Got fired from my summer painting job in college, not because of my work. It was because I recommended a buddy of mine for a job on the painting team. He turned out to be a real screwup as a painter.

IMHO Josh Allen is ready to take the next step, and I worry that we don't have enough high level playmakers to make that happen. John Brown is getting covered over the top by a safety, until we can take the top off the D the windows are going to get tighter. Now if <insert name> were our number 1 and the Bills now have Brown , Beasley, Knox, Foster, Duke, McKenzie things get more interesting. I'm in favor of going all in if we can a playmaker who is a difference maker.

I don't get the D+ grade and him being our worst player on Sunday. SMH

I don't think this can be overstated, this offense looks more wide open and much tougher to defend when this is the case. This team could be really tough on offense with this type of receiver.

Simply put, fantasy football, we now have a crowd that roots for numbers and as you say equates it with being elite. The problem of course being context or lack of attention to the context by many.

I feel the same as you do. IMHO these folks root for the model to be correct. Silly me, but they should be finding a way to utilize all the information. And, allow for the fact that there are variables that are just plain random or are hard, if not impossible, to account for. By all accounts, JA appears to have characteristics of a leader in spades, while inexperienced, his teammates and coaches want to play/work for him. Oh and BTW, the dude has some pretty good talent at his disposal. It's still early in his career, but I'm happy to say we took the correct Josh.

It's actually a sign of limited emotional intelligence to not be able to admit being wrong and learn from it. Although most of these folks would never admit to being wrong at any point. I personally wanted Rosen because I believed finishing 6th in the WAC in completion % was a bad indicator. I was told you couldn't fix accuracy. What I didn't take into account was how raw, talented, and in possession of outstanding characteristics Allen is. I have admitted to being wrong and I am extremely pleased we drafted the Josh with the most upside. People invested in the media and with stats are focused on what worked in the past, what they are failing to realize is this is a new era and to stubbornly fail to adjust their thinking. The world is never as simple as a model. The people who realize this and take everything into account will come out ahead per usual. It's about the future and not the past repeating itself so you can claim the high ground.

If it will shut up the fantasy stats crowd I'm all in favor if it.

I think Diggs would make a difference to this team, dynamic playmaker with speed. My question- What are we waiting for? I have not given up on winning the division. The key is to keep improving.

Not for me. I'd like to swing a deal for someone who could slide into 1 slot and still use the guys you have and Foster, McKenzie.
