  1. Good call. Missed on a big one. Should be just ahead of Belichick.
  2. Doug Marrone's credibility ranking. Least credible throughout history. 1. Adolph Hitler 2. Josef Stalin 3. Doug Marrone 4. Any North Korean dictator 5. Isis 6. Jerry Sullivan 7.......... Ok I know I'm over the top on this one. Starting to lose it over this guy. And to think I tried the best I could to believe and support him. Fooled again by a dishonest, self-centered, jerk. When will I learn not to be so gullible. Doug Marrone has no credibility with me, and should have none within the decent hardworking people of the world. I feel better now.
  3. Thanks for link BBB! I'm still thinking the chances of this happening are greater in Chicago.
  4. Agreed. Without knowing the exact plan the Bills have in mind and having to rely on speculation and rumors, I don't believe he is going to be the HC.
  5. That may have been more about opportunity.
  6. Good point about regression of players. You can make a BOLD argument that none of our offensive players improved.
  7. Did you ever notice how often NE gets PI plays downfield on 3rd and very long? Other teams like BAL as well. We never took advantage of the rules!
  8. I like this. Not pointed out enough on here. I would also add that this follows along with creating more big "Splash" plays. Very hard to play it as conservative as this past season was played. Trying to spend 12-14 plays and 6-7 minutes moving the ball downfield slowly with little risk.
  9. Saw the same thing. Doesn't exactly inspire confidence that he is over his problem. He is however probably the best talent scout out there. Glad he's not in AFC East.
  10. Not a chance! I go through the process and pick who works best for my team.
  11. Yeah 2006 was 8 years ago, we were all years younger. What have you done lately right?
  12. This post reminds me of the old historical media plug about the NFL leading rusher not being on a Super Bowl champ. Therefore, the narrative was you couldn't win if you had the leading rusher. Then comes Emmitt Smith......we know the rest of the story. Believing that because something hasn't happened, that It won't, is very dangerous.
  13. Not questioning, but is there a link to this not being a package deal? Same. Is there a link?
  14. Welcome. Watch your back around here.
  15. Absolutely true. Picking the best brains out there and hearing what they think of our players.
  16. Not sure what you're after. If you're implying we shouldn't hire Shanahan because it was his fault RG3 got hurt! I disagree.
  17. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/ShanMi0.htm Not sure what the definition of mediocre is. But, a 91-69 record after Elway retired using Brian Griese and Jake Plummer as QBs.Multiple playoff appearances including a 13-3 record during the same period. People also forget so quickly that he went 11-5 and had Washington in the playoffs before RG3 got hurt. Is he flawless? No! Is he a mediocre football guy? NO WAY
  18. A lot of people on this board falling prey to the recency bias in regard to the Shanahan's. Checkout the record before the 3-4 yr stint in Washington. We would be fortunate to have them. I'm also not sure Washington is a place anyone can succeed right now.
  19. Yessir I agree. Offense is his forte and they are good at it. Whats next-Cutler?
  20. Things are really starting to get interesting.Im sure the Bills have multiple ideas/plans-at least I hope so. Reich/Schwartz is also plausible
  21. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2015/01/03/49ers-considering-shanahan-shanahan-15-year-master-plan-oh-man/ What do you think of this plan?
  22. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/2015/01/03/49ers-considering-shanahan-shanahan-15-year-master-plan-oh-man/ Niners may have a master secession plan in mind with the Shanahan's.
