You know why he’s so salty here? Aside from knowing he lost to the one guy in the league he knows is better than him It’s because he’s used to this NEVER HAPPENING to them. Ever.

This one is an all timer: If the ref was on top of this the flag would have been thrown by the TWO SECOND mark of this video. Earlier than that. Instead, it’s thrown under the worst optics possible.

I clearly said in the op and thread title - this is NOT AN EXCUSE. It’s not why we lost. It’s not why the Chiefs won yesterday. Just don’t tell me the league can’t ensure that the playing field can easily be tilted if it needs to do so. Is it a certainty? Nope. We could have beat NE in spite of the refs. Doesn’t mean they didn’t have an agenda. We have a lot of evidence across sports that they’ve rigged games and in a country with legalized gambling - and a league that stands to gain significantly if certain outcomes happen it is absolutely right to question. The agenda last week wasn’t - make Buffalo lose. But question - who did the league want to win last Sunday? What was better for the league and for the franchise with the leagues most influential owner? Make the Pats relevant. That’s what they did. Because without phantom holds and no DPIs NE job was a lot harder. And the AFC East was wrapped up. If they lose at least they got their narrative. If they win all the better. And last night it was “let them play.” Knowing the Chiefs were probably winning anyway. Sometimes “rigging” is limit the flags. Or just don’t throw them at all.

I actually said early in the 1st quarter during the long Lions drive (that didn’t feature a drive killing holding that we got it right off the bat vs NE) I’m beginning to think the League no longer considers the Chiefs as league darlings and they won’t be getting “help.” I thought they were flagged a lot at Jacksonville and at key times. Literally 2 minutes later the Goff reversed TD call. “After a conversation” was actually said by the ref. I guess that was better than “NY called and said “we should have thrown a flag.” Does that apply to obvious pass interference calls that aren’t called? Where no flag hits the turf even after the play. This league man. I actually don’t care they threw few flags - it’s how it should be and roughly fairly equal unless it CLEARLY impacts a play. But these last 2 Sundays just unacceptable.

I said this a few weeks ago - if we don’t win the AFC it will be because we don’t have the weapons - specifically a WR 1. The league catching up to what we do - and the quality of defenses and QBs we play this year is unlike any year of the Allen era. Last year we needed to make a trade at 3-2. We benefited from the division being God awful. The Keon pick and a lack of development in the peak Josh Allen era should get someone fired. Spending the money we have on mid WRs - Palmer and Samuel - currently is egregious.

Why we all should be taking it one week at a time. This league is brutal. After week 2 the Chargers looked like world beaters. After week 3 the Bills were going to run away with the AFCE. After week 4 the Colts are LEGIT After week 5 the Jaguars are Legit. After week 6 the Bucs and Patriots are going to meet in the SB.
