Thank You! I agree with this 100%. He gets crapped on by a lot of people on this board. His 1975 season was terrific as well given the context of the times. That offense I have always thought was the best Bills offense ever and one of the better NFL ones. #1 in scoring and yards against a really tough schedule.

If we keep Tyrod...

Fire Chan, Ryan L Blitz and Gugny will be fit for straight jackets. In all seriousness, I expect he will be back. The value has to meet the draft slot to make that decision and we still have a lot of work to do. After, the combine and workouts we will know whether any of these guys are worth the number 10 pick. I am all for taking a QB if it makes sense. -
I originally objected to the categorization of "not very good", without getting into a deep semantical argument, I think his record shows better than that. As for Cutler, consulting PFR, I think Joe at his peak had superior normalized passer ratings. He had a couple of especially good seasons at avoiding interceptions. I'm not saying he was a hall of famer, and like anyone else he had his flaws. He did have a tendency to show bad body language at times. I don't think he was as poor a leader as Cutler. I remember him playing with a "severally" injured ankle against SD in the playoffs, and providing inspirational leadership to the team. Cutler OTOH we have all seen him bag out on his team in the playoffs due to more minor injury. Thanks for the interesting dialogue.

I agree^^^ Nonsense with some in the media always playing games about this stuff. Waste of time -
Let's see. My son was 2 and my daughter 1 at the time of the game. There both big Bills fans. So, I raised a family with my beautiful wife. Coached Triple A boys hockey and won a state championship, final 4 nationals. Changed jobs around this time and went from a fortune 500 life to a smaller business life. I now run the business. My daughter is in Denver working for a think tank type thingy. And, my son is a management consultant. Our health is good, knock on wood, the usual stuff over the years. Although I did get hit by a car in 97 leading to broken leg. My wife and I have been through some of the usual things of a 30 year marriage. Our marriage is strong, she went back to teaching school, and we are empty nesters now and don't have any grandchildren yet. Took up golf some 15 years ago and have become hooked. I'm a 7 or 8 handicap. Life is good. Nice topic.

Just enough to not win the election by the rules set forth going into the election. It is the electoral college. We gained more yards than they did! we should have won. You think strategies might change a bit if it was the popular vote not the electoral college. Jeez. People get over it you lost. I'm an independent and I voted for Hilary(held my nose). So don't give me the I'm a Trump lover. -
Wanna dump Tyrod, then who's the new QB
D. L. Hot-Flamethrower replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I know what they're saying is the whole team is the problem offense, defense and special teams. Blow it up is the mantra. And, that is an over simplification of how teams need to be built. Quite frankly alot of people think this team would improve just by competent coaching. And, with some tweaking there is ample evidence they could have been a playoff team this year. But, yeah blow it all up. Nonsense. Yards really. DVOA has them 10th the last 2 years. Read up on it much better way to rate offenses. -
Your 2017 QB will be.... Jay Cutler.

So !@#$in sick of this "she's (Clinton) the most qualified person in history to be president." She just sucks as a candidate, If you want to win elections, put up a better candidate. For chrissake people need to get a grip, you lost because the woman running the DNC did everything in her power to make sure Hilary was the nominee. This in spite of the fact she's not electable. I know lots of people who detest Trump and didn't vote for him, and they will still say they can't stand Hilary. Think that has a little impact on the election? -

2018 QB Draft Class

I basically agree with this. I would like to see how these 2 QBs fare during the process leading up to the draft though.
