Indeed it is a factor and it has to be weighed properly as well. Does a couple concussions take both Rosen and Mayfield off draft boards, does Allen's shatterered collarbone etc. That's why McBeane is paid the big bucks.

Some food for though for those who think NYG are taking a QB. An offense with Beckham,Barkley,Engram ,Shepherd...add in Solder at LT. Then you throw in draft picks added in a trade for additional OL help. Pretty damn good with Eli pulling the trigger. Flip side a rookie QB, no Barkley still need to draft a back, no additional picks, Eli has a big contract Gettleman has drafted a RB very high before

I think the stuff from Allens' tweets makes it less and less likely he goes high. I can't imagine trying to sell that along with he's a big project to ownership and fanbase...let alone the team.

The only thing that I will worry about today is if Mayfield goes 1 then Darnold goes 2 followed by Jets taking our guy Rosen at 3.
