  1. You do realize that Frazier's defenses have been outstanding against the run, and the Bills suck against the run. And, that we have a new HC who is usually outstanding against the pass. You're new around he I see, you'll learn you can't come on here and just BS opinions. People on here will smell it and chew you up. I would also add we have a run game coordinator, we are now looking for someone to help the Passing game. I think that kind of attention to both aspects is very refreshing as a Bills fan.
  2. I disagree with you placement of blame. Miami 1 is on the defense as much if not more than the offense, they gave up 454 yds and 28 FD and Ajayi ran all over them, the offense puit up 25 pts Sea is on the defense, the offense had 425 yds and 30 FDs and 28 pts against the number 1 scoring D, should be good enough Oak is more on the defense, should be able to protect a 24-9 lead in the 3rd QTR There is 3 games that should have been wins with competent defense.
  3. You're correct. The Bills lead the league in losses at 6 or 7 ? when scoring 24+ pts. End of story. If the rest of the team was up to snuff you win a few of those games.
  4. Yes it means something! And, no coach is going to turn a team of Arena league guys into a SB Winner. However, the athleticism in the NFL is much tighter than many believe. Therefore, these are very small margins we are working with, and coaching makes a huge a difference. Some coaches are able to go from spot to spot and maximize the players they have at every stop. I think what you are trying to say is there aren't that many good coaches around.
  5. Why bother with a coach if he means nothing.
  6. Where is Russ? PR disaster brewing I say! Yes please! Link?
  7. Where is the leaker or Leroi when we need them?
  8. Have I missed it or has there been any news on new interviews other than Olson yesterday? I thought we'd hear something by now!
  9. Good post. I also get a kick out of those who worry about redundancy at the QB position.
  10. Me too! Getting Philip Rivers would be a long shot dream. But, hey I think we need to look outside the box.
  11. It may be true, I've recently fought against it. Manning did win the Super Bowl because of his defense last year though. At any rate, it's NOT a good thing for the league to have gone so far in the direction of the QB. Especially given that college teams don't seem to be producing these types of QBs because of the spread offenses in college.
  12. An NFL record could be broken next year if he's hired to run that Defense. Most yards allowed. Probably top 8000 yards
  13. LMFAO! hahahahahahahahahahah LOLOLOLOLOLOL :D
  14. Hmm Brad Childress is an Eastern Illinois alum. Know who else is? Tony Romo
  15. Cleveland - RG3 (Trubisky-draft) SF - Watson (1st round) Jets - Kizer (1st round) Bears - Cutler Bills - Romo (trade- 2nd rd pick) Broncos - Tyrod Texans - Savage I know you are assuming Rivers is back in SD, everything changes if he's available and I think the Bills trade the number 10 pick to Chargers for him. I could see Romo in Houston then.
  16. I think you're wrong. Nonsense. Wrong again. This is the pragmatic view. And, all this crap about where someone was drafted several years ago means nothing now total BS.
  17. I like this , it is extremely important for Mickey D to have experienced support.
  18. Actually, if you can throw, you can throw and this has been statsictically shown over the years. In a relative sense of course, you do need to keep them honest I think. I'm not talking about abandoning the run though. Just spread the field with more athelticism and don't be afraid to come out attacking.
  19. https://theringer.com/nfl-spread-offense-quarterbacks-72148a036561#.nzutbcsha This is interesting relating to alot of what is talked about on this board. Check i out. Quotes from Childress. I personally would love it if we got a receiver like Mike Williams and another in FA to put with Watkins, and attack more. I think Shady would find lots of gaps.
  20. This article has quotes from Childress and is about the spread offense. I found it quite interesting, and quite appropriate to this topic discussed last week. Taylor would fit in this scheme as well. Draft Mike Williams and put the FB on the bench until short yardage situation and late game. https://theringer.com/nfl-spread-offense-quarterbacks-72148a036561#.9pmn4vlv6
  21. Spread game Coordtinator, very interesting! I've wanted to us to spread the field more and add another reciever like Mi.Williams. I have hope.
  22. So.... Childress would be making a lateral move? Hmmmm
