Money tied up into the Captain - TB - while he’s been terrible has it been bc of injury? We were counting on him. Not Shaq Thompson. Milano is nowhere near 100 percent. What if I told you in late August Poyer would be playing for Rapp? Bosa is absolutely playing thru something significant. And the Oliver and Hoecht injuries are catastrophic for us bc the next guys up are Jordan Philips and some guy named Mathis? Now Shaq Lawson is coming back? Bc our 3rd round draft capital Landon Jackson (a pick that could have been used in a trade or for a good draft pick) has been a total bust. In case we forgot, the movie last night reminded us another 3rd round pick someone by the name of Dewayne Carter is a DT on this team out for the year. Along with another pick in Dorian Strong. You’re right. It isn’t a 2024 Lions MASH unit. But bc this D lacks studs it needs most if not all important cogs on the field.

My problem with missing the playoffs, getting a better draft pick - it’s not going to force any necessary front office changes. It’s not worth debating bc Pegula isn’t firing anyone. Because of Josh we have a punchers chance in the playoffs, but we know bc of this roster we aren’t good enough. Good. But not good enough. Too many injuries on defense and the worst collection of weapons for Josh since 2018. We also might have coordinators not cut out for this. Good. But overmatched. I don’t know what the answer is. But I know if I’m the owner best solution might be - I waste zero time firing Beane and getting someone that has 3-5 years to figure it out. Then, if by Josh’s final act (age 34-39 seasons) that new regime hasn’t figured it out - I can hire another for one last chance to do so. Clock is ticking Terry.

We have spent 5 plus years building a defense to get after the QB. Lighter quicker LBs. And they’ve always wanted 2 elite CBs. To you know, stop offenses in 2025. Then they spent these last 3 years building an offense that would be able to pound the rock - which everyone here agreed we needed that ELEMENT to our game. The team build is a total contraction to what they tell you they want on defense in order to stop modern offenses as they’ve built an offense almost going out of their way to avoid getting elite WRs. Which is a vital element to winning in 2025. It’s absolutely bizarre. And we have no reason to believe otherwise that it hasn’t been the plan bc Beane doubled down on it “why are we talking about WR??!!”

Shaq Lawson on the way (now reportedly signed to practice squad)

I don’t think it’s that. I think the way teams are spying him is working and for some reason we don’t have a counter to it. Sobering realization: Allen isn’t 24 anymore and can out run those spies with a move or a stiff arm thru the ground. We better figure this out quick. Been said 1000x we are wasting his prime with this sad collection of talent around him. 1 minute in - watch number 0 spy Allen Watch all the plays. Spy. I don’t think Josh is sure he’s going to out run them.

November vs December & January Bills Football
Big Blitz replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m looking at the Texans game differently today. Jared Goff threw 5 INTs vs that D last year. They just don’t allow ANYTHING. We were really ok considering no Kincaid and a complete reshuffling of WRs week to week. The only unacceptable loss this year is Miami. You can make a case for NE more than Atlanta imo. NE was at home. 11 league sanctioned penalties. Other than that, I still think there is reason to be confident we can make a run. Then I see the injuries and I’m like, just get me to the off season I’m so over this ***t. -
He has absolutely redeemed himself for the tank. Good work JW. I listen every day.

They would all be tolerable (Cook is a HR) if this team’s 2022-2024 drafts weren’t so awful. The 2025 class still TBD. What all-pro or just pro bowlers have we drafted since 2018 outside of Josh? How many have the legit SB contenders drafted? Thats the measuring stick. Not comparing us to every team - comparing us to the SB caliber Teams with SB rosters. That McD wouldn’t even call ours when he was asked.

Benford is the only one that was worth signing at his contract. The others are grossly overpaid. I want Knox here but not at his salary. I want Oliver but not at his salary - remember he was awesome before he got hurt, twice. And that’s been the story of his career. Everyone else is a replaceable jag. The Oliver and Hoecht injuries are proving to be a disaster for this team. We don’t have enough horses. And I think the team is playing like they know it. They look like they are “hoping to win” instead of “knowing they will win.”

I don’t know how the tiebreakers will work, but 4-5 teams could be 10-7. If we lose at Pittsburgh season is over. We won’t get in unless we win out which we aren’t good enough to do. I’m not sure where 3 wins will come from. Cleveland, Bengals, Jets.

Michael Wolff — the journalist who we just learned was coaching Epstein on how to gain leverage over a presidential candidate — said in an interview that Epstein was growing suspicious that Donald Trump was the one who informed on him and set the stage for when his legal troubles truly began. Well… Epstein’s legal troubles truly began in March 2005. And Wolff was pointing to a 2004 real estate dispute over a Palm Beach mansion. 🔻 In these newly released emails, we get this line: “the dog that hasn’t barked is Trump…” That stuck with me… and then VOILA, it clicked! The phrase “the dog that hasn’t barked” comes from Sherlock Holmes’ story called Silver Blaze. In the story: —— “The stable had a guard dog. On the night of the crime, the dog did not bark. Which meant — the intruder must have been someone the dog knew. Otherwise, it would’ve barked.” So… who was redacted in that email? Virginia Giuffre. Whose name democrats redacted. Epstein wrote he was “75% there” — meaning 75% sure it was Trump as the silent informant, with Giuffre as the likely conduit for the tip-off knowledge. This email tells me Epstein was trying to find the leak after a British tabloid started exposing his network — and he was emailing associates to hunt down the source. 🔻 THEN, we have Attorney Bradley Edwards — who, in 2009, praised Donald Trump for being the ONLY subpoenaed person to willingly provide helpful information in the — “Donald Trump was the only person who would pick up the phone…” — “He gave very good information that checked out and was very helpful.” 🔻 THEN, just a few months ago, we heard Mike Johnson say Trump was an FBI informant trying to take Epstein down. Oopsie… 🔻 Epstein and Maxwell were finally arrested — under the Trump administration. 🔻 In summary… In Epstein’s own words, the timeline, the motive, the silence, the cooperation, the arrests — everything points to one conclusion: Donald Trump was the informant who helped take down one of the most prolific pedophile and blackmail operations in history.

Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.

Thought the tweet was going to say: ”Nothing displays Beane’s arrogance…..then drafting Rousseau and Boogie Basham back to back in the 2021 draft.” -
Time to Rebuild? Too Many Beane Holes.
Big Blitz replied to OutOfBubbleGum's topic in The Stadium Wall
Too much dead cap. A “rebuild” is not in the cards for this team unless you can tell us how we can operate with 40 plus million in cap space starting in 2027. By then, that’s 2 more years of Josh wasted. And why finding replacements for Beane and McD will be tricky - new regime isn’t inheriting a team with 100 mill in cap space. It will be inheriting a roster of old overpaid jags that may not match their philosophy. This is fast approaching a complete catastrophe. -
