  1. I think everyone may be overlooking this guy. He has a lot of talent and could be a really good player for us this year. Good call on the post.
  2. Everyone please. Hot take! Having talent and being in the lineup is important to playing on the NFL. Seriously, all that matters is what happens going forward. We are projecting and using past information to do this, while the best indicator of the future is the past, it is imperfect at best. A few years ago people in Atlanta were unhappy about the Jones trade and the injuries. Now they think he is god. I have no reason to think, based on his rate of performance if targeted, and the reports that he is healthy and working hard; that Sammy Watkins a top 5 pick and 23 years old will not be an elite perfomer. But hey it takes a little luck too.
  3. If you are SF and you love Trubisky and the team ahead of could wants him too.....you better be quiet. They have been quiet, need a QB and floating trade down rumors. Hmmm it will be interesting.
  4. It would seem that the Jets are a potential landing spot for Trubisky. Is it just me, but I have a feeling that San Francisco may take him at 2. If that happened we could see a run on QBs and where does Solomon Thomas go is the question. I guess Tenn if they don't go Allen Garrett-cle, Trubisky-sf, Lattimore-chi, Fournette-jax, Allen-ten, Adams-nyj, Hooker-lac, McCaffery-car, Ross-cin...... Could that be for the benefit of #25 Houston seeing?
  5. That sounds like what Whaley is doing. I know you believe he is not making the calls.
  6. So they took the bait that we are taking a QB?
  7. And, what usually happens with those kind of expectations? DISAPPOINTMENT
  8. Perine, Foreman, Conner I've seen and like a lot. A big fat NO to Daveon Smith from Mich....slow, slower, slowest
  9. ^^^^ I like the way you think..... because I agree with just about everything you said. I like your 5 but would move Davis up higher.
  10. I think being successful enables him to dabble with different things. He doesn't seem like the type to just sit back and say lets stick with what works. Kudos to him for realizing things will evolve and you need to be looking ahead at what you need to do.
  11. Yes and the Pats spending this off season will indeed have some misses... and big ones. Copy cat league....Doug Whaley has been employing this strategy for awhile now! Indeed. Welcome back.
  12. Offensive Line (Boles, Ramzcyk, Robinson)...Not for the Bills in round 1.
  13. Has anyone who wants to pay a backup the 10th most RB money stopped to ask yourself the question? 5.7 YPC and 9 TDS....will he regress from those numbers?
  14. I think Davis will be there and if he's the pick that would be awesome! Can run routes, can run after catch, Big and will bring them down in the EZ.
  15. Take the pick and the cap space.
  16. All very true and for those who have difficulty hearing and comprehending the truth.
  17. That if we stay at 10 we draft a good football player who will help us for the next 10 years.
  18. It is ridiculous to take the position of his won-loss record or the talent not improving. Facts paint an 8-8 team that topped out at 9 wins and prior to that was winning 4-6 every year. The talent as measured by SRS(power ratings) on Football reference also supports a team in the middle that if anything could have a won more games! Also, I don't know how anyone could watch the Bills coaching in game, and NOT think that they bear the brunt of the criticism that we are not a playoff team. We have pissed away games and not been ready to play at the wrong times.
  19. Nobody sends out a smokescreen like the Bills! Whaley is doing a great job getting everyone to believe they could pick several guys at #10 or trade up or trade back or......Nice work Doug and the crew.
