  1. This game felt as a real as professional wrestling. Sports was so much fun as a kid, now it's a chore to watch this crap.
  2. Bills have only spent 2 picks on QB's in the first two rounds in the last 20 years. Despite that criminal neglect of the most important position many Bills fans continue to defend not drafting QB's and just being glad to be in the NFL.
  3. Great post. It will be interesting to see what McDermott and Frazier do to accommodate Ragland or they just run their schemes and he ends up playing strong side linebacker for 2 downs.
  4. I thought it was getting quiet from the marketing/Russ Brandon people. How can they pull another rabbit out of their hat for 2017? Sounds like they are working on getting suckers in the seats for another year.
  5. The Bills are not keeping Tyrod as a bridge QB. I don't know why people don't listen to what the Bills themselves have said. They said they will only pick up the option if they feel he is the long term answer. So there will be no "middling" this. Either he is the guy or he is not. If we keep him we're not drafting another QB high. So if you want Tyrod stop saying we draft someone also. Unless you count late round picks like Cardale.
  6. An injured DB. Welcome to Buffalo!!!
  7. Patriots have Brissett who they really like. Brady with the HGH shots could play another 4 years.
  8. Maybe there is a connection we're not seeing. Mike Shanahan is the real GM and Lynch is the public face?
  9. Anthony Lynn did a great job here and I wish him the best. I think many people think just calling Roman's plays was easy, Lynn deserved his shot.
  10. While this looks terrible on paper as a football fan I would love this to work. The old boys network needs a shakeup or two and if a guy with no experience does well what does that say about the current process NFL teams use?
  11. Ok, I think you have answered the question to my satisfaction. One person said they would not be happy having spent 30 million on a QB if we won 6 games. The rest tried to change the subject and not answer the question. I will take that as yes most would be fine paying TT 30 million if the Bills won 6 games as long as TT could not be identified as playing worse than he already has.
  12. Given Tyrod's skill level, cap level and style of play and other options at quarterback, is it in the Bills' team best interest to pick up the option so that he is here for the next few years. If the answer to that is yes, then you pick up the option in context of Buffalo's roster compared to other teams in the division and league. That's what my question was trying to get out of you but you have had multiple attempts to answer it and don't want to answer the yes or no question I posed.
  13. Thank you. There's no right or wrong answer. Just wanted to know if people would regret spending 30 million on a QB if he stayed about the same but the end result was 6 wins, for example.
  14. I'm not asking you to use wins and losses as a QB stat. Just running a thought experiment. If you knew the Bills would win 6 games next year with Tyrod would you sign up for it or not? Yes or no question. Not asking you to evaluate the season or wins or losses. I'm telling you they win 6. Just for fun. Now where do you stand given the information I just gave you?
  15. Tyrod throws for 3100 yards, completes 62% of his passes with a 7.7 yards per attempt. Starts 15 games. Wins 6 games. Do you sign up for it?
  16. 4. But regardless, the Bills win 6 games next year. You in?
  17. The more things change, the more they stay the same in Bills country!
  18. I'm not rating the QB on wins and losses. I'll ask you a more direct hypothetical. I have a crystal ball and the Bills win 6 games next year with Tyrod Taylor at QB. Tyrod leads a top 3 rushing attack and a bottom 3 passing game. He is pretty efficient and throws less than 20 TD's while limiting turnovers to ten. Would you pay 30 million for this known result over 2 years?
  19. Wrong. The Bills had a pick ahead of the Cowboys in the 4th but used it to move up for a 2nd round linebacker that many view as a 2 down player in the NFL.
  20. If the Bills keep Tyrod you can stop talking about QB's. The Bills said they would only pick up option if he is the long term answer. Expect only occasional stabs at guys after the third round.
  21. Many here believe Whaley found his QB in Tyrod.
  22. For those who think the Bills "are close" what is the acceptable amount of wins for Buffalo next year? What is the minimum standard for success paying a QB about 30 million over the next 2 years? Just wanted to understand the thought process. If Tyrod wins 6 games was it worth the investment? Is 8 and 8 the standard?
  23. Do you have reading comprehension problems? Can't help you with that. Try again.
  24. Yes, I understand that you are saying that there is a college "it" factor and EJ was fine there. Ok. But I never said that it factor was something that could be viewed through a college lens. All I wanted to say was that at the NFL level, a different game than college, some QB's have it and some don't. Most people move down players that perform poorly at the college level but that hasn't been enough to find the diamonds as EJ, Tim Tebow, Johnny Football all were college winners.
