  1. The OL coach has not developed anyone and the line has regressed from the start of last year.
  2. There's the answer right there.
  3. I was thinking the same thing watching the game today. Obviously if we don't fix the OL nothing is going to work.
  4. Agree. At the most important time all season the D couldn't get a stop on 3rd and 22!
  5. No! When I hear he's gone I might, depending on who the replacement is.
  6. Good call by the OP. I think a lot of people noticed after about the 3rd or 4th series that Mack was killing our tackles and they needed help!
  7. How come the OL COACH is never mentioned as a problem? 4 returning lineman, 3 draft picks and a free agent signee, and that was all he could produce in 2 seasons. He should be gone faster than Hackett.
  8. I haven't given up either. It was good to hear Fred Jacksons' comments about EJ!
  9. Thanks for posting. Interesting take from a respected player.
  10. Relax Yolo , don't fall for the doom and gloom narrative on this board. I think you're just getting beat down. All that matters now is we win out and make the playoffs. Whaley will figure out the QB situation in the offseason, mark it down.
  11. Boy people throw the word HATE around on this board like it's nothing. Intense dislike should be reserved for more serious things.
  12. 4 point reduction! 69% from Silver seems a little low to me. I have been getting closer to 80% on the Simulator I use.
  13. Would you take Lane Kiffin with him? Because I've seen him play a lot and Kiffin has done a great job with him. Lane is still a jerk, but he's always had a brilliant offensive mind.
  14. Good! that makes me feel better. I was starting to worry.
  15. Interesting about the OC (current)-I wonder what Bill Walsh could do with them.
  16. Dareus, QB, OL or perhaps Hughes at the right price.
  17. Because that is what these old-school type coaches do. Its all about loyalty and their reputation.
  18. I think he is anticipating pressure to get rid of Hackett after the season, and is trying to de-fang the subject. Also, the Marrone stays=Hackett stays is correct. The best you could hope for if you are not a Hackett fan is for a senior Tom Moore type helper hired in the offseason.
  19. "and waaaay overstate their influence". Interesting comment about the modern media and the realtively new social media dynamic. You probably should never be a political consultant.
  20. McCarthy moved Cobb in the backfield to counter this eventually.
  21. No way its a marketing move.
