  1. "Sequined Menace?" What else could that POSSIBLY mean...and/or how is that "misrepresented," as it is presented here EXACTLY how you put it. It's pretty clear. Especially after posting the article about the kid and his decision. An offensive remark, is an offensive remark...whether it's in this thread or in the shoutbox. "Misguided?" My feelings towards these things are not misled...they are 100% spot-on. I have no beef with YOU, I have beef with the things you say...the Serafin comment is judgmental, in every way possible. But, it's clear you are the type that can never be wrong...so I will give it up here. Everyone have a good evening...Go Bills! PS. Lighten up? About insulting addicts, people who suffer from depression, and/or gay people? I'm sorry, I can't. EDIT: I know we are all capable of better conversation than this...let's get back to that and keep the insults to ourselves.
  2. You were trying to argue that what was said about Robin Williams was not "offensive," or, "in poor taste." Then you posted that (or "shouted" it)...and I was just curious? It has to do with this thread, because "offensive" comments were being discussed...and you made another one. We live in a world today where people are very different from one another...but why does that make it okay for someone to insult that person and the kind of life they live? I just don't understand it, at all. It blows my mind. To think you have to insult a football player because he finally finds it within himself to live HIS life for HIM? Or, to insult my football intelligence because of the type of music I listen to...like yesterday? It's mind blowing man...I just cannot grasp it, and for that...I guess I am sorry? Or, maybe I am just different...I have many gay friends, I love them like they are my brothers. I have also battled addiction and depression for a very long time, at least a decade...and as far as I have come, and although I would never take my own life, I hope to God that if I passed, you wouldn't be on here cracking jokes about my death. It's hard to open up like this, because I KNOW I WILL be judged...but if I didn't stand up for this, who am I? (I'm not who I want to be and I am no kind of "man" if I don't stand up for what I believe in.) *** I am not trying to start an argument again, I am just trying to understand this a little better. ***
  3. @ Jauronimo : (14 August 2014 - 06:06 PM) The red sequined menace (referring to the gay ASU football player.) I take it that's not meant as an offensive jab, either? Stay classy.
  4. I got you covered, Astro...PM me your phone number so I can call you on Monday afternoon and give you details.
  5. Michael Carter, who was cut...and replaced by dreadlocked Bobby Felder, who's might be longer. Lol. As evident by my picture...the Bills have the most hair in the NFL!
  6. You act as if he is the only one? The Bills have at least 16 players with dreadlocks. (Hope this link works...Bob Marley would undoubtedly be a fan of the Buffalo Bills.)
  7. http://skoodsports.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/rgiiiwilbon1012a.jpg Another QB who dominated with a visor during his rookie season in the NFL. I think it's a pretty absurd assessment of a QB...so, no, not doomed, at all! Lol. EJ Manuel has bigger issues than wearing a visor...let's worry about those. You can say college is a different game, and that's true...but look at the NFL QB's on that list. They had zero problem winning the job, winning over their teammates and/or getting the job done on the field. I hope EJ Manuel, visor or no visor, can develop into half the QB that some of those guys are already.
  8. Peyton Manning http://ww.tmnews.com/stories/2010/08/04/ul_S_Manning_080410%2BZ.jpg Carson Palmer http://blog.thenewstribune.com/seahawks/files/2011/03/091608CarsonPalmer.jpg Phillip Rivers http://images.fanpop.com/images/image_uploads/Rivers-philip-rivers-420872_1024_768.jpg Cam Newton http://img.bleacherreport.net/img/images/photos/002/522/733/181799717_crop_north.jpg?w=630&h=420&q=75 Michael Vick http://nbcsportsmedia1.msnbc.com/j/msnbc/Components/Video/2007/January/070131/070202_vick_vmed_3p.widec.jpg Jim McMahon http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/si_online/covers/images/1991/1202_large.jpg Ben Roethlisberger http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/000/916/000/109917621_display_image.jpg?1304538864 Johnny Manziel http://static.nfl.com/static/content/public/photo/2013/05/06/0ap1000000167063.jpg Nick Foles http://a.espncdn.com/photo/2013/1020/nfl_e_foles_b1_576x324.jpg Dennis Dixon http://media.oregonlive.com/nfl/photo/dennisdixonvsatlantajpg-9a65cec52bbeb285_large.jpg (There are plenty more, including a lot of good college QB's who have worn them...but it's safe to say this is an absurd thread.) Colt Brennen, Terrell Pryor, Troy Smith, Marcus Mariota, Brandon Weeden...they all wore them in college as good QB's.
  9. This is the most comical thing I have ever read...is that Skooby? Cam Newton DOMINATED his rookie season, WITH a visor...as did Michal Vick. Pretty sure Jim McMahon won a Super Bowl, wearing a visor. Colin Kapernick has worn a visor, as has this guy named Peyton Manning. http://ind.scout.com...orm-ad-visor-y? It's practice and the preseason...who cares what they wear? Clearly it has zero outcome on them as a player.
  10. What is the connection here? Before last year, Marrone and Robey had nothing to do with eachother.
  11. I would have rather drafted Logan Thomas in the 4th round, if we were going to draft a QB this year. Pretty sure I even mentioned the idea here or on twitter, and got laughed at...and the kid looked very good last night. 11-12, 113 yards and 1 touchdown (that should have been a sack). Sure, it's his first game...but it was still an impressive performance for his first time on an NFL field. I think the sky is the limit for this kid, especially with who he has around him...including his head coach.
  12. Every year there is that one player that I really hope the Bills take a chance on...this year it was Seantrel Henderson. I even tweeted at Eric Wood about the Bills taking a mid-to-late-round flier on the kid...and he did not seem interested in the idea. I've watched the kid since he came out of high school as not only the best tackle, but the #1 recruit in the country...he reminded me of Bryant McKinnie. There's zero doubt in my mind that if he stays healthy and out of trouble, the Bills are going to have a nice problem on their hands in the near future. He could end up being a dominant left tackle in the NFL...only question is, what do you do with Cordy Glenn? (I don't think he accepts a move inside.)
  13. I'm looking at it the other way, call it selfish if you want...but I want them BOTH to pan out, so we can trade one down the road. Wouldn't it be a nice problem to have, if we ended up with 3 starting-caliber OT's...and were able to trade one for a 1st round pick in the future? That is MY "hope." (Because that means we are a hell of a football team, with enough talent we can flip some to keep stockpiling...like good teams do.)
  14. If this is true...in the 2015 draft, I think we can bet on the Bills drafting one of... - Todd Gurley: 6-1, 226 lbs (my choice) - Melvin Gordon: 6-1, 213 lbs - TJ Yeldon: 6-2, 221 lbs And if history means anything lately, they should all be available in the 2nd round...so maybe grabbing a 2nd for Spiller would work. (I do not advocate trading Spiller, especially if they expect to make a run at the playoffs...but if he's going to walk, you need to get something for him.) Absolutely not...plus, Spiller is not the kind of RB the 49ers seem to like...Gore, Lattimore and Hyde are all pretty big backs. (The Saints would be a perfect spot for CJ Spiller...even the Rams or the Cardinals.)
  15. I have no clue if this has been posted, but I almost threw up when I saw it... http://izquotes.com/quotes-pictures/quote-i-always-think-i-m-the-tom-cruise-of-music-a-lot-of-success-and-fans-but-no-critics-darling-jon-bon-jovi-97441.jpg (Sorry, IDK how to post a picture, other than just putting the link in here.) I do NOT want this guy and his ego anywhere near the Buffalo Bills...I'd honestly rather have Donald Trump as our owner. I'll add, Trump already thinks he is hot-poop...owning an NFL team would make JBJ's ego grow, whereas Trump would remain hot-poop.
  16. Bill Polian...without him, is any of this possible...or are any of these guys even on the team? It didn't say anything about players, just the best Buffalo Bill from the 1990's. A beautiful house or building is never credited to the construction workers, it is always credited to the architect. That is Bill Polian. EDIT: And he built FOUR absolutely gorgeous "houses/buildings," unlike anything we'll ever see built again.
  17. I'd say that second picture is the most questionable of all...what a classy fella, that Jerry Jones. After taking a quick second glance...are his freaking pants down in that picture?!? LOL!
  18. So, did you catch the FOUR HOURS of BILLS talk this morning? We have 2 hours of Sabres talk right now...and then SIX MORE HOURS OF BILLS talk tonight! TEN HOURS should be plenty enough for BILLS talk, no?
  19. Seriously...and he was insulting my maturity? Between this and the WGR post...
  20. He was hired and brought on board before his workout with the Patriots...there is no official "retirement" from Brady Quinn, and especially no announcement...yet. And as he said...
  21. He has been in the league 4 years now, bounced around to 4 different teams...and got beat out by Ramses Barden with the Giants, whom the Bills just cut. Is it really THAT ridiculous? I think it's more ridiculous that people think this kid can grow into some kind of "Wes Welker" type of WR. And again...just go look at the WR groups he got cut out of by the 49ers, Dolphins and Giants...and tell me exactly why you think he is some kind of up-and-coming WR in the NFL? EDIT: Let me add...I think that last WR spot should go to someone who has potential to grow into a capable WR in the NFL...not just someone for special teams...that is my issue with Chris Hogan.
  22. I don't get the Welker comparison, at all...is it because he is white? Wes Welker is 5-9, 185 lbs and runs a forty yard dash in 4.65 seconds...he went to Texas Tech University...and holds numerous NFL records. Chris Hogan is 6-1, 220 lbs and runs a forty yard dash in 4.45 seconds...he went to Monmouth College...and holds zero NFL records. Besides being white, being a slot WR, and going undrafted...I see absolutely ZERO similarities between the two players. (Oh yeah, and they also both spent a short period of time with the Dolphins, but Welker actually made their squad and played in a regular season game.
  23. Sam Adams and Ithaca Brewing Co. (*etc.) is much better in taste and quality than Labatt and Molson, in my opinion...they might "win" in cheap/strong beer, but that's about it. (*Yuengling, Killian's, Blue Moon...there's so many more.)
  24. But, he retires after only one season in Madden franchise mode! Seriously though, I am glad he will be here until the end of the road for him...he deserves to retire a Buffalo Bill, and soon after have his number put on "The Wall."
