel.

Awful draft management. The Tyrod contract had a 1 year out. The Bills did not believe Tyrod was franchise before last year's draft.

The Air Raid stuff is just lazy. The college scheme becomes an excuse not to scout the traits. As for best in the class? No. I liked Webb as a later round guy but when I saw him flying up the board I wouldn't use a 1st or 2nd on him. Depends on value, I would have considered it 3rd or 4th round.

It has been reported by the insider guys on this board that the Bills loved Dak and were going to take him in the 4th.

Many fans have been sold the line of waiting another year. I completely agree that if you believe in a QB you go get them. Sitting and waiting your turn has been tried by Buffalo for the last two decades and look what it has got us. Constant 6 and 7 win seasons. I don't think it matters if the Bills like Trubisky because he will be gone before we draft and I don't see Pegulas or Sean McD having the stones to go get one.

Yes, they should have not traded up for a 3-4 inside linebacker and taken Dak Prescott. Cardale is fighting to stay on the roster this year. My point was that many people said 2016 QBs were weak, wait till 2017!

The person is part of the overall grade. If a team finds out a talented player doesn't like football they will be removed from the board or dropped several rounds.

We all hope so. But the problem is that the Pegulas have an awful track record in hires. 0 for 7 so far (I'm counting Bylsma as a failure who will be fired in the next year). They didn't listen to Whaley when they hired Rex and now hired McDermott on their own as well.

Sorry, I read your post wrong. Solomon Thomas or Jamal Adams. Maybe Taco or Barnett. Probably would trade down as I see Njoku and Jarrad Davis as equal to or better than Howard, Ross, Davis, etc

Mahomes, Trubisky I like in the first round. After that I like Josh Dobbs and would also consider Chad Kelly late or as a FA. Non-QB guys? If Mahomes or Trubisky are gone I would see if any elite players are left. Solomon Thomas as an example. If not, I would try to trade down. Players I like later are Jarrad Davis, David Njoku.
